Lords and Ladies, its finally here, the Grand Finale of Ultimate Conquest A-League. We have the two best teams in all of Westeros facing each other for the chance of being crowned Champions of Westeros. Firstly, we have TFI led by the cunning DiEhArD, he believes his opponents used their last outing to scout TFI’s strengths and weaknesses but he still believes his team can go undefeated in season 21. Their opponents are iDk led by the powerhouse Ghost RiDeR, he gained intel in Round 6 from TFI and believes he will take what is rightfully his. Only one shall emerge as the Champion of Westeros, will it be the undefeated TFI or the crafty iDk?

DiEhArD uncovered the secrets behind Ghost RiDeR in round 6, “he’s one of the Faceless Men, they use every trick in the book, I suspect this will be the closest game of the season but in the end the result will remain the same,” DiEhArD had survived an encounter with the Faceless Men and vowed to take his vengeance. Ultimate Conquest comes down to racing for structures on the map and holding them for points, most teams will swap in a stronger warrior to make it harder for their opponent to recapture the structure. Furthermore, the additional buildings you hold the more buffs you will receive and subsequently the harder it will be for the enemy to take the buildings back. “We all know round 6 was a ploy to gain intel but we didn’t show them everything,” varr was second in command and didn’t want to admit to himself that he feared iDk.

Varr was known as “Big Boy” in the TFI camp but that title came with responsibility and it was starting to show with his inner doubts, “we didn’t learn anything about our opponents, what surprises will arise and how will we deal with them,” varr was fighting himself, no longer did he have the same skip in his step during the season, now he was showing he was mortal like the rest of us. Is this the moment TFI’s undefeated streak dies or will varr find his strength when it matters most?

On the other hand, Ghost RiDeR was beaming with confidence, “we sent one of our Faceless Men into their camp and slipped something into their races tea, I suspect we will be winning every race this match,” Ghost RiDeR had gained the names of TFI’s racers in round 6 and this was just part of his grand plan to win the Grand Finale. “They have no idea what’s coming and when they finally figure it out, it will be too late,” AnotherPup was second in command and was being trained by Ghost RiDeR himself. The final battle is here, will the Faceless Men prevail or will DiEhArD hand down justice and have his vengeance?

Finally, both teams entered the battlefield with TFI not understanding the predicament they were in,” my eyes are twitchy for some reason, “one of the racer’s in TFI proclaimed, “get over it, you have a job to do,” DiEhArD could only see red, he ignored his racer’s pleas, as both sides got ready for the first races of the match. The race began and unlike last time it was iDk who would be celebrating 3 out of 4 buildings under their control. “Who is efiko, he wasn’t on the list of TFI racers, no matter we got the rest of them,” AnotherPup knew it was only a matter of time before they took the Targaryen Outpost since it was so close to their hive. “Seriously I have blurred vision, I couldn’t even the building I was racing for,” ZombieQueen was another racer for TFI proclaiming something was wrong. “The Faceless Men are behind this, they got our racers, we can’t rely on winning the races this match, we have to get the buildings the old-fashioned way,” varr knew the Faceless Men were formidable but didn’t expect them to do this. “Once the bubble for the Temple of the Warrior is down, we will rally it, that is our main objective for now,” DiEhArD wasn’t going to let the iDk steal the win from him, he was going to use his mind, the same mind that guided his team to an undefeated run in Ultimate Conquest thus far.

The Targaryen Outpost was the only possible target for iDk, “they are rallying the Temple of the Warrior, we will reply with rallies on the Targaryen Outpost,” Ghost RiDeR knew they could lose the Temple of the Warrior but was unfazed as their lead grew with every passing minute. “Send the rallies, while they go, I need solo attacks on the Lannister Outpost, he not very strong, we can take it easily,” DiEhArD ever an opportunist used the defense of the Temple of the Warrior as a decoy to slowly solo down the Lannister Outpost. In the end it was TFI that came out on top by trading one building for two, they took the Temple of the Warrior plus the Lannister Outpost while only losing the Targaryen Outpost in return. “We have slowed down their points but they have a lead because of the first capture points, the ports are about to open, be ready for those,” varr could only hope what ever their racers were under would slowly dissipate during the match. “Dam we lost the Lannister Outpost as well, they won’t go silently into the night, this is going to be a real match,” Ghost RiDeR still had his head up high, these small infractions were nothing, he still had tricks under his sleeve.

The time had come for the ports to open, “racers I don’t know what they did to you but try your best,” varr was still feeling uneasy especially when he looked at the score and saw iDk in the lead. The race began once again and as predicted iDk won both races to the ports, “the larger our lead becomes the more doubt will creep into their minds, fill the ports, we have to defend them before Casterly Rock opens,” Ghost RiDeR’s plan involved him keeping one port and securing Casterly Rock to obtain enough points so his side only needed one mine to win the match. “They may not have only targeted our racers, keep an eye out on the person to your side, the Faceless Men are masters of deception,” DiEhArD quickly made the call to rally the Targaryen Port and use it to pull the focus of iDk while “Big Boy” and others solo out the Lannister Port. “My diversionary tactics worked with the Temple of the Warrior, it may work again, “DiEhArD didn’t waste a second, as soon as the rallies were full, they were sent. “Here they come watch the Targaryen Port, don’t forget the Lannister Port as well,” AnotherPup could only watch as both ports were taken systematically but iDk could stabilise if they could capture Casterly Rock.

All eyes would turn to Casterly Rock, “both ports being lost is big but we can take one port back, I suggest we target Targaryen Port as its closest to us,” AnotherPup had no doubt in his mind that Casterly Rock would be theirs. As the race began Ghost RiDeR would lock eyes with DiEhArD, “I told you we always get our target,” Ghost RiDeR then glanced back to Casterly Rock which was safely under their control. “Now we start rallies on the Targaryen Port, we need more pressure on them, their morale must be shot by now,” AnotherPup could sense the tides shifting in their favor but he wouldn’t allow himself to think the match was over just yet. “They got Casterly Rock and have started rallies on the Targaryen Port, we should repond with our own rallies on Casterly Rock when the bubble drops,” varr could see his hands shaking, he wondered to himself if he was also affected in the same way that the racers were. In the end iDk would capture the Targaryen Port and defend Casterly Rock, giving them a huge advantage leading into the final half of the match.

With 38 minutes remaining the lead for iDk was over 7k points, TFI needed something big to catch up,” continue the rallies on Casterly Rock, they can’t hold on forever, “varr needed to step up so while his team rallied Casterly Rock he was solo attacking the Targaryen Port, trying to bleed out his opponents. “I see the Targaryen Port is low on troops, ill start a rally to time it with varr, let’s see if we can sneak it,” MLKSnoW could see iDk were struggling to hold on to Casterly Rock and this was the time to strike. In the matter of 2 minutes both Casterly Rock and the Targaryen Port would change hands and it was now TFI in the driving seat. “What just happened, they just keep coming,” AnotherPup couldn’t believe his eyes, losing two crucial buildings back-to-back was unthinkable. “No matter, our lead is big, the mines are where we will make our final push,” Ghost RiDeR was calm, as if he knew what was about to happen.

The time had come for the most crucial part of the match, “which ever mine they rally, we will use our stratagem to bubble it and waste more time for them,” Ghost RiDeR was so confident his racers would win, he was thinking a few steps ahead. Once again as the race began, Ghost RiDeR locked eyes with DiEhArD and shouted “Valar Morghulis,” and he was right to be confident as both mines were under the control of iDk. “Start rallies on the Lannister Mine, we need to take them quickly, the match is even but they can quickly gain enough points if left inside the mines,” varr was less shaky then earlier on in the match but doubts would enter his mind once again as the stratagem was used to bubble the Lannister Mine before the rallies could hit. “Change target, begin rallies on the Targaryen Mine, they no longer have that trick under their sleeve,” DiEhArD wasn’t going to be foiled by the Faceless Men, he had come too far to be bested at the final hurdle.

With the final 18 minutes remaining could iDk hang on long enough or would TFI show their class when it matters the most. “I will target the Lannister Mine, while the rest of you target the Targaryen Mine, lets make them choose which one to defend,” varr had enough of these Faceless Men, his hands no longer shaking, he began his onslaught on the Lannister Mine. “I’ve survived your kind before and I’ll survive this day as well,” DiEhArD sent his men forward as the rallies crashed into the Targaryen Mine, as the dust settled it was TFI who would be celebrating taking the Targaryen Mine and perhaps securing the win. “Valar Morghulis,” was the scream as varr’s rally obliterated the defenses of the Lannister Mine and there was now a new occupant in the Lannister Mine. “Both mines gone so quickly, they are formidable, even after we tampered with their racers, “ Ghost RiDeR saw the writing was on the wall and uttered his final words of the match towards DiEhArD, “ we will meet again and this time you won’t see it coming,” Ghost RiDeR made his promise to DiEhArD but as always DiEhArD had the last laugh by leading his team to victory in the Grand Finale of Ultimate Conquest.

As the final minutes ticked away TFI celebrated their undefeated run in A-League, “we knew the first time we met, they were playing dead but I didn’t expect it to be so close, quick thinking in the end and some outstanding solo performances meant they were doomed to lose,” DiEhArD got what he came for, the title was his but he couldn’t shake off the thought that he was being watched. “They really gave us our toughest match of the season, when they bubbled the first mine, I thought we had lost but we never gave up,” varr was proud of his team and his own growth, his nerves had the best of him at the beginning but he slowly grew into a leader by the end of the match.
On the other side of the battlefield iDk couldn’t believe how they lost in the final minutes of the match,” the mines were ours, we had the lead for most of the match and here we are staring defeat in the face,” AnotherPup was down but he knew he would get another chance next season and he would be hungrier than ever before. Ghost RiDeR didn’t talk at all after the defeat he would just keep his eyes firmly on DiEhArD, his plan was yet uncomplete.
Lords and Ladies this concludes the Grand Finale of Ultimate Conquest Season 21, our Champions of Westeros are TFI but be sure to join us once again as we prepare to open our doors once more for the opening ceremony of Alliance Conquest Season 22.
