Season 3 of Arena of Honor it's coming to an end soon, with just 2 rounds left to play [N0X]OliverQ is looking to get 2 more wins that would maybe probably possibly get him to the Glory King rank. Round 12 went great for him, managing to score a win but he needs to repeat that performance in the last 2 rounds. In the 2 weeks between rounds he did his best to try and improve his troops, commanders and dragons and if with commanders and dragons he managed to do something, unfortunately he's still far away of the valyrian steel weapons needed to upgrade the tier of his troops so for now he's still stuck at tier 4. Time flew by and it was already Sunday; the sun was about to set so it was time for OliverQ to head back to the mercenary camp for another round of solo que. He arrived there a bit after 18:00 and went directly to the registration tavern to sign the papers and then waited patiently for the matchmaking to be done by the Old Gods.

The matchmaking was quickly done, and it was now time for the warriors to step into the battlefield to see for which house they'll fight today. OliverQ was chosen by House Baratheon again to fight on their side and fighting along him there were [WjB]Raks, [WjB]VALON 1, [BTa]AmnEzyja, [SIN]Roninperry, [1KS]feve, [UDZ]PeterTheRock, and [Edf]YOGYs.

Once he got to know his team, they all headed towards the North-East forests of the battlefield where House Baratheon's clan castle is located and upon arriving there, everyone set their camps around the castle and prepared for battle. OliverQ took the last few minutes of preparation phase to send some spies and see what the other houses are up to.
The information returned by the spies were quite troublesome, some houses invited premade teams again, but that didn't discourage OliverQ as he was set to try and repeat the win from the prior round. The time for spying was over as the battle start was announced and the strongholds dropped their protection bubble, so everyone rushed to occupy them and start the timer. Once the 2 minutes required to occupy them has passed, they opened for construction.
Seeing that House Lannister, the house that directly attacks House Baratheon, is building trading posts OliverQ as the commander of House Baratheon for this fight, decided to go with trading posts as well, even knowing that will make keeping City of Glory very complicated. The construction was done just in time as the altars started opening and the real battle started. First few altars were occupied without too much opposition from the other houses, and it was looking like everyone wants to keep their altars but that didn't last long. Once more altars opened the fight for them started and OliverQ was looking for targets of opportunity and it didn't take long until he found one, a fellow bowmen enjoyer. He quickly assembled his solo march and went in for the kill.

The fight between the 2 was very intense and arrows were flying from both sides, each of them wounding troops and ultimately it was OliverQ's higher troop count that decided the win. It is very good to start the round with a win but there was no time for celebration as more and more altars opened, and the fighting got intense. However, House Baratheon had a way worse problem, they didn't notice that Starks managed to occupy Greyjoy's Clan Castle and now their NPC attacks were heading towards House Baratheon's castle, and it didn't take much for it to fall.

Even worse, Starks were on point with reinforces and beside OliverQ nobody in the Baratheon's team didn't try to solo the Clan Castle.

Despite trying multiple times, he didn't manage to kick the massive army residing in the Clan Castle and House Baratheon was left without the castle right when the City of Glory was about to open. For the ones not familiar, if you don't own your Clan Castle, you can't initiate attacks on the City of Glory so unfortunately for them, they were just spectators while doing everything possible to take their Clan Castle back. As soon as the bubble dropped OliverQ tried to solo again and fortunately his team woke up and started their rallies as well in a colective effort to retake the castle.

The rallies were timed decently and OliverQ tried to time his solo with the rallies to try and kick the Starks back to their home.
The efforts finally paid back, the House Baratheon team managed to recover their clan castle just for a bit though, as Starks rallied and kicked OliverQ out of the castle, this time with a way stronger warrior. But when they thought everything is lost, a breakthrough happened, and House Greyjoy managed to take back their clan castle and now the House Stark npc attacks got redirected back to them so Baratheon's could also get their Clan Castle back. With the castle back in their possession they tried to see if they can challenge Starks on the City of Glory too but unfortunately setting up the rallies and deploying them took a bit too much time and the protection bubble on City of Glory took effect. With City of Glory out of the picture, Baratheon's focused on the 2nd best thing they could do, getting the 2nd place in the round, so everyone focused on taking as many altars as they could, especially Altar of the Maiden.

The plan was executed flawlessly and by the end of the round they managed to climb all the ranks they lost while not having the clan castle and ended up exactly where they aimed to.

It was a great round, one where House Baratheon managed to recover from what it looked like a sure defeat. Unfortunately for OliverQ, not getting 1st place in this round means he has to say goodbye to the Glory King rank, but overall, it was a great first season for him and he's eagerly looking for what the next season has to offer. See you all on the battlefield!
