After having to miss our second round match in this Siege of Winterfell season due to personal commitments, in which my teammates scored a big and secure victory, the match in which I return to our team in a big way has arrived! But judging by the results so far, it might have been wiser not to play this match either... I still remember the completely wrong decision I made in our first match, which resulted in our defeat, while in the second round, in which I was unable to participate, my teammates scored a secure victory. This was exactly why this match was important to me - I had to try to justify the trust my teammates placed in me when they let me organize our matches and prove to them that the fatal mistake I made in the first round would not happen again. In addition, if we win this match, we only need one more win in the remaining three to fulfill the goal we set for ourselves at the beginning of the season, which was to reach three wins in the season! I was hoping that we wouldn't face a tough opponent...

And we got the perfect opponent! Even though they have several strong players, they are still nominally weaker than us, which puts us in the role of favorites! We haven't been in this position of being big favorites against someone for a long time, the last time it happened was a few seasons ago when we were still playing in the A - League...

I knew absolutely nothing about our opponent today, but even though we are big favorites in this match, we must not let our concentration drop and we must play as seriously as possible from the start of the match, without calculations!

The preparations for the match went at the usual pace - we again agreed that we would divide into two groups, one of which would go towards Armory and the other would go towards Hot Springs. We also agreed that I would lead the group that would go towards Hot Springs since we noticed that the opponents were positioned as if they were going towards Hot Springs, so we had to have the strongest players at that Castle in order to immediately start dominating the match from the start. Paul will lead the second group of players and they will go towards Armory. After the initial battles - as always, the agreement is to head to Winterfell and start the fight for the Treasure. The only thing left is to see the number of players who will be in the match and to wait for the start of the match!

After a long time, we finally managed to reach the number of 30 players in the match! That's still not a good number since we have over 75 players in the alliance, but it's nice to know that there are more of us than in previous matches and previous seasons. On the other hand, the opponents only had 21 players in the match, which, along with the fact that they were already weaker than us, further suggested that we should score an easy victory. But I've already mentioned so many times that you shouldn't underestimate your opponent, but you should play seriously, so I asked for the same approach in this match!

And the battles began! Since this time we were the ones with more players in the match, and since the opponents decided to split into two groups - we occupied Hot Springs without much difficulty. It quickly became clear to me that we were simply too strong for today's opponent, which the reports confirmed...

After we occupied the Hot Springs, I ordered that we begin to press them deeper into their territory and to secure as many Castles as we can as soon as possible, with an emphasis on the Strongholds so that, in case some miracle happens and they manage to take the Treasure - it will be impossible for them not to carry the Treasure to the Strongholds but to be forced to carry it towards the Outposts, which significantly increases the time they need to take it home. Although in most cases, in matches where the strongest alliances of the league meet, Strongholds serve something completely different - in this match we have some other goals and quick relocation is not one of the goals.

Unfortunately, it was crystal clear that today's opponents were not up to the task. It is simply the kind of match that every alliance must have, a match in which there is simply no action, but a match that you have to play. Luckily for us - this kind of match happened at the right time - during this season in which we are celebrating the sixth year since we have been playing this game! In the first match, I mentioned the novelty that we got this season - new Castles, that is, Statues! Once we occupy the Statue, she brings us certain gifts that, in addition to some very good items such as commander medals, or speed up items, diamonds and many other different things - also give us tokens that we can later use in the anniversary shop. This match was the perfect opportunity for all our players who participated in the match to collect enough tokens to buy everything from the anniversary shop! For a certain period of the match, this was our only concern, as our opponents avoided us and tried to occupy the Castles around which we didn't have many troops... However, we were calm enough and my teammates understood what their intention was, so they prevented any penetration of our opponents onto our side of the map! During that time, we calmly took over the Treasure and carried it home without any problems.

Our opponents tried several times with a slightly larger number of players to attack and occupy some of the Castles, primarily trying to occupy Stark Stronghold 1 and 2, but they were simply weaker and did not have enough players to change anything.

During that time, we continued to patiently carry Treasure home, which only increased our point advantage. Although the situation in the match was such that the winner was already decided at the very start when it became clear that we are still much stronger than today's opponent, we had to make an effort to achieve the maximum in this match - to reach 80k points, for the first time this season, and considering that we are playing in the Super League and that with this victory we will reach two wins out of three matches played, it means that in the remaining three matches we will play against much stronger opponents, so this is probably for us was the last chance to reach that realization. Opponents were still trying in vain to occupy Stark Strongholds, which brought me some kind of fun in this match.

Until the end of the match, we just had to wait for Paul to take Treasure home...

Unfortunately, I can't say much about this match. From the beginning of the match, it was clear that today's opponents were simply no match for us and that it was just a question of how much margin we would win. Sometimes you just have to play such matches. Personally, I don't like such matches at all, I simply can't enjoy them despite the fact that we came to an easy victory. The only good things that came out of this match were that we came to our second victory of the season and that the vast majority of our players collected quite enough tokens that the Statues brought, so we still have reason to be satisfied! Personally, that doesn't satisfy me, I want a real, open fight, even if we lose the match, it's important that we fight, that we try! That's the only way we can learn something and progress, matches like today's can't bring us anything good. But that's not our fault, nor the fault of our opponents. They gave their all, even though it was clear that they were too weak, they constantly sent their troops to attack the Stark Strongholds, they constantly tried to get points to at least reach 20k points and win some rewards. Unfortunately this time they didn't succeed, they simply didn't have enough time to do it in the end... In any case, I wish them all the best for the rest of the season!

As for us, it was one of those matches that you just have to do, without excessive spending on speed up and heal items, which we achieved. We recorded another easy victory, which is the only thing that will count from this match, the way we achieved the victory will be quickly forgotten. Although I wished we would get a weaker opponent so that I could wash away the stain from that first match in which I made such a mistake, I still didn't want or expect a match like this. But it doesn't matter - the victory is recorded and the next match awaits us very soon, which will certainly be much, much different from this one! With this victory, we have achieved our second victory of the season and now we are only one more victory away from achieving our goal! Who knows, maybe we will achieve it in the very next match...
