An Army Strong and Full of Valor

                                                   ( Siege of Winterfell )

The cold brisk winds of the north have approached Westeros as the battles for The Siege of Winterfell have already begun. Once again the land of Winterfell awaits the brave Lords and Ladies of the realm. The time has now come once more for the warriors of TQL to take up the mantle and fight in another match of the Siege of Winterfell for their alliance.

After fighting in three vicious battles with all its might and strength for 3 weeks TQL will soon fight in the fourth match of the Siege of Winterfell. The forces of TQL will once again have to return to the cold, unforgiving realm of the North to battle against our next opponent.

In our previous matches fought in the Siege of Winterfell, we had faced GEU,FHs, and sRg which had resulted with TQL so far having two victories and only one defeat. With this being our fourth battle, TQL was determined more than ever to fight against their opponents with sheer determination until the very end and hope for another victory.

It was not long ago when the gates to the entrance of the battlefield had opened and all the members of TQL led their armies to venture far into the North where the ancient, mystical city of Winterfell lay from a far distance. Winterfell was surrounded by a mist of snow that encompassed where the bag would soon spawn. Upon entering the battlefield I saw the most bitter yet welcoming sight since I had last been here.

It was snowing. An endless fall of snow that gracefully fell upon the earth covering every centimeter of the ground that we stood on with glistening white snow like a blanket. I knew that this was more than just a harmless and peaceful occurrence. From my experiences during the previous battles that we had fought here in the North, this simple fall of snow caused me much misery during our fights in the Hot Springs, and Armory. Maybe more so than being defeated by our adversaries. However moving forward I would not allow any obstacles such as this to prevent me from aiding my alliance in battle.

Most of the members from TQL were present in the battlefield and stood patiently waiting for the battle to commence. I could see the fierce determination coming from within the hearts of all the warriors that stood before me. They were all eager to fight and win this battle. It was revealed on the previous night that the alliance we would soon be facing was Gjs who was another very powerful alliance.

They now stood before us waiting on the other side of the battlefield ready to challenge us. From that distance I could see how powerful and numerous their armies were like some of the previous opponents we had fought against in our past battles. We knew that this battle against Gjs would pose a great challenge and to win this battle would not be easy but it was all the more reason for us to want to win and defeat them.

Several moments later the barrier that separated and prevented both alliances from partaking in this battle now vanished allowing the forces of TQL to take off and fight for glory. Our armies were split into two groups led by our Queen Bella, and Commanders Nelt and Elrik charged forward towards our destinations

The Armory and Hot Springs. I followed my assigned group with haste to the armory with hopes that we would be fast enough to arrive there before our opponents could.

I rode to The Armory as fast as my horse could take me while trying to ignore the brisk cold winds and unpleasant fall of snow that shot at me trying as I continued on my journey.

However once I was close to reaching The Armory I could now spot it from a short distance that a battle had been already taking place there and was greatly dismayed when I saw the banner of Gjs rippling in the cold wind.

Unfortunately that had captured it first causing any of my hopes for winning this battle to quickly shatter like ice. Somehow there was a fire of determination still burning within me that was not going to allow me to give up just yet. I then arrived at The Armory and joined the fight with my allies that were already present there. With my sword in hand I charged over to the nearest opponent and began engaging with him….

Meanwhile Hot Springs had also seen better days. The once peaceful and serene landmark that had been lightly covered in the snow that was gracefully falling around it was now a vicious battle zone filled with violence and bloodshed as another battle had broken up. Two alliances were there fighting to gain its control.

TQL faced the same fate that had befallen them with The Armory as our opponents had also prevailed and conquered Hot Springs before any of us had the opportunity to. This would not stop our allies from trying to capture it from Gjs. With all their strength and might they pressed forward and drew their blades against their foes and striked them. Their weapons clashed against their enemies fiercely. The air was soon thick with tension as the battle for the Hot Springs progressed. Blood began to spatter desecrating the purity of the white snow that once lay on these sacred grounds. In retaliation a deep hish could be heard coming from the water that belonged to the Hot Springs along with steam. It had been angered by the disturbance brought by the bloodthirsty acts of the two alliances.

At this point it was very clear that TQL had been greatly outnumbered by their opponents who had the advantage with strength and numbers and were not willing to give up their territory to us. However TQL was going to relent so easily and strived to continue fighting them for the Hot Springs even though it was apparent that they would most likely not be able to capture it this day.

The forces of Gjs knew what TQL was capable of and that their opponents would not give up nor cease to leave this area until their armies were defeated. So our enemies continued to gather their armies at the Hot Springs lest they get tired out and lose their territory.

Back at The Armory my adversary that I had challenged took up his sword and lunged at me with such force that I almost failed to deflect the blow on time. I soon realised that I made an error at choosing such a strong opponent as just before I could recover from the first strike he came at me again but this time I failed to evade it on time. This resulted with me almost being defeated but luckily I escaped on time before he could finish me off and found a weaker opponent that I was able to best.

My allies that fought with me at The Armory seemed to be faring better than myself as they had almost completely outnumbered the forces of our enemies. However, it was still too early to determine whether we would be able to gain dominance over this building as luck was far from being on our side during this battle. As no matter what we did or hard we had fought against them, it seemed that their control over this building would not waver. Despite our forces being larger in numbers not too long ago we soon found ourselves being overwhelmed by the oblong flood of enemy soldiers that had arrived.

I would never continue my battle at The Armory. From a distance the sharp, loud blow of a horn could be heard coming from one of our only bases GreyJoy Stronghold 2. The horn’s signal alerted us that our base was at the verge of being threatened and required our immediate aid. Knowing that there would possibly be no chances for us to secure this base we were left with no choice but to all withdraw our troops from The Armory and help our allies defend GreyJoy Stronghold 2.

With haste the warriors of TQL began to ride towards the GreyJoy Stronghold hoping to arrive in time to stop our enemies from capturing our base. As we travelled

The journey there through the bone chilling rapid winds and freezing rain was most dreadful.

Travelling from base to base in the North was never an easy trek but my will to win this battle was far stronger than my desire to avoid the harsh weather that I was able to endure until finally our forces had arrived. It was now time for us to unite in battle with the remaining forces of our allies forces that had been relentlessly fending off Gjs’s armies.

A fierce battle broke out once again as our swords met and clashed against our opponents.

The ringing sounds of steel against steel could be heard as my alliance fought to defend our base against our foes. This time it was a turn of events. TQL, the alliance who never gave up, was now wreaking havoc on the battlefield like a bolt of lightning. It was as if they were surging through each enemy blasting them with its electrical energy. We were taking down each of our opponents at a rather quick pace. I felt triumphant as I watched the numbers of our enemies slowly dwindle and the soldiers of TQL marching forward and ceasing our rights to keep control of this base. We just needed to continue to hold on a little longer and this base would remain in our custody. Then soon the battle at GreyJoy stronghold would be over and we would keep our base. I had thought to myself.

Just as my hopes for winning had been shattered then renewed again another great bloodbath took place. Out of nowhere hoards of the enemy’s armies arrived here and took us by surprise. They had overpowered us and began annihilating many of our soldiers.

This weakened our hold on the stronghold and soon we had lost entire control over the base.

It seemed that The Seven did not favor us in this battle as we lacked their aid and fortune during this fight.

While I felt that this battle was pointless and we were doomed, I knew that we had only one last hope. That was to secure the bag and its resources from Winterfell to one of our remaining bases. If we could do that without interference from the enemy then there would still be a chance for us. Demice who was one of TQL’s fastest warriors, had already captured the bag and was on his way to one of our bases along with a small army of our allies following behind him.

Upon learning of this Commander Nelt gave us the order to rendezvous at Demice’s location to help him protect the heavy sack that he was carrying before our enemies could defeat him.

“ To all of you who are fighting at the bases your help is now needed elsewhere. Demise has secured the bag but it won’t be for long. Armies from Gjs have been sighted heading straight towards Demice’s location. So unless we all help him escort the bag safely to Winterfell we will lose this too. All able armies to Demice at once!!” said Nelt.

Everyone instantly heeded the orders from our commander and headed to help Demice.

Several moments later we met up with Demice over at the bridge but only to find that the bag was no longer in his grasp. Unfortunately we had not arrived fast enough to prevent the bag from being lost. Sometime during our journey to the bridge Demice must have fought against the enemy and had lost the bag .

It now laid in the middle of the ground being fought over by the armies ofTQL and Gjs who were both desperate to have it for their alliance. Though it seemed like TQL was defeated and their resolve was broken it was not enough to cause them to give up. TQL was going to make sure with all our power that the bag would not fall into the hands of our enemies. We were going to take that bag. They now had us surrounded but it was as if their forces were never present here.

Nothing was going to stop or intimidate us. With a new found strength our armies cut through them with ease breaking through all their defenses allowing for Florin to quickly swoop in and grab the bag.

Seconds later Florin had lost his composure along with the bag but when our chances for regaining it seemed gone, Demice had regained his armies and went for straight for the bag. Soon he too lost the bag as our opponents had surrounded him and defeated his armies for a second time.

All while the battle had been taking place snowflakes fell gracefully unto the ground from the sky as if a battle had even begun in the first place, almost as if it was another ordinary peaceful day. The battle continued with the forces of TQL chasing our enemies past the bridge after they had stolen the bag from us.

The fight did not end there. We had to continue fighting the enemy to keep them at bay until one of us could successfully secure the bag and deliver it to a base. Yet our enemies could not be swayed nor defeated that easily.. Soon the violent winds and freezing rain had returned as if to play a part in our soon to be downfall. With their arrival our enemy had taken the bag and though we tried to keep chasing them it was to no avail.

The bag was taken far from our reach and would soon arrive at their base with us having no way of retaking it.

As the heat of the battle began progressing and our enemies were continuing to rise up in the lead, by capturing bases and delivering the bag once it had spawned successfully to their bases.

At this point it was very clear that there was no way for my alliance, TQL, to secure victory. However before the battle was over TQL took one last stand. With the last of our armies we had decided to make our way once again towards GreyJoy Stronghold 2 and try to capture it from our enemies.

On our journey there I looked upon the sky and called out to The Warrior, one of The Seven and asked that he grant us his strength to claim this building before this battle ended.

Of course I was met with the usual silence and expected nothing since they had turned their backs away from our alliance. When we had arrived however something was different. It seemed that the enemy's numbers were less than they had been prior to our arrival and they seemed much weaker too. Also they were not as brave as they normally were. Our forces charged at our enemies and started attacking them. Our swords began gleaming brightly as we took down our opponents that had been defending this stronghold. They hardly put up a fight; it was almost like they were giving up. This gave us the advantage that he needed in order to claim the base. Shortly GreyJoy Stronghold 2 was now in TQL's custody.

Finally it's ours, I thought to myself. I looked once more towards the sky and nodded my thanks to the Warrior for helping us achieve this small victory. Whether he really helped us or it was really done solely because of the efforts and courage of my alliance, I would never know. The only thing that mattered to me was that we had captured our base. Our victory as I silently predicted was short lived as our enemies had soon regained their composure and had returned to their former state, reclaiming their base once again.

I looked amidst the flames and ruin that resulted from this battle and caught sight of our enemies all gathered together already cheering for their victory just before I departed back to our establishment.

Then before I knew the battle was over and the Gates closing us in the battle had now opened allowing us to depart from the battlefield. Gjs had won this match with an incredibly large number of points ahead of us making this our second defeat.

When we had returned to Kings Landing the Queen slightly frowned at our defeat as she was familiar with some of the members of Gjs and very much wanted TQL to win this match. It was a sad loss indeed. “ Even though we lost this match the way we all fought was rather remarkable and I am so proud of our determination and I know we will have better luck next time.” ,said Queen Bella now with a warm smile. I walked back to my castle reflecting on all that had happened during the battle today. We may have been defeated today but that would not bring us down. There were still two more battles to fight in before this season of Siege of Winterfell would conclude and I knew that we would do better as TQL never gives up.
