Round 10 of the third season of Arena of Honor was about to begin. Killer Marta was returning to the team she had committed to this season, after having played the previous round with a different team. The reason was simple: her original team hadn't competed in the last round due to a scheduling conflict. Now, back with her original squad, expectations were high.
The team comprised Lady Lights as captain, Torsta, Korfus, Wal, nick79, Whisperz, Lugon, Killer Marta, and two new members from Killer Marta’s clan who joined to complete the ten necessary members. The newcomers were AOh and CoronA, who had shown solid performances in previous battles and arrived motivated to contribute their best in such an important round.

Arena of Honor is a competitive event where a minimum of seven and a maximum of ten players form a faction to face off against other factions on a map. Scattered across this map are various buildings that offer different advantages. Each minute these buildings are held grants points to the faction controlling them. At the end of a one-hour battle, the faction with the most points is declared the winner of that round and receives a set amount of event coins, which can later be exchanged for items in the special event store.

Before the battle began, Killer Marta gathered the team to talk tactics. This time, she returned with a clearer head than ever. Having played the last round with a highly experienced team had given her valuable tools—both tactical and mental—that she now wanted to apply to her group. Her message was clear: few commands, but direct and effective.
She laid out the priorities. The first objective was the trade posts, as these buildings granted the most points per minute. The second was to secure the maiden towers in their area since these towers further increased the points gained through the trade posts. As a third objective, they would also try to take the maiden towers located in other factions' zones. Capturing them would not only add more points but also prevent their rivals from benefiting.
The fourth goal was to control the mines, which also provided a significant number of points. Lastly, and most ambitiously, came the conquest of the City of Glory. However, Killer Marta made an important clarification: if at any point it became unsustainable to hold the city, they had to abandon it quickly to avoid wasting time and resources that could be better spent elsewhere. She recalled past mistakes when clinging too tightly to that building had cost them dearly and led to a low ranking.
Finally, the event opened. Killer Marta and her teammates entered the battlefield. Upon arrival, she scanned their opponents and was pleasantly surprised: there were no maxed-out accounts. At last, it looked like a fair matchup. The map was well-balanced, and all signs pointed to an evenly matched battle.
When the countdown hit zero, Killer Marta and her team rushed to build the trade posts. This initial task is usually straightforward—eliminate enemy troops and reinforce the building to speed up construction. And so they did. Their coordination was precise and smooth as if they had been playing together much longer.

Next came the second advanced line. The strategy was the same: clear out enemy troops and reinforce for quick construction. They executed this with the same efficiency and secured the second line without major setbacks. The first objective was officially achieved.

The event pressed on, and now it was time to focus on the second goal: the maiden towers. Killer Marta and her team wasted no time and moved towards the towers. Simultaneously, they kept capturing additional towers, maintaining constant pressure. With all the towers in their area under control, Killer Marta decided it was time to take the next step: attack the opponents’ towers. Although rivals resisted, several well-coordinated attacks allowed Killer Marta to seize key towers from them.

Excitement was growing. This was starting to look like a truly seasoned team. They were meeting objectives with discipline and organization. Battles came one after another, nonstop. Kill after kill, victory after victory, the team secured all the towers in their zone. But the pace became frenetic—the more buildings they held, the more attacks they faced from rival factions attempting to take them back. There wasn’t a moment to rest.
Yet the team remained focused. Every attempt by the rivals to retake a tower was countered swiftly and effectively. Their defense was solid, communication flowed, and no one let their guard down.

Over 30 minutes had passed. Killer Marta and her team were contending for first place. However, the match was so tight that any faction could still end up winning—or finishing last. There was no room for relaxation. Every second mattered.
Then, the City of Glory opened. Killer Marta and her team didn’t hesitate—they captured it quickly. Once inside and reinforced, chaos erupted. The attacks came in relentlessly. Killer Marta was stunned: she had never experienced so many consecutive assaults. It was madness.
The team did what they could with reinforcements, but with one minute and thirty seconds left to consolidate, they were overwhelmed. Despite improvements in strategy and defenses, Killer Marta still struggled heavily against infantry attacks, as her specialty was spear units. With so many simultaneous hits, the defense became unsustainable. Remembering the pre-battle agreement, they decided to abandon the city and refocus on other objectives.

They turned their attention back to the maiden towers—still under their control—and to scoring points from the mines. This strategic decision allowed them to retain a significant number of points and secure second place at the end of the match.

this team had taken. When she and Lady Lights founded it, it had been a group with barely level 3 troops and no experience. And today, they had surprised her. They had given a true lesson in gameplay, showing a level of maturity and coordination that left this chronicler speechless and thoroughly impressed.
