A Young Lord of the Ancient Kingdoms Part 58 (Opportunities Not to Be Missed)

After a long streak of defeats, our Lord was preparing his troops for a journey north, where the cold and great icy gusts were devastating…
But what was the reason for this sudden move? It was easy because the “Siege of Winterfell (SoW)” event had returned, the event that called for the collaboration of alliance members for battles between them, and ultimately great rewards.
Of course, there would also be an event later among the best alliances that had earned the highest ratings.
Upon arriving north in Winterfell, our Lord saw a very cheerful city with decorations, remembering and thinking until he remembered in total amazement.
“How could I have forgotten… We are in the anniversary of the founding of all of Westeros,” our Lord exclaimed. He was practically no longer so depressed, as this event, apart from offering opportunities, brought many rewards to all the Lords of Westeros, and a special event was even developed, incorporated into the battles.
Our Lord was unaware and didn't understand much, so a familiar voice approached him from behind...
"How is it possible you don't understand, as usual, you deliberately don't give it much importance..."
Turning around, he saw it was his friend DYT, who was also in the area preparing for the events of SoW, and along with him was his AdA alliance, which rules the K167 kingdom.
In reality, he too didn't know what all this was about, so he was going to a small alliance he had with the small Lords subjugated to him, but they were a few at hand. Our Lord also thought about going with him, leaving HHH because most of the members were also going to BKL to experience the new, unknown event that would take place on the SoW battlefield.
So, after much thought, he asked his friend DYT to join, which he gladly accepted. Something interesting was that it was as additional support in case they encountered an enemy, since he alone couldn't defeat an alliance if he found a large alliance. And so they made preparations for the battle, which this time they would fight in the first round of combat, a schedule that our Lord could gladly attend, unlike when he fought in his alliance, where he had to wake up early.

The first battle would be against the DJK alliance, a small alliance with a total of 26 members. Our two friends were somewhat nervous, thinking the worst would be that they would possibly lose the fight for number.
DYT plus his alts made a total of 4, and with our Lord, they reached a total of 5 lords.
Already preparing for the fight, they waited behind enemy lines. The reason was to find out how the new event worked, and if possible, rewards would be prioritized over victory.

After the wait, an interesting event occurred: no enemy appeared on the enemy lines to fight. It was a large alliance, but it seemed the enemy Lords didn't want to fight.
Being two high-powered enemies, they might have lost, or they weren't taking the risk, or they simply had no interest in the event.

For our two friends, what was happening was somewhat reassuring. They were aware of the event, and there would no longer be a reason to fight in tension.
So, according to the description, temples would appear on the battlefield. While they were waiting, they would take advantage of the opportunity to capture all the castles to generate points. With a score of 80k, it was enough to claim all the rewards.
With this, there would no longer be a need to obtain Winterfell's resources, which would also add points if delivered to the respective nearby castles.

And from there, the first statue would appear. We had to wait for it to lose its bubble to see what would happen. In a situation with numerous and large alliances, our Lords guessed how difficult it would be to capture it.
Because they also had a control bar over which alliance could obtain it.

After this time, our two Lords were greatly surprised to find a large number of reward bags scattered, each one yielding a substantial amount of rewards.
It was an opportunity they couldn't pass up, to the point that it would be worth it, in a future battle, to lose the buildings or the entire game to collect the rewards.

But in this case, victory would be assured, but in supposed future battles, the problem would be if we had to fight against numerous enemies, we could lose a lot.
So in this case, Loconet, our Lord, would call two more friends, Darksama and QUEEN, who would offer support; of course, the reward would also have to be divided between them.
But losing everything wouldn't be a risk we could take.

For the following battles, it would also be a great opportunity to win, but there would be times when there would be enemies, and there our Lords discovered a significant detail.
That even if they captured the reward bags, they could be stolen by the enemy. This happened in one of the battles that took place throughout the Winterfell events, and losing them was already a total infuriating experience for everyone.

Especially when our Lords encountered an archer named ICE COLD with several subjugated Lords who would also seek the bounties.
The marches didn't die in an instant; the enemy Lord was quite strong, and he only had enough time to steal at least two bags of rewards from each line, so QUEEN and DarkSama would set out to attack him as soon as he left his base.
By attacking along the way, since he had no cavalry mobility, QUEEN, who was an infantryman, would have no problem killing him along the way, ensuring Loconet and DYT would catch the rewards, who would then rotate in to defend.
Thus, the battles would end, with great farming but stress for our Lords. Other than that, they would obtain great rewards that would be considered a great victory. Then, they would return to their HHH alliance for the final battle...

In conclusion, the battle that took place in favor of our Lords was not intended to be won, but they did win, except for the last battle they would fight in HHH, to secure other rewards.
The battles were conducted more individually, and were a race against time and speed to obtain the rewards, as in the case of ICE COLD, where those who fought for the rewards and then disregarded the castles.

I recommend, perhaps in future events, that you do a wonderful job of grouping up with your allies or friends so you can split the rewards and be safe in case the enemies are numerous.
Another riskier method would be to create another alliance and register alone. This way, there's a chance the gifts will be for you alone, as well as taking the risk of fighting alone against someone else.
Obviously, you wouldn't be supporting your alliance, but in the case of our Lord HHH, it's also an understandable alliance, which prefers its allies to grow so they can also take advantage of the opportunity to grow in another alliance without pressure.
It's the bond and trust that the members and friends you get to know have in each other.
That's all for this week.
Thank you very much! See you next time!
