It's now half December, on a cold Sunday evening and our adventurer, [N0X] Shado is preparing for one of the last few rounds of Season 2's Arena of Honor. After getting us used with early morning adventures in Arena of Honor, Shado decided to change the fighting time, why you may ask? Quite simple, he started writing his letter to Santa and got carried and didn't see the time passing so he woke up in the middle of Sunday. Lucky for him there are other times to fight so this time he chooses 6 p.m. Before this round he still had a small chance to reach the Glory King rank, as he was at 186 points before the fight and with a win rewarding 42 points, getting 2 wins in the last 2 rounds would mean getting above the 260 points required for the Glory King, so as soon as he woke up he started preparing tremendously for the fight ahead, equipping his troops with the best armors and weapons and getting his dragons the best skills in his possession.

After all the preparation was done, he started marching towards the well-known by now Mercenary Camp and upon arrival he headed right to the registration building to sign the papers for another solo Arena of Honor match. After he signed there were a few minutes left of waiting till the matchmaking phase so he went to a tavern table ordered a drink and waited for the results of matchmaking phase.

As the matchmaking phase is quite short he was able to enter the battlefield quite quicky and get to see his team for this round and the house he will play with. For this fight, he was a fighter for the House Lannister and fighting along him there were [UTB]LordofMordor, [SRA]ConnellX, [SRA]Skylion, [FuK]WHO DAT, [FDH]Lysa, [SRA]RANDALTHOR, [SRA]x Dante x, [SRA] Lady Silky, [UIF]giraff. By the looks of the draft, it seems Shado joined a premade team that wasn't full upon registering, despite that he still didn't have a way to communicate with the team, but maybe they could communicate with each other and carry the fight a bit? We'll see.

After taking a look at his team he started looking at the enemy teams and despite not seeing any very strong teams around there were quite a few strong warriors among the other teams, so the match wasn't looking easy, but then who likes easy fights, right?

The inspecting of other teams was quickly cut by the start of the fight, everyone put their racing boots on and head for the first 7 strongholds as quickly as possible, House Lannister occupied them and started building Trading Posts beside one individual that decided to build a spearman camp. That was a bit of a red flag for Shado as he thought that maybe the team didn't communicate between them and doing a mix of war camps and trading posts just doesn't work well at all in Arena of Honor, as NPC's aren't strong enough to take Watch Towers or Catapults but the points per minute are also low due to the low number of trading posts. His hunch got true a bit later in the fight when the designed commander started demolishing trading posts to build more war camps but apparently, he didn't know that without reinforces the buildings won't level up so just 10 minutes into the fight House Lannister was already in trouble.

Without the power to change anything about the stronghold's choice, Shado turned his eyes towards altars as they started opening and there is where the best fights usually happen. First in line was Altar of the Stranger and Shado quickly occupied it but it didn't last too much as [III]Raskals decided to test Shado's infantry with his cavalry.

Shado emerged victorious, barely, with the help of his team-mates but he didn't had time to celebrate or to treat his wounded troops as another warrior [NBe]CHARNEL decided to give'it a go and try to take the altar from House Lannister. Expecting another cavalry attack the other House Lannister fighters sent some spear reinforcements to the altar.

Shado was victorious once again and, as the occupation time ended, the altar went into House Lannister possession. On the other side of the map the House Lannister NPC's actually managed to occupy one Watch Tower and that gave the team both a big advantage in points and hope that the match can be won. Shado continued his altar hunting and put his eyes on Altar of the Chrone that was residing a very strong infantry warrior [III]Xeorpa, and as Shado likes to test his limits in this event he went for a solo.

As we got past half of the fight it was time for the City of Glory to open, the most important building of the battlefield and the one that ensures win almost every time if occupied. Shado sent his scouts to see who's residing there and found [FuK]DrSTrange and his infantry there and for House Lannister it was on of the DrSTrange's alliance mates [FuK]WHO DAT that did a cavalry rally to try and take the City of Glory but sadly Shado left his horse at home and couldn't participate to the rally. Even worse the rally failed

As House Lannister didn't have another stronger rally leader they decided to give up on the City of Glory and concentrate on a more achievable goal, keeping 2nd place in ranking and get a good amount of glory points and rewards. There was also another bad thing that happened and almost ruined the match for House Lannister, because their House lord march wasnt sent with commanders, House Tyrell managed to occupy their House, lucky enough Shado had a sharp eye and quickly sent his main march to recover the House and he did so, but that also meant that for him the fighting on this match was over.

Not much happened after that beside House Greyjoy losing their House to House Stark and with that House Stark managing to take the 2nd place from House Lannister in the last few minutes but for Shado the 2nd or 3rd place didn't matter too much as he needed a win to still have a chance on Glory King. Overall, it was a good match for the House Lannister, could've been better if they had a stronger rally leader but with solo que you're never sure what you'll get. There is one last round left to play from this season and hopefully Shado will manage to end the season with a win. See you on the battlefield!
