In any structured competitive system, whether in a digital or real-life environment, personal commitments and limitations often clash with the demands of the organization. At 7 p.m. server time, the matchmaking for the highly anticipated Siege of Champion City was set. Vanette, a member of the WxC group, was assigned to fight for Inexorable Fortress during the final round of the event. However, a setback arose: Vanette couldn't participate full-time, as more important obligations required his attention. The situation was further complicated by the absence of his friend Dargoth, who faced the same restrictions. Adding to this was another obstacle: Latrasil, his usual battle partner, couldn't support him this time either. Although willing, their participation was impossible due to a tag mismatch between their accounts, which, had they appeared together under the same faction, would have generated suspicion or even conflict within the community. Thus, Vanette faced not only a struggle within the event, but also the inevitable tensions between the game, the rules, and real life.

Despite personal difficulties and key absences, Vanette made the decision not to leave her place empty. She knew that her presence, however limited, could make a difference. Upon entering the battlefield, she noticed something unexpected but encouraging: a tag called RaF, under which several members of her coalition were grouped. This coincidence offered her a legitimate way to join the fray without violating internal rules. Within this formation, the roles were already defined: TARDIS, if she assumed leadership of the defense, would lead the cavalry; Env0y and KING BELIAL would take charge of the infantry; and Only Kaiser would reinforce the line with lancers. All the necessary units were covered, forming a solid defense for the Inexorable Fortress.

However, they were not alone in their objective. At the other end of the field, a rival tag had formed under the name MAD, an emerging alliance made up of members of the BDR and RoD clans. Their goal was identical: to conquer the Inexorable Fortress. The confrontation, beyond names and symbols, was no longer just a clash of forces, but a struggle between wills, strategies, and adaptations to adversity. Vanette, with his decision, aligned himself with a basic principle: when circumstances are imperfect, determination is everything.

The siege began Denkura took the fortress inexorably, he was faster than us.... now we have to arm many rallies to try to get him out, Tardis tries to attack with her cavalry but is annihilated, to which she warns the coalition that Denkura has lancers in the fortress, so she decides to change to lancers and the rest of the players decide that a strong lancer or infantry would be ideal to attack said fortress.

The next to attack was Only Kaiser, who decided to go with lancers, the attack was a success, although somewhat close, since he did not completely annihilate Denkura's lancers, noting the clear difference between Jaime and the Grey Worm... if the situation were the other way around, not even a defense would be won.

After the partial fall of the fortress, the RaF-led coalition found itself faced with a dilemma: advance on unstable ground or retreat and lose the initiative. It was then that Tardis, known for his unpredictable strategy, took command of the offensive. Under the cover of a sudden thunderstorm, he organized a lightning counterattack from the eastern flank, an area Denkura had deemed impossible to traverse. The troops crossed ravines and smoking ruins, surprising the remaining forces still trying to reorganize inside the fortress. The hand-to-hand combat lasted for hours. Flames and screams mingled with the clang of steel. In an unexpected twist, Denkura reappeared leading a final elite group, challenging Tardis in direct combat. The battle was fierce, and although Denkura managed to wound him, Tardis prevailed, claiming the fortress as a symbol of his alliance's resilience.

With the fortress finally secured, Env0y was the first to raise his banner atop the blackened walls. His infantry took control of the towers and began stabilizing the bastion. However, the rules of the conflict were clear: his primary tag already had a previously crowned champion. Therefore, he could not claim the title of conqueror once again. Victory had to serve a greater purpose: to consolidate the coalition's dominance and allow another tag to achieve glory.

Thus, in a strategic and symbolic gesture, Env0y ceded occupation to Tardis. His tag had yet to taste the title of champion conqueror, and this was the ideal moment. Tardis, wounded but standing after the final duel with Denkura, was proclaimed the rightful occupant. The gesture further united the alliance and reinforced the common purpose that had brought them there.

I was unable to witness the occupation process of the battle because I had withdrawn, but through the battle I was able to learn about the inexorable struggle for the fortress, due to my limited time...

It was a very difficult battle for both sides, but in the end the coalition won...
