The spring is setting in; Westeros is already moving towards the month of April and the last round of Siege of Winterfell season 17 it's about to start. After 5 rounds, [N0X] managed to win against [TIS], [6NK] and [tSB] and lost against [RRH] and [IiI]. With a 3-2 score they are keeping a very slim chance to qualify for the Siege of Winterfell playoffs, but any chance is a chance, right? For that however they would need to win at the highest points difference possible, so the leadership took the 2 days between round 5 and round 6 and tried to do the best possible offensive strategy in order to get the maximum points possible and have the best chance on qualifying. They had to make a few different strategies with different rosters for each building; each tailored for any of the possible opponents they could get. That took most of the 2 days they had for that and once everything was set in place, Scythe registered the alliance for the round, and everyone waited once again to see what the Old Gods have prepared for them.

After the matchmaking the odds weren't looking to be in favor of [N0X] as they got [GJs], a very strong alliance with warriors like Biet and Xenia Borino in their roster, as opponents so a win at a big score difference will be very hard if not impossible to achieve. Now that the opponent was known, the [N0X] leadership got the strategy they had and did a few last-minute polishing on it and then everyone in [N0X] got their best troops and commanders and headed towards the Siege of Winterfell battlefield. Once they arrived there the battlefield gates opened and everyone from both the alliances started joining in, there were so many warriors, each of them bringing millions of troops and it was looking like the battle it's going to be an epic one.

With just a few seconds before the start of the battle it was looking like [GJs] went to the battle a little unprepared as at least numbers wise [N0X] was having a strong advantage, 90 warriors for them against 82 for [GJs] and while numbers matter a lot in Siege of Winterfell, [N0X] had to stay focused if they wanted to get the win they needed so much.
LadyKnight and Shado were once again assigned to the right side of the battlefield so as soon as the horn sounding the start of battle was heard they started marching towards the Hot Springs together with a waste force of [N0X] warriors. Everyone equipped their troops with the fastest horses available, so the marching didn't take more than a few minutes and everyone from both sides got to the Hot Springs almost at the same time. As soon as they arrived, they noticed that [GJs] decided to send the majority of their forces there so [N0X] was on a heavy numbers disadvantage.
Against all odds, they quickly engaged into fighting, determined to push [GJs] back and if not at least keep them busy so the Armory side could push deeper into enemy territory. Despite putting the biggest effort, the raw power was winning against courage and dedication, but as always, the [N0X] leadership was there, and they quickly took the decision to dispatch some more forces from the Armory side to help on the Hot Springs. With more and more warriors arriving, the battle for Hot Springs started to tip in [N0X] favor as despite the very high healing cost, they were managing to push back [GJs] slowly. As they were starting to retreat towards their strongholds, [N0X] decided to intercept them from the Armory side too and soon [GJs] found themselves flanked from both sides. It was looking like [N0X] will have a very easy win in this round but then more and more warriors from [GJs] started porting into their strongholds and after an epic battle that left both sides with hundreds of millions of wounded troops, [N0X] found themselves pushed back to the Hot Springs and Armory. They were controlling like 60% of the buildings on the map, but for the points they needed to get, that was not even close to be enough.
And then the dragons started spawning on the battlefield and forces were dispatched from both sides to try and escort them to their bases. For [GJs] the dragons were their chance to change the tide of battle, for [N0X] the chance to get the win they needed so both fought for every set of dragons like they were the last points available on the battlefield. While the first 2 sets of dragon's spawn close to the bases and they were easily split 1-1, once they started spawning in the middle of the battlefield the real battle started. Fights were insanely bloody for each of them, and everyone fought till the last troop just to heal them back and quickly send them back into the battle. With resilience and determination, after tens of minutes of insanely bloody battles, [N0X] managed to take a few of the [GJs] dragons on the last minute and that basically sealed the deal for the round.

Despite not being enough to qualify to the Ultimate Conquest, the 6th round of season 17 was probably the best round [N0X] played in Siege of Winterfell. Every warrior shown determination and resilience for the whole battle duration and didn't spare any resources in healings to get back into the battle as quickly as possible. They are all leaving this Siege of Winterfell season with a slight bitter taste that they were so close to qualify once again, but the things improve for them every season, so they'll surely be able to qualify on the next season. Until then, see you all on the battlefield for the other events!
