Camie On K310

Camie did not hunt for attention anymore because she had already reached the top of the merit rankings. But that did not mean she was done with the game. If anything being at the top made her even hungrier for more fights. She hunted for the fun and for the merit points and to keep her name at the very top of the list where everyone could see it. She was calm and she was confident and she was very experienced with how the mechanics worked. When she saw a target on the map she did not doubt herself. She just went for it without asking anyone for permission. She liked the feeling of the port and the way the map looked when she found an unbubbled castle.

She spent a lot of time scrolling through different kingdoms and looking for anyone who forgot to put up a bubble. It was a routine for her now. She would check the big alliances first and then look at the smaller ones. This kind of knowledge only comes from months of being on the hunt every single day. She kept her gear ready and her talents set for war at all times so she never had to waste seconds changing things when a target appeared.

In kingdom 310 Camie spotted two unbubbled targets right next to each other. This was a lucky find for any hunter. The first was Sir Freddie from the 1HR alliance. He was a cavalry player with all troop tiers except for T5. He was wearing rebel gear and he had no meatshield to protect his core troops. The second was WhiteDawwg from the BTa alliance. He was a spear player with a very similar setup. He also had rebel gear and no T5 troops in his castle. Both were big targets and both were worth the risk. Camie moved fast and got ready to hit before they could react or put a shield up. She checked her march speed and made sure her commanders were correct for the first hit.

Camie decided to attack Sir Freddie first. She ported in close to his position so the travel time would be short. The first solo hit landed clean on the castle. It was enough to do some serious damage to his wall and his front line but it was not enough to finish him off. Camie stayed calm and pulled her troops back. She checked the report to see how many troops he had left. She knew the job was not done yet and she prepared the second hit immediately.

Sir Freddie changed his gear after the first hit. He put on his fight gear to try and stop her. Camie saw the gear change on the map. She did not care if he had better stats now and she did not overthink it. She just sent the second solo march at him. She was confident in her army. The hit landed and the troops were destroyed and she took his lord. Sir Freddie was zeroed out. She finished the job just like she planned to do. She did not have heavy losses.

Camie did not waste any time. She turned her attention to WhiteDawwg who was still unbubbled and waiting nearby. He had not moved even though his neighbour had just been hit. She sent the first solo hit and she hit him hard. The target still stood after the first march came back but the report showed the troops were badly damaged. Camie felt that rush of adrenaline but she stayed composed. She knew she was very close to getting the second lord. She refreshed the map to make sure no one was porting in to reinforce him.

The second hit on WhiteDawwg came quickly. Camie did not hesitate for a single second. The attack landed and the defenses gave up. The troops were destroyed and the lord was captured. WhiteDawwg was zeroed and Camie finished the second target cleanly. She watched the flames on both castles and felt the satisfaction of a good hunt. She checked her merit total and saw it had jumped significantly. Her comrades were happy and the chat was moving fast with the fresh reports.

Camie got 40 million merit for that trip to kingdom 310. Two big targets and two zeros was a good result for her. It was another step to keep her number one spot on the leaderboards. She did not need to prove anything but she still hunted like she had to. She liked the competition and she liked the way the game worked. For her the hunt was never really over. She ported back home and put a bubble up to rest. She would be back on the map tomorrow looking for more always. Her name stayed at the top and that was what she wanted!
