And finally the day has come for our last match in this Siege of Winterfell season! We had big changes for this match: I went to TIS with my main account to try to help them reach the play off, Paul could not play the match again due to his personal commitments, and in the meantime several players who had recently joined us left, so we entered this last match very weakened. Although it was personally very difficult for me to leave the alliance, even if only for this one match, I wanted to help my friends in their attempt to try to reach the play off, while we had already achieved what we planned, so I had the option to leave. The second thing that made me go to help is the fact that we definitely have to play against a strong opponent in the last round, and since I knew that we had to play without Paul, it was clear to me that we would hardly be able to do anything in that match. Taking all of the above into account, leaving seemed like the most logical option, which is why I played this match only with my alto, which I will present to you in the following text.

I have to admit that I was surprised when I saw that WoG was our next opponent. Again, I expected much stronger opponent. However, this of course does not mean that they are not strong - they are much stronger than us. But since we entered the Top 100 alliance, we won 3 in a row and because of that I expected that we would still play against a much stronger opponent... But WoG is definitely an opponent that we can play against!

For several reasons, we waited for the last few seconds before the start of the match to work out a game plan - we did not know which of our players would come to the match, while on the other hand, the strongest players of our opponents still did not appear, so we decided to wait and see against who exactly are we fighting! While we were waiting, I started making plans in my head - if their strongest players don't show up, it will be a huge relief for us and then we can go into an open fight against them, wherever needed. In case a few of their strong players appear - then we will try to avoid them as much and as long as possible. However, we must not forget that in this match we are playing without our two strongest players...

As time went on and the start of the match was getting closer and closer, so did our chances. Still none of their strongest players entered the match! In those moments, I really regretted the decision to play this last match in TIS (especially because we got too strong opponent in that match, but we'll talk about that another time). But, while I was daydreaming about how we have a great chances to win this match, which would bring us to an incredible 5 wins, the expected happened - only 2 minutes before the start of the match, their strongest players appeared: first KoreaHanBok and immediately after fish k and fush k...

Since at that moment we already had more than 10 players less than the opponent, we had no choice but to focus on one side of the map where we will all go together, in one group, to try capture as many Castles as possible and try to clear the way for Winterfell and the Treasure. I saw that all of their strongest players who had just joined the match focused exclusively on Hot Springs, which is why I ordered my teammates to all go towards the Armory together!

The plan worked! Unlike our opponents, we did not split into two groups, which is why we had more troops in the battle for the Armory. Although we lost Hot Springs and almost the entire right side of the map - we were still in a good position since we had control of the Armory! However, already after those opening few battles I saw that they are much stronger players than us and that it will be very difficult for us until the end of the match... Besides, we still haven't seen their strongest players in action!

However, it didn't take long to get a response from our opponents... Very soon after we occupied the Armory they suddenly started coming, from all sides! Our players, tired from the just finished battles for the Armory, didn't have many troops anymore so we were easy prey for the WoG and so we lost the Armory too...

After we lost the battle for the Armory it became clear that I had the wrong opinion about our opponent today - we were much weaker than them. To our great regret, it was clear that the victory in this match could be considered a miracle and that our only goal until the end of the match is to collect as many points as possible. Any open fight against them is out of the question! Unfortunately I had to make the least popular decision in this whole event - I ordered my teammates to look for the Castles with the fewest troops and try to get us as many points as possible. Also, any thought that we could fight for the Treasure was also out of the question!

And so, from this moment until the end of the match, we were condemned to a game of cat and mouse - we and our troops would attack some of their Castles, they would even occupy some, but very quickly a large number of their players would appear and they would take the Castle back under their ownership. First we tried to attack Greyjoy Stronghold 2, which we occupied!

Next on my list was Hot Springs!

Deprived of their strongest players, who were busy clearing the left side of the map and taking Treasures home, there weren't many of their strong players near Hot Springs so I was able to find good targets! The battle lasted for several minutes - until a lot of their players arrived, after which we had no chance.

During that time, we lost all battles on other battlefields, one after another...

At this moment, I saw the state of the match and that unfortunately we were are no match for our opponents - I ordered my teammates to save speed up and heal items. This match was lost anyway, and very soon after this SOW season ends, KVK will come and after that, Alliance Conquest, our favorite event and the event in which we achieved the greatest success. Therefore, I tried with a few more attacks to bring us another point. I attacked Greyjoy Outpost 1 first.

However, I already didn't have enough troops to fill 3 deployments with my troops, so I didn't have too much success. In addition, as soon as he approached the Castle, the opponents immediately came with a large number of players.

Now with very few troops - I tried to attack once again - this time Greyjoy Stronghold 1.

However, just like in the previous cases, the rest of their players came to reinforce very quickly, so again I had no chance...

And so, unfortunately, this last match of this season ended too soon! By the end of the match, we didn't appear on the map again, until the opponents reached 80k points and withdrew their troops to the Base, after which we occupied the Castles, but it was too late for the Treasure so we didn't manage to reach 20k points, which would have given us brought some prizes.

Despite the fact that we suffered a heavy defeat in this match - there is no need to despair! We played another great season in which we once again pushed our limits and won 4 out of 6 matches played! If someone had offered us this option at the beginning of the season, we would have accepted it without thinking!

As for this match, I knew it would be difficult since we were playing without our two best players, but I was sure we could handle them. However, after the match started and after I saw their strength, it was clear that they are much stronger than us, which they demonstrated in the match. In the end, they tried to give us points to win some rewards, but unfortunately there was not enough time, but we should definitely thank them for that gesture and congratulate them on their well-deserved victory! We didn't give up as long as there was a grain of hope that something could change, but we still had to play it safe and save speed up and heal items for future matches. Although we did not achieve what we wanted in this match, I still have to praise my teammates who once again listened and followed my orders. This is very important - as I already mentioned, the Alliance Conquest will start very soon, from which we again have high expectations, so we can understand this SOW season as a kind of preparation for what awaits us in the future! Once again, he would like to thank his teammates for an almost perfectly played season!n But there is no relaxation - new challenges are ahead of us!
