Empire of Champions - Arena of Honor Season 5 Round 4

As the end of February is approaching in Westeros and winter it's packing its bags to make room for spring, for the warriors across all Westeros it's time to prepare for another round of Arena of Honor. Things are no different for [N0X]LadyKnight as she already started preparations for the next round. With 3 wins in the first 3 rounds, the Glory King rank is already on sight and she's eager to try and get 'it this round together with the Fantastic 10 team. The preparations went well, she managed to get a few upgrades and despite not getting anything very notable, even the small upgrades help. With everything set and done, as it was already Sunday morning just before the sunrise, it was time for her to get her army and head towards the Arena of Honor battlefield. Once she arrived there, she met with the rest of the team and together they signed the pre-registration papers required for Tominy to register the team. Once the team was registered, they waited patiently for the Old Gods to do the matchmaking.

Once the matchmaking got completed, the battlefield doors opened and every team entered the battlefield to see for which house they'll fight this time. The Fantastic 10 team got chosen by Cersei Lannister to fight for the House Lannister in this round and together they headed thru the scorching southern desert towards the south-east forests where the House Lannister Clan Castle was located. Once they arrived there, the last-minute strategies were put in place and LadyKnight took advantage of the last few minutes before the round start to send a few scouts across the battlefield and see what the enemy houses are up to.

As expected, the more wins your team has the stronger the opponents will get, and judging by the scouts' reports, this round was no different. Both the Targaryen's and the Starks had very strong teams under their command with very strong players like Biet, Xenia Borino, Meister Hora and Daeneris. Last minute strategies were quickly developed to match the opponents that the team got, and they were done just in time as the battle horn announcing the start of battle was heard and the strongholds dropped their protection bubbles, so everyone rushed to occupy them as quickly as possible and start the points generation.

As mostly always after the introduction of the AI teams, Tominy decided to go with military camps, this time infantry camps to counter the neutral NPCs guarding the watch towers and the catapults. The constructions were done just in time as the altars started opening and on such a stacked battlefield everyone will need all their troops to withstand the enemy aggression. LadyKnight did her best to reinforce her stronger team-mates as soon as they called for them and also tried to send scouts across battlefield to see if there are any targets that she can kick with solo attacks.

While the reinforcement game was going great and the team managed to secure quite some altars early in the fight, the solo attacks part wasn't going that good for LadyKnight, at least not on the first sets of altars, but as the fight progresses with more and more altars opening, her luck started to change.

The enemies started doing mistakes and she started winning some solos that helped the team even more as the targets were popping left and right on the battlefield, and the team was having a hard time keeping up with all the attacks coming from the other houses and things were about to get even more complicated for them as the City of Glory was about to drop the protective bubble and open for attacks.

As ImperialRock was maining cavalry this round and there were very strong spear warriors on the battlefield, the team decided to let Menat and his infantry try to take the City of Glory and he managed to do so with a swift solo but then before the team could reinforce, he got kicked by the solos from other houses and for a few minutes the strongest warriors launched devasting solos against each other until the team members reinforced in time and then the battle changed from solos to rallies. Both the Targaryen's and the Starks sent 2 of their strongest members to rally and withing seconds the rallies were already marching towards the city. Despite having more than 10 million troops under his command, Menat could only deploy like 6 million at once because the vale where the City of Glory was located was quite narrow and while the defenders were limited by that space the attackers had room to hit with their rallies in quick sequence. Once the rallies started hitting you could hear the valyrian steel weapons clashing from far away, soldiers were falling so quickly on both sides that the medics weren't keeping up with the healing and the snow around the city was quickly turning red. The rallies were relentless for most of the remaining fight, and it was only team's dedication and the reinforces that got there just before the rallies were hitting that managed to save City of Glory and with just a few minutes left from the fight it went into House Lannister's possession.

The City of Glory securing basically decided the fight as with only a few minutes left from the round there was nothing the other 2 houses could do to turn the tides of this fight.

Another very hard but very well fought round for the team, their effort and dedication led them to yet another win, despite having to face very strong opponents. With this win they all managed to reach the Glory King rank and now the fight to maintain 'it begins. Will they be able to keep winning or there will be teams that will manage to stop them? We'll have to wait and see. See you all on the battlefield!
