Arena second round

A new season of arena of honor has just started. After an exciting first round where the starBucksGang team achieved victory. Finally ending their losing streak in Arena of honor.

Heaven is always leading the team, coordinating the moves of the team if they wanna listen that is. 

On this winter day, the wind is blowing so hard the frosted leaves are in the air. Heaven feels the cold air blowing to her brown hair, the cold bothers her, but also keeps her focussed. So she starts waking up the team, telling them to join and get ready to fight. Afterall, they did very well last time. Can they pull off the victory again?

Like every week, some people are running late again, but Heaven told herself not to even mention it. Thinking that they will remember themselves to press ready. Only her hubby, she made sure he was ready. It took some time but everyone got ready.

Heaven is getting anxious but the minute, just from wondering who they will face this round. As they won last round, she thinks the opponents aren’t going to be so favorable. She looks at her team before entering the arena battlefield. What she saw shocked her.

The number of strong players is highhhhhhhhhh. Looking at the NBe team, our team has no shot at first place. Besides TheOnlyKing, CH4RLIEE & MUSAdra999 are there too. CH4RLIEE is by far our biggest threat. 

But wait wait, who is the other team? Heaven is afraid to even look, if one team has the strong guys from NBe, who could possibly be in the other team? Her hubby has to look for her. Hubby mumbled: “Grombold and Makima”. Heaven is not amused about this news. The team is losing their mind, they feel like the match is pointless, before the match even started. That’s a harsh reality to face.

Even though the team already feels defeated, Heaven encourages the team not to give up yet. Miracles happen every day. That being said, the match starts. The strongholds are open first. 

The team takes charge. The first priority is getting the enemy house next to ours. 

Heaven tells the team to build cav camps, these will help in taking the first enemy house and also with the watchtower. Our team is solely focused on our team and the house next to us. While the NBe super team is taking charge of 2 enemy houses next to them. Changing the game for us. As Heaven notices this, the joy returns. Taking 2nd now is possible, it’s almost guaranteed. As long as the NBe team takes the glory city, our team will take second.

The glory city opens, heaven tells the team not to attack, only observe. We will only attack if the BDR team takes the glory city. So heaven is anxiously looking at the glory city. The NBe team takes it. However it’s not over, they need to hold it for 4 minutes. The BDR team is rallying them. TheOnlyKing is holding the glory city. The BDR team tries, but TheonlyKing is strong and holds on for dear life. Nothing they can do about it, every try results in the same outcome. Just like someone once said: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”. The BDR team gave up on their insanity after 3 tries.

Meanwhile our team just chilled, and held on to altars. 

When the mine shafts come, our team is 10k above in points. So the team really needs to grab some mine shafts to keep the second place. With one big difference too, our team still has two mining sites to take, that's gonna bump us in points as well.Jack and hubby race for the mine shafts. Hubby walked fast, but NBe team attacked and got there first. Jack also was running fast, and got it. Reinforce people. 2 seconds later, Jack got kicked. The situation is looking dire now. No mine shafts. The team needs to shift gear.

Hubby went for a mine shaft and locked one in, everyone sped in troops. So one mine shaft is secured. Jack decides to rally a mine shaft. By the time his rally was ready, the points were gone.

In the end, Heaven smiled at her team, she was so proud of them not giving up from the start. They saw that sticking together, and trying to play, paid out for them. The odds of survival of this round or arena was not in their favor, it was literally stacked against them. Somehow the teams showed up, and rose to second place, like the pro’s they are. 

The battlefield turned back to the frozen empty ground like it was before the round started. The starbucksGang’s season of arena has only just begun, but so far so good. Heaven was hopeful for the future rounds in this season. This might be the best season they ever had!
