All Out War - Second week

First week you can check here: https://forum.gtarcade.com/topic/253140

While in the first week anything was possible, even though RoD interfered as much as they could, in the second week their dominance in every aspect of the event was already evident. No one would have thought at the beginning that a few players could have such an impact on the game of hundreds of players. It was very strange, but on the other hand, it is one of the best alliances with the currently strongest player.

Seeing what was happening and the total helplessness of everyone, I focused a little more on healing and supporting our and other players in my fraction. I knew that my army wouldn't do much here, so I decided to support the stronger players. Surprisingly, I really liked this role and quickly rose to first place in terms of healing and support points. At one point, I was even third among the best support players from all factions. Since I couldn't be at the forefront in the elimination round, at least I had some fun here.

The following days were not much different from each other. We managed to break through a little and capture a few buildings from our opponents. We couldn't go any further because everything was blocked by RoD. Fighting them was pointless. Even the leaders decided that we wouldn't declare war on them for more buildings, but would fight our neighbors instead. It was definitely more fun than a one-sided result.

What was happening in the middle of the map was irrelevant to us, and in fact, it was irrelevant to any of the other 7 factions. RoD took over the entire center, and there was no way to even get close to it. It turned out to be a very one-sided game, so the other factions fought each other to make the game more enjoyable.

Every day looked the same. Gathering resources, declaring war on unblocked buildings, and capturing them. As soon as we captured too much, RoD appeared and sometimes helped our opponents. With all this chaos, at some point we fell to last place, even though we had been second in the qualifiers the whole time. The inability to develop and capture buildings deeper into the map severely limited us, especially in terms of scoring points.

In the middle of the week, several people gave up on further play, which further worsened the mood among us and lowered morale. Some of the players were only doing daily tasks to earn points and receive rewards. Unfortunately, that's not how it was supposed to be.

Boredom – My euphoria during healing and helping others also diminished. I did the same thing every day, and even though I wanted to participate in the fight, someone from RoD would often show up and spoil the fun. A few times I joined a rally organized by someone from the alliance, and those were the only points I earned for fighting. I wanted more 😊

At the end of the week, it became increasingly difficult to earn points for healing. There weren't many fights left, because there was nothing to fight for. Some people staged fights just to keep things going or to earn a few more elimination points.

 Summary:

The first week was very interesting. From the beginning, it looked very cool, with lots of factions and lots of players, so lots of fun. Unfortunately, after a few days, everything was already clear, and the second week showed that one team dictates the terms here and the other seven factions have no say.

The map was completely dominated. It was impossible to leave your area in the second week. All that remained was fighting with your neighbors, as long as there was no blockade on the attack.

As for the alliance points ranking, RoD scored as many points in each category as the other seven alliances combined. Total domination, but is that what this type of event should be about?

In the case of the individual ranking, there are no surprises here. Elimination – the top 10 are players from RoD, followed by others such as [GJs]Biet, [TFI]DeGeNeRaTe, and our best player [NoS]Wiśnia, who was only 13th.

I, on the other hand, am very happy with my result. Maybe not in the qualifiers, because I knew from the very beginning that I had no chance, but in healing and support, I ultimately landed in 8th place among players from all factions, and took first place in my own fraction. It's a small success, but at least I was useful for something. In terms of gathering resources or building vehicles, it's an average result, but you can't focus on everything 😊

As I wrote earlier, this is not my favorite event, but after this edition, it will probably fall even lower. No one expected the game to be so uneven and that a few players would change everything so much. I hope that in the future, the developers will work on preventing such situations from happening again. Instead of a fun event, it turned into a week of fighting and a week of struggling and waiting for it all to end. It's a shame because it could have been really fun.

Finally, I wanted to show off the prizes I managed to win.

For our faction's sixth place, I won:

For first place in healing and support in my faction, I won:

For the intra-faction eliminations, I also received:

These are definitely very cool prizes, especially for such a long event. I hope you enjoy it 😊
