The autumn is starting to set in; Westeros is already moving on the month of September and the last round of Siege of Winterfell season 16 it's about to start. After 5 rounds, [N0X] managed to win against [WAO], [TQL] and [NCR] and lost against [FFS] and [UTB]. With a 3-2 score they are keeping a very slim chance to qualify for the Siege of Winterfell playoffs, but any chance is a chance, right? For that however they would need to get a max points difference win, so the leadership took the 2 days between round 5 and round 6 and tried to do the best possible offensive strategy in order to get the maximum points possible and have the best chance on qualifying. They had to make a few difference strategies with different rosters for each building; each tailored for any of the possible opponents they could get. That took most of the 2 days they had for that and once everything was set in place, Scythe registered the alliance for the round, and everyone waited on their toes to see what opponent [N0X] is getting.

The Old Gods choose to give [N0X] some hopes by matching them with [VME], an alliance that was almost equally strong to [N0X] but an alliance that had a few of their strongest people move to bigger alliances that qualified to the playoffs even before the last round. Despite that [VME] still kept quite some strong warriors on their roster and the match was announcing a hard one for [N0X], especially since they had to get a very convincing win. Now that the opponent was knows, the [N0X] leadership got the strategy they had and did a few last-minute polishing on it and then everyone in [N0X] got their best troops and commanders and headed towards the Siege of Winterfell battlefield. Once they arrived there the battlefield gates opened and everyone from both the alliances started joining in, there were so many warriors, each of them bringing millions of troops and it was looking like the battle it's going to be an epic one.

With just a few minutes left before the actual fight, [N0X] was once again at numbers disadvantage so a last call was made within alliance for everyone to join in as the numbers were very important for this fight. Unfortunately, there were no other warriors ready to join and the fight started with [N0X] being 8 warriors less than [VME] so 24 marches disadvantage.
Shado and LadyKnight the [N0X] terrific duo were assigned once again to the Hot Springs area and as soon as battle opened, they mounted their horses along with the rest of the team and rushed towards the springs, determined to get there before the enemy. They managed to beat [VME] by a few seconds and occupied the higher grounds on the springs but then, as [VME] arrived they noticed a problem, [VME] decided to overcome springs and send just a small force towards armory so [N0X] was at a disadvantage on the right side of the battlefield.
A quick call was made by the Hot Springs shotcaller to get immediate reinforces as they were very outnumbered there and the reinforcements responded quickly, as a part of the armory team was already on the way to the Hot Springs. However, till they will arrive the [N0X] springs team had to fight at a severe disadvantage, close to 3 to 1.

They were fighting bravely, not being bothered by the troops falling on the battlefield as they were being resurrected by the priests at [N0X] base instantly and sent back into the fighting. Barely keeping up with the [VME] forces, [N0X] looked at the sunrise and seen a light and then a very large force of [N0X] warriors descending into springs ready to tip the balance of the fight. Within minutes they managed to slowly but surely starting to push [VME] back towards their stronghold, at a great cost though and then [N0X] leadership had a great call to divert more forces from armory and try to flank [VME] from 2 sides. The plan worked up to a point, and they managed to slaughter a lot of the [VME] forces, but they seemed to be like hydras, you cut one head and 2 spawn instead. It was looking like their forces are growing in numbers and within minutes they managed to overcome the [N0X] forces and push back towards the Hot Springs.

15 minutes into the fight, the teams were neck in neck and [N0X] was needing a miracle at this point in order to qualify but they were fighting like this was the 1st round of the season and not the last one, instantly healing and resending to battle as soon as their troops were dead on the battlefield. Seeing that conquering all the bases looks like an impossible task, they decided to fight for the Winterfell supplies and attract most of [VME] to fight for the supplies and maybe manage to take the bases once most of their forces were at the Winterfell.

Bearface was ready to carry the supplies to the destination and as expected a large part of [VME] got distracted by the fight for the supplies and left their bases unguarded. That was the moment that tipped the scales largely in [N0X] favor as they managed to occupy a few of the [VME] bases and somehow, even with a lower force they managed to fight for the supplies valiantly and help Bearface secure the transport. After getting hit on both bases and supplies, [VME] started spinning out of control and they didn't manage to fully recover from the hits, and the points went heavily into [N0X] favor. Securing the first supply was the turning point of the battle and from there [N0X] managed to march towards the win despite [VME]'s opposition. But was the win enough for them to qualify for playoffs?

Unfortunately, not, the 4-2 record they got this season was not enough for them to qualify, they ended up on 25th place, under 100 ranking points from the 12th place, the last one that qualifies for playoffs. Despite that, they managed to save the season on the last 2 rounds and everyone on the alliance got some good rewards out of it, but next season they have to do better and win at least 5 rounds if they want to qualify. Will they be able to do that? We'll have to wait and see. See you all on the battlefield!
