SKR's third round of SoW

The third round of Siege of Winterfell was upon SKR and SIR ST, an alliance with struggles within the confines of the event, always struggling for form and to reach their goals. In the past, they had come very close to reaching their desired 3 wins, but always falling short, with struggles in the last round and only ever getting 2 victories.

This season was bound to be different however, their leadership within the event had changed. In the past, Bower, the duke, would lead the event, but now, it was Rashkasha in command, a trusted leadership member, who had new ideas to bring for the strategies and newfound motivation for the members, especially SIR ST, the strongest of the alliance, was feeling that this season they could finally do it.

Their goal was to reach top 100 and keep their winning rounds to a number of 3, a goal that for now seemed achievable, as they have one win and one loss thus far, the strategies seemed to work perfectly fine. In the first round they had met an alliance way above their reach, making them unable to win the contest, the opposite had happened in the 2nd round, where SKR were the ones dominating. Now, Rashkasha was a bit nervous about who the next opponents were going to be, but he knew that as long as SIR ST was going to be by his side in the alliance, they could overcome most obstacles coming their way, as he had the backing for the members.

The opponents for this round were HaP, an alliance that they did not know anything about, but on the outside, they seemed to be considerably weaker than SKR, with only amassing a total of 70b power, compared to 110b of SKR, at least this is what Rashkasha thought about the situation they were in. The match at first glance looked to be in the bag, but the fighting still had to be done, SIR ST was getting ready for it.

SIR ST was unimpressed when looking at the members of HaP, not seeing anyone that could rival him, but if SKR got outnumbered, he believed that they could be in trouble, as attendance, despite the high motivation, was in jeopardy. This was mostly due to the lack of members within the alliance itself, only with 80 members, they always managed to get to 60 in events. The attendance in that regard was great, but SKR needed to recruit new fighters. SIR ST believed that showing their strength to HaP, could make that as their chance of having newcomers, but they had to show proper respect on the battlefield, and not play around.

The approach for this match was unchanged from their match against TIL, they were going in on both sides, and the one side that wins, goes to Winterfell to secure the resources. This seemed to be safe and still helped secure many buildings, thus Rashkasha thought it was the perfect way to advance. Now, they were all on their way to the cold wintery battlefield.

SKR assembled 62 warriors for this duel, a number which was ordinary for them, and with their high morale, they were more than ready to fight and win this round. ''Winning this is crucial for our goal! We need to keep the momentum going whilst we can!'' said SIR ST before looking into the distance towards the opponents who have now also arrived on the battlefield.

The opponent's numbers were way lower than expected, making Rashakasha's nerves about a potential loss, calm. SIR ST on the other hand, who wanted to respect the opposition and wished to recruit some of their members, knew that victory isn't guaranteed, ever. ''Victory is earned, we may have the numbers, we may have the strength, but give it your all.'' were the brief statements given by SIR ST to his team, right when the battlefield's gates opened for the fight to begin.

As the battle began, it seemed as the HaP forces were aiming for Hot Springs, where SIR ST was going towards, he was excited for the fight, as he would gain first-hand experience on how the HaP fighters would behave when faced with an opponent stronger than them.

Not before long, the two armies have met, SKR's fighters were so eager for the fight, that they engaged the HaP army before they could fully reach Hot Springs, turning it into a fight outside the circle, where the building was secured for SKR, and HaP would lose more points, denying them the 10k points available. Rashkasha, on the armory side, faced no opposition, and pushed further into the enemy territory until he reached the spawn, where his army would prevent the HaP forces from leaving the area.

The lack of numbers and focus only on one side of the map was what brought HaP down very quickly against SKR's strategy, which sadly for them was the perfect counter. SIR ST had annihilated the right side warriors without any haste, not finding any strong fighters suitable for SKR, at least in his high opinion of SKR.

The battle was a clear and flawless victory, but anticlimactic, they hoped to have a better fight, but sadly that was not possible, as SKR proved to be too powerful. Their road towards the goal of the season continued to prosper as now the second win was achieved in just the middle of the season, something unprecedented for SKR. They have 3 more matches to fight in, and one to win, Rashkasha liked those odds.
