Mad 8th and the racing. DUM vs GJs UC match

In a rainy yet calm day I was doing a daily routine tasks. Expecting pretty much nothing, I was passing the Weirwood Memories stages, doing "Crossing The North" and overall was relaxed and setting myself up to go to sleep. At that moment a friend of mine messaged:

- Hey! We need a pilot for a 01.00 match. She knew well enough that it's a middle of the night for me and took advantage of that - You will be piloting sweet cav rally leader account! So are you up for the match?

Mumbling to myself I took a minute to answer yet shortly said - Sure! And you know I do love playing cav castles! To be honest with myself, I couldn't and didn't want to say "no". At least because I was helping a friend! And of course I truly enjoy piloting big accounts and playing in Super League matches!!

When it was time to enter into the match, I logged into the account I was assigned too, POMECHIKA. As it was mentioned earlier, it's a strong cav rally leader account and the moment I entered it, I knew the account was being taken a good care of. Maybe it even lost it's owner, yet POMECHIKA still was an up to date account that you can login and destroy decent inf account any time.

The match itself was between DUM and GJs. I remembered that every time DUM matched against GJs = DUM always won. Taking into account that 01.00 GMT is not even close to GJs prime time slot, they might just not come to the match at all. And that's exactly what has happened. Only 8 mad lads has joined, some were even in rebel set! Yet what I noticed is that these 8 were all playing the match, and trying to capture buildings overall keeping the battlefield alive! They were outnumbered and still the mad lads gave us a fight and enjoyed the match as much as they could!

When the clock ticked the last second and the match begun, according to plan I raced for the enemy outpost alongside few other not assigned rally leaders. And I won this race! Locking myself from future fun in racing with others I captured the outpost with my main formation and checking opponent accounts I noticed a lot of inf, so holding buildings with cav formation and troops seemed the most reasonable think to do as for DUM.

While I was focused on enemy side outpost, we won the race for every other building: Mother, Warrior and our side outpost. We even managed to do a pretty clean swap in Warrior!

And once the bubble has dropped from Mother, it got soloed and captured by one of the opponents weaklings (the one in rebel leader gear).

At the same time the outpost I was holding on the enemy side was scouted and immediately the same guy who scouted started attacking. Apparently not every GJs's account was an inf castle today, they got one spear and a really whalish spear! The spear understood that the troops in outpost is like a free food next door and started his solo spree:

Something was going on in Mother, we kicked the guy out with few solo attacks, then disbanded the Mother but no one took it and once again enemy retaken it back! Truly the coordination matters a lot, probably it would've been much better if it wasn't the match in the middle of the night!

And the spear guy kept eating troops in my outpost. I wasn't sure what I as a rally leader and holder of the building even should do! And here unexpectedly comes the help - the short-caller says next time I get attacked to disband the building.

I thought about the idea of giving up the building for a moment and quickly realised that this way the enemy spear will get locked there and we will stop feeding him with troops!

Checking how many troops left in the outpost I was waiting for the next attack, but when it happened I realised that I actually was attacked not by the spear-whale, but by some someone else!

Indeed what a mad guys they are...!

Though while GJs attention was drawn in my outpost, our guys did an amazing job capturing both ports! As far as I know - ports are one of the most important buildings because they are giving lots of points!

And as we are outnumbering an opponent so hard we were also successful in returning the Mother! Though in our current situation the spear-whale is not holding any building... I wonder will he be able to solo our best of best rally leaders..?

At the same time we also recaptured enemy outpost and did another swap in enemy port, quickly filling it with troops. Spear-whale definitely should try to solo at least one of this closest buildings! And it's good that both buildings will be filled with spear troops under the control of maxed weakness synergy!

And it looks like my hopes was heard! Lets check the battle report:

Well, if it was a 1v1 battle = Saraer would bring more value than Ayrmidon yet the rally size of NightQueen really makes a difference here and finally Biet took a lose!

Yet he quickly found another target at Mother and started farming.

But not like we cared much about Mother this time especially after taking the most valuable building, Casterly Rock!!

At this moment many gave up on the match and some started going back to their sleep... Yet I wasn't getting it. The match is not finished, opponents are still fighting so I thought that we need to push forward!

Biet finally captured the Mother and i hoped he will stay there for a while and will stop disturbing the battlefield. On our side, short-cacller mentioned to NOT touch the Mother. Either way we are receiving just 40 points per minute from the Mother, and that's really not much!

After Biet captured the Mother and others reinforced, the match has been pretty quite. Some of our guys tried to solo or rally the Biet even though they were clearly told to stop doing it...

It was time for Strongholds to be open and from what i saw, GJs didn't even try to take one!

Well, now we must wait. Wait for what? Of course for bubble drop! With the bubble drop we will start playing Cat&Mouse and if we will = the match will be exiting again!

The moment when bubbles finally dropped didn't disappoint and as fast as i could I started cleaning GJs castles, of corse ignoring the spear guy... after all I have a cav account.

After this small clean-up Biet was still untouched yet others has healed a bit and we begun to play the cat and mouse, game of will we catch them or let live for a few more moments. Most of the times GJs marches was fast, yet I managed to bite some of them!

Few minutes after bubble drop I found out that Bien was rallied and it was a pretty successful rally! I mean, at least we got his points!

Nothing really happened on mines, though I managed to get 1 of them and continued to cosplay the cat and play with the GJs! My main intension beside having fun was to get top 1 by eliminations amongst DUM.

Closer to the end of the match I was holding first place in Elimination Point ranking with a good amount of points between me and second place, so I decided to afk for a few minutes.

Little did I know that staying afk is not acceptable in competitive games and matches, even like this one!

After returning to my PC I checked the rankings and realised that I wasn't the holder of the first place in elimination ranking and was a bit disappointed by this fact...

Next time... Next time DUM are facing HD! again. Next time I will account every mistake I made today and will do even better!
