The Road to Glory - Arena of Honor Season 5 Round 5

As Westeros is approaching the begin of March, the snow has fully melted now and the spring is approaching, for [N0X] LadyKnight it's time to participate in another round of Arena of Honor, the 5th one. After getting 4 wins in the first 4 rounds, she's sitting comfortably in top 100 but her goal by the end of the season it's at least top 30 so there's much more work left to do. With the preparations done, Sunday on the 1st of March even before the sun rises it was time for her to get to the Arena of Honor battlefield to meet with the team. Once she arrived there, she noticed the team went thru a few changes with [FDH]CTBarbarian and [N0X]Unholyfloki joining the team as permanent members. After everyone signed the pre-registration papers, Tominy registered the team and everyone waited for the Old Gods to conclude their matchmaking.

The matchmaking only takes about 5 minutes, so it was done quite quickly and as soon as it was done the battlefield gates opened and the houses representatives got out to pick their teams for this round. House Targaryen had the first pick this round and of course they decided to pick the Fantastic 10 team and once all the houses choose their teams, everyone stepped inside the battlefield and head towards their respective clan castle, so the team together with Daenerys headed towards the South-West forests where the House Targaryen's Clan Castle is located and once they arrived there, everyone started deploying their camps and do last minutes preparations before the fight. While finishing her camp, LadyKnight also decided to send a few spies over the battlefield to see what the other houses are up to.

As expected, the news that the spies got back weren't the best, as there were quite a lot of very strong warriors in the teams invited by the other houses, the [GJs] strongest team led by Biet and Xenia Borino was once again on the battlefield, but not only that, there was also a what it looked like a random team but formed by very strong warriors like HOHOHAHE, Oner M and Problemka among others so the round was announcing intense once again but the team was, as always, ready to battle. The time for strategies was done as the horn announcing the start of battle was heard and the strongholds started dropping their bubble so everyone on the battlefield head towards them to occupy and reinforce them as quickly as possible.

After the 2 minutes of occupation required, the construction time started and Tominy decided to go with military camps once again. With everyone having assigned a certain number of troops for each stronghold the building got completed very quickly and good that it did because the altars started opening and the team will most likely need all their troops to attack and reinforce them. As mostly always on these high stake's battlefields, LadyKnight decided to focus more on reinforcing the stronger members of the team but still decided to scout the battlefield and see if there's any targets that she could attempt to solo out.

Despite not being able to solo anyone out from altars, the other warriors on the team were having more success and helped by the reinforcements, the team managed to secure quite some altars all over the battlefield.

With the altars secured, it was time for the team to head their attention towards the center of the battlefield, as approaching the middle of the fight, City of Glory, the most important building on the battlefield was about to drop the bubble and open for attacks.

This time, the team decided to change the strategy a bit and send RebelHunterX to keep the City of Glory for them, an extremely strong infantry warrior, while Imperialrock kept his lord march to deal with the massive threats on the battlefield. Rebelhunterx kicked the neutral NPCs with a quick solo attack and after exchanging a few solos with Biet, Xenia Borino and the other strong warriors on the battlefield, the team managed to reinforce and stabilize the defenses. Seeing the solos have no effect anymore Biet, Xenia, HOHOHAHE and Oner instantly started their rallies to try and take the city from the House Targaryen. With so many very strong rallies being formed and sent, the team knew that defending the city won't be an easy task, so they prepared themselves to reinforce as quickly as possible and keep RebelHunterX over 8m troops at all times in the city. The rallies were hitting in quick succession and while none of them were winning, each of them was chipping the team's troops in the city so they always had to pull their march back and quickly speed back in. Every rally was extremely bloody for both sides but none of the houses wanted to stop and cut the loses so the millions of troops kept clashing each other, turning the snow around the city red in minutes. Despite having a few close calls with their army in the city dropping as low as 3m, the team never gave up on holding the castle and they kept healing their troops and sending them back to the city as quickly as possible. It was the team's dedication and relentless reinforcing along with RebelHunterX's leadership that finally managed to secure the City of Glory for House Targaryen with just a few minutes left from the fight and that basically won them the round.

Another very hard but very well fought round for the team and it looks like nobody will be able to defeat them this season. But on Arena of Honor looks can be deceiving so we'll have to wait and see what the future has prepared for LadyKnight and the Fantastic 10 team. See you all on the battlefield!
