The last invasion left scars on my army, not scars from the battle itself, but fear. Entering a battlefield, invading enemy territory, and fighting to the death is an easy task; my men are used to living in the middle of chaos. But when the atmosphere is filled with suspense, when the battlefield turns silent, and you do not know what is coming, fear consumes even the strongest of men.
The invasion of Kingdom 247 brought that fear to the surface. The attacks were highly successful, but the feeling of being watched and knowing that we could have been ambushed at any moment created immense tension. We all knew that BDR and DaC were there, and only the bravest hunters would have been able to complete that mission. In the end, my men proved their worth, and we left that kingdom with our duty fulfilled.
“My lord, our men are ready for a new invasion. The hospital is empty, and we have gathered enough resources for the next hunt. But I feel that something is different. We need something lighter this time,” said Robert, my right-hand man, still traumatized by the last invasion.
He was right, but I cannot afford to let good targets slip away and do nothing. I want to become one of the most feared hunters in Westeros, and ignoring targets will not help me achieve that goal. I sent letters to my spies. I was ready for a new invasion.
And it did not take long before I received a reply.

It was not exactly what my army was looking for, but it was a great target. The NTC alliance is known for being made up of bow players, but that target was an exception. Shinobi had cavalry commanders and cavalry troops on his defense. Breaking that wall would be a difficult task.
I analyzed the situation with Robert, my right-hand man, before the invasion. A few days earlier, Ganicus had been in that kingdom and attacked ToFu, leaving him in ruins.
“Things are not the same anymore since Ganicus was here. People are more careful with their bubbles, and the kingdom protectors are more alert, ready to act.”
I knew the risks, and the new information made me tense, but it was too late to turn back because I had already entered the kingdom. And to avoid being consumed by fear, I launched the first attack without even calculating the risks.

The first impact was hard. Shinobi had a solid defense with the right commanders, which made his defense successful, eliminating more than 180 thousand of my men, including around 50 thousand T5 troops, while he lost only T1 units. If the battle had ended there, Shinobi would have won. But luckily, he was not online to activate his bubble.
I was afraid. Reinforcements or traps could arrive at any moment. I healed my troops quickly, changed my position, and launched the second attack, this time expecting a better result.

The second attack brought me a second hard defeat. Losing 155 thousand men in a battle is always very difficult, especially when you realize you only eliminated T1 soldiers from the enemy.
That attack shook my army’s confidence. Losing around 350 thousand men in two attacks made me question whether it was worth continuing or not. Fortunately, I still had enough men to replace the troops I had lost, but I could not afford to waste any more men. The next attack should be better calculated.
Knowing that Shonobi won’t have a full wall anymore, I launched one more attack… the third one, hoping for a better result.

After analyzing the report more closely, Robert noticed that all of Shinobi’s T1 and T2 soldiers had been eliminated in the previous attack, which made this attack easier. This time, my losses were minimal, while Shinobi lost almost all of his remaining troops.
The invasion was still not complete. Shinobi was still hiding with the remaining troops inside his fortress. But a problem appeared. More than five players from the NTC began to move, and together they were searching for me. On top of that, a bow trap dropped its bubble right next to Shinobi.
My heart started beating faster. I had too many men inside my castle, and I would not be able to hide them all. That was when I made a decision.
I launched one final attack before I could be captured or before Shinobi could activate his bubble.

The final attack ended that wave of assaults. Shinobi lost all of his remaining troops, and his lord was captured. But the invasion was not over. I was found several times, my coordinates were often posted in global chat, and even when I changed my location, I was tracked with ease.
The next 15 minutes were pure tension. NTC was hunting me at full speed, and I feared being caught.
Many times, they came close, but I was faster and changed my location again. And when those 15 minutes finally passed, I sent a message in global chat.
“NTC, this time I won, but I will be back, and I challenge you to try to capture me once again!”
That was an open provocation, almost a declaration of war. Even though I lost many soldiers while attacking Shinobi, I like it when my enemies react and seek revenge. And soon, I will return to this kingdom.
