With the Spring fully settling in now in Westeros, the Season 5 of Arena of Honor is quickly approaching its middle now heading towards Round 7. With decent results in the previous round will [N0X]OliverQ be able to get to Glory King ranking and surpass his best performance in Season 4? remains to be seen, for now he's going to focus each round by itself. In the 2 weeks between the rounds prepared as good as he possibly could and while he's not yet able to equip his troops with valyrian steel weapons yet, he's made a great progress and hopefully by the end of this Arena of Honor season he will be able to do so. Preparation took most of the 2 weeks and in before he knew it was already Sunday around noon, so it was time for him to take his troops, commanders and dragons and head to the mercenary camp for yet another round in solo queue. Once he arrived, he headed directly to the registration office to sign the papers as there was very little time left before the matchmaking.

With the matchmaking completed, it was time for the house representatives to step out of the battlefield and pick their teams. OliverQ was chosen by Sansa Stark to fight in the name of her house, and together with him Sansa also handpicked [ADm]Taptapneh, [TIL]Teo23 GR, [Stm]Mr DANGEROUS, [mmt]BelgiumPower, [CTW]Android 17, [KTW]AllenLiu H and [FRL]Hrust.

Once all the houses picked their teams everyone stepped back inside the battlefield and headed towards their House's Clan Castles with OliverQ and his team heading towards the frozen north where the House Stark's Clan Castle is located. Once they arrived there, everyone started setting their camps around the castle and OliverQ decided to send a few scouts on the battlefield to see what they are up against in this round.

Teams

While he was worried that his team was missing 2 members that decided to not enter the battlefield on the last minute, once the spies returned, to his surprise, he noticed that some warriors from the other teams also decided to bail last second, maybe there was a party somewhere in Essos and they had to leave? Knowing now that the chances at winning just got even again, at least in terms of participation, OliverQ was determined to win this round at all costs. The planning was put aside as soon as the battle started, and the strongholds dropped the protection bubbles. In a blink of an eye, everyone started rushing towards them, to start the points generation as quickly as possible.

Building the strongholds

Once the occupation period was done, OliverQ as the team commander decided to go with military camps once again, as it worked pretty good in the past. His plan paid off on the first NPC attack on House Greyjoy's Clan Castle and now the Starks were having 2 clan castles at their disposal. There was no time to celebrate as the altars started opening and the Starks ordered the team to occupy as many of them as possible, especially the ones that boost NPCs stats in an attempt to keep the watch towers and catapults and have an easier time occupying the City of Glory. Everyone on the team answered to the call and they rushed into occupying the altars as quickly as possible.

The first solos were swift and left the enemies in shambles but that only worked for a few minutes as enemies noticed what House Stark was trying to do and they quickly adapted to the attacks and started reinforcing each other. Despite that, the minutes it took them to adapt were crucial and Starks managed to occupy quite some altars and their NPCs finally started taking the watch towers back from House Targaryen.

City of Glory

With the altars secured it was time for everyone to head their attention towards the middle of the battlefield as City of Glory just dropped bubble and opened for attacks. For the first time after 2 seasons and almost half, OliverQ felt like it's time for him to take the lead and actually rally the City of Glory for his team.

Several team members quickly joined the rally and withing seconds it was already on the way to challenge the House Targaryen's defenses there.

Despite not having a full rally, he managed to take the Targaryen's defenses by surprise and took down more than half of their forces before they managed to flee from the city and now it was time for the Starks to organize their defense. The Lannister's that till then only watched, joined the Targaryen's and together they had 3 rallies heading towards the city now. In a matter of minutes, a fight of epic proportions took place at the city gates and despite having a lot more troops that Starks had in defense, they didn't manage to break the defenses.

After a continuous battle that lasted almost 20 minutes with reinforcements dropping as low as 2 million troops and rallies being quickly made and sent back on attack, the House Stark finally managed to secure the City of Glory with under 10 minutes left to fight on the round and that basically secured them the win.

Very disputed round where all cards got played on the City of Glory and OliverQ finally managed to lead his team to a win with the help of the relentless reinforcements coming from the other warriors. This was the 3rd win in a row for him and his ranks climbing is going very well for now at least. Will he be able to continue winning and get higher on the ranks? We'll have to wait and see. See you all on the battlefield!
