Another Arena of Honor match began, and this time everyone arrived on time. Once again, DEUS checked the team—only to realize that one member was missing. As the group entered the final match with high expectations, one teammate announced he would not be able to participate. The rest of the team had to make a quick decision and find a replacement.
Fortunately, DEUS always had a solution. He invited his friend xMORIx, a bowman player from the VMD alliance who shared the same server, and just like that, the team was complete.
As the countdown began, everyone prepared. So far, the team had been performing exceptionally well, and it felt like only a matter of time before they faced a strong opponent. When the timer expired, they entered the map once again as House Targaryen.
DEUS laid out the plan: first capture two NPC buildings, then move on to the City of Glory. As Lux scanned the map, she noticed EdF and EdF Team Two playing as House Stark, along with some familiar faces in House Lannister—skilled PvP players she had often battled on K40 during her ASE days.
“Wow, this will be a tough match,” DEUS admitted, suspecting that those two houses might collaborate against them.
“We can try for the City of Glory, but anything can happen,” he added. “Let’s see how it goes.”
Everyone agreed, and xMORIx pointed out that securing the City of Glory would guarantee first place for the team.
As the match started, everyone took their strongholds. House Targaryen waited to see what the others would do. Initially, they planned to build cavalry camps, but after House Lannister committed to infantry and House Stark to spearmen, Targaryen hesitated. Eventually, they opted for a mix of spear and infantry camps. This required rebuilding from scratch, causing them to fall behind in points.

Fifteen minutes into the game, House Targaryen controlled two NPC buildings, while House Stark held one. Clearly, the original plan was working.
“We still have the City of Glory,” MORI said, but DEUS dismissed the idea, staying focused on the NPC buildings.
As altars began opening one by one, the war truly unfolded. House Targaryen fought fiercely for their own altars while also contesting NPC ones. Soon, the other houses retaliated. Then came the Dragon Pit phase.
DEUS instructed Lux to capture it, and she rushed there in time—but House Stark quickly rallied and took control. Lux attempted a counter-rally, but without sufficient reinforcements, she couldn’t break through. House Stark ended up controlling every Dragon Pit on the map.

Meanwhile, Lux sent her main troops to one of the NPC castles, knowing that without her primary formation, success elsewhere would be unlikely.
House Targaryen fluctuated between second and third place as scores shifted rapidly. They still held the NPC buildings and were generating points quickly, but House Lannister had taken all the watchtowers and was leading.
DEUS proposed a new plan: convert NPC camps into trading camps to generate even more points. However, many members had already committed their reinforcements, leaving few with substantial troops. DEUS began to panic, urging everyone to switch to trading camps.
When the City of Glory opened, House Lannister captured it first. A few minutes later, House Stark took control. Reinforcements poured in, but EdF players launched a rally and pushed Stark out, reclaiming the City.
MORI urged DEUS to launch a rally, but DEUS hesitated, still focused on trading camps. Minutes passed, and the City of Glory remained untouched by Targaryen.
Even Lux joined MORI. “Hey, you can try. Let’s go for it—if we get it, we’ll take first place.”
Eventually, DEUS agreed.
Determined to retaliate, DEUS initiated a rally. Everyone joined, sending their strongest dragons. The team was hopeful—and when the rally hit, it worked.

At that moment, it became clear: House Targaryen had a real chance to secure both the City of Glory and first place.
Troops began shifting. Players exchanged units at lightning speed. Soon, the City of Glory gained protection, and House Targaryen surged into first place. There was still time left, but everyone knew the truth—if they lost the City, the match was over.
The earlier switch to spearman camps proved invaluable. House Targaryen secured every watchtower and catapult on the map. When protection expired, the storm returned. Rallies poured in from both houses—and even from an NPC.

But the City of Glory held.
“Hey guys,” DEUS said calmly, “we’ve got this.”
“We really do,” Lux replied. “Do you see it too?”
As the clock ticked down, confidence replaced fear. Victory was within reach—but House Lannister refused to surrender. With reinforcements reduced to 4.7 million, they launched two final attacks.

Panic flared.
DEUS and Lux scrambled to alert teammates with dangerously low troop counts.
“Hey!! Hurry up!”
“LoveAngel, exchange your troops!”
The rallies were closing in. Seconds felt like minutes.
“You need to use speedups!” Lux shouted.
“Okay, okay—we’re coming!”
Five seconds before impact, House Targaryen restored full defenses—six million troops standing strong. The rallies crashed… and failed. Not a single one broke through the wall of bowmen.
Meanwhile, the point gap skyrocketed to 40,000 between first and second place. House Targaryen didn’t even bother with the mine shafts. They captured three mines instead, gaining an additional 24,000 points.
MORI was thrilled that Lux had helped convince DEUS to rally the City of Glory—but DEUS was still talking about trading camps, making everyone laugh.
With four minutes left, Lux finally allowed herself to breathe.
Victory was certain.
Arena of Honor | Season 5 Round 9 | House of Targaryen | Bowmen of Destiny
After five consecutive wins, Lux was growing accustomed to triumph in the Arena—but she never became careless. Caution, after all, was what sustained victory.
Still, one truth was undeniable:
Bowmen troops could not be defeated—not even by maxed-out accounts, not even by the strongest formations the Arena could offer.
Every member of the team had achieved King Glory rank, and they were now pushing even closer to Glory King.
