This is the untold story about the battle of the narrow sea, a battle that has been forgotten over time… at that time, a young experienced commander VERM of the alliance of House of Dragons where one of the central figures in that battle. The young commander has experienced countless of battles, but never at sea while he swung his trusted spear. The Queen of the Seven Kingdoms Daenerys Targaryen gathered hundreds of ships at the Harbor, as they where about to sail out to defeat the Greyjoys. In this battle VERM where also an officer of his own ship, while he had six trusted commanders under him, Jamie, Drake, Patelo, Daena, Baelish and lastly Ayrmidion. All of them had abilities that surpassed even the most experienced knights, but never had they fought at war on water as well…

Daenerys had ordered us to meet with the guards of Daeron’s fleet at Dragonstone Lighthouse, as the large fleet of the Ironborn where anchored here. We sailed out from the Harbor and within a few days we arrived at Dragonstone Lighthouse, where to our surprise the Daeron Fleet where already engaging in them, as black smoke could be seen from miles away. However, we quickly joined the battle with Drake taking charge, as he was an old sailor and knew sea warfare.

The first attack was on an Ironborn ship that was filled with Royal Bowmen, which could be characterized as T4, which were the same level as our troops. However, with the weak setup of Jamie as the Lead, he could swiftly cut down the enemy troops while activating the synergies of the other commanders, due to several years of fighting together. Daena activated her strongest attack known as the Butterfly’s Blessing, due to her beautiful appearance, but deadly strike. The battle ended quite fast, but there were still an endless horde of Ironborn ships.

We quickly went towards a new ship while we crashed into them with our strong iron front. Breaking apart their ships one after one. But suddenly a stronger ship crashed into ours and hundreds of spearmen can cavalrymen jumped onboard our ship. A large crash of steel and screams were vibrating across the battlefield and could be heard miles away at sea. Patelo swung his spear around while easily taking the enemies down and Peter Baelish where holding on with Jamie and VERM at the bridge. The bridge where important not to lose. If the enemy took the bridge they would control the ship. We knew that. Jamie shouted orders while his sword danced between blood and fire. VERM held the line without stepping back, his spear moving like it had its own will. Peter Baelish was wounded but still standing. He fought like a rat in a corner, dirty but alive.Daena was above us now, using the ropes and masts like wings. She moved fast, hitting only once but every strike ended a life. Her cloak moved like the wind itself. Drake yelled from the helm, “We need to break free or we sink!” Ayrmidion answered by throwing two fire bombs onto the enemy ship. The blast shook the sea and flames burst across their deck. But they didn’t fall back….

They kept coming and it was no normal ship. This was a command ship and one of their strongest. I saw it then with A black banner with a yellow kraken. That was Lord Euron Greyjoy’s own flag. The real fight had just started. Drake turned the wheel hard and screamed, “Brace!” Our ship twisted, scraping along the enemy side. Wood snapped. Chains broke. Some of their soldiers fell into the sea. Then Patelo jumped across, alone. He landed like a hammer and started fighting them on their own deck. We had to follow as we couldn’t leave him. VERM leaped next. Jamie and Daena right after. I stayed at the bridge with Peter for one second more. “Go,” he said, “I’ll cover.” I nodded and followed. Their ship was chaos. It was bigger, darker. But we fought through it. Daena used her Butterfly’s Blessing again and light poured out of her strike. Ayrmidion used his last bomb to blow the gate open. Inside we saw Greyjoy himself. Huge. Covered in steel with eyes red like blood as he roared and charged. VERM stepped forward. No words. Just the clash. Steel on steel. Spear against axe.

The fight shook the ship. All men around died like flies as ships sank, and the sea cried. But VERM didn’t fall. He dodged and moved like fire. Then he thrust his spear through Greyjoy’s chest. The enemy froze as their ship burned to the ground and we jumped back to ours just in time. Flames swallowed them. And finally we saw the lighthouse. It was still standing. We moved toward it, tired and bloody. We reached the lighthouse and climbed it step by step as the wind howled and the sea still burned behind us. VERM raised the banner of the House of Dragons at the top. The sky opened and light came through the clouds. We had won. This was the battle of the narrow sea. This was what they forgot. But we never did.
