This week in a long time, MAJ had time again to play Redmine. It was Arya again and when he started to play there were 7h left on the clock. The rankings looked kinda settled, with Place 1 more or less already secured by a 7h lead for GeorgeBylis from HD!- He had put his alt on rank 2 so far, but MAJ was sure there are more MBL that would like those ranks and get more chests. So far ranking was only 7 spots taken, so MAJ commanded Fleep to take his turn of kicking the alt, while MAJOr and LAH were called to guard up in case he tried to kick with his main.

After some back and forth kicking each other, George seemed to be low on picks and it was Fleeps turn to make some time. MAJ then had to leave but Fleep was still in the mine, so he was making time.

When MAJ came back, he saw KillKeks in the redmine with bit more than 1.5h time already. 1h 55 mins were left to be taken and both KillKeks and LordStrandli, whom many might know from Arena of Honor trips of MAJ, were 50 mins behind of El GrecO, the alt of George.

MAJ fast reached out to Keks, that he was back and both he and Strandli should be still able to overtake El GrecO. To secure a fast recapture of the redmine, in case George would notice the plan and step in, MAJ woke up MAJOr and LAH again.

It all seemed silent, and Keks kept making time, but out of a sudden, he saw himself facing attacks.

A new player appeared and wanted to take his turn at redmine. Since MAJ was at rank 10 with 17 minutes only, there was still plenty of time for others to get themselves into the rankings, which attracted FreeThePlebs from BaN. Known as being inf, she shouldn´t be a threat for Keks, who runs a Cav Hybrid setup. But seeing Keks being cav, she went spear on him and managed to kick him.

LordStrandli was watching closely and with his recent finished Daeron, he stepped in fast, knowing he would beat both the inf and the Spears. He even defended some attacks, eating up some picks of FreeThePlebs, but it was costly has he wasn´t prepared for a fight, having no T3 and nearly no T1, so he had to train while defending, which made him do another big mistake, he wouldn´t notice till after reset. He forgot to change refinement, so he kept fighting without the stats boost coming from there.

Would this come to a matter? Well, he out of a sudden started to lose against FreeThePlebs, when she started to reduce the T1 and instead used more T3.

Strandli was wondering, how he could lose with the commander advantage being this big, but never checked on the refinement. Even so looking into the stats, he just kept wondering, but wouldn´t notice. Still, they decided to keep Strandli making some time for now, as he was able to atleast tank some hits and therefor reduce the picks faster.

Time kept ticking, and the difference got smaller, but although time kept wasting and less and less difference between needed and leftover time was left. While it being 15 minutes when they started, it was down to 5 minutes by now, and George still wasn´t there. Would he notice, or stay asleep? And would they be able to take care of it in case he does with only 5 minutes difference on the clocks?

FreeThePlebs kept trying, and they kicked back and forth using up all her picks and just when they thought it should be over soon, George appeared. But to their surprise he changed to inf, so they decided to swap and send Keks back into redmine to hold, as he is cav and should hold against the infs.

But now it was FreeThePlebs with Spear and George with inf hitting, so it kept wasting time, Strandli kicking back, changing to 1 T1 and letting keks back in. They kept fighting, knowing both George and FreeThePlebs should be out of picks soon. Keks started to stay in the Redmine for a longer period now and then a scream happened. George is here with Cav.

MAJ shouted at MAJOr: “Go get your spears to work.”

MAJOr hit right away and kicked out George, fastly passing on the redmine to Keks again, but he got kicked no 2 minutes later again. So he went in again, without checking and faced infs, but since George was in a split setup for inf and cav, MAJOr still won.

“Go Keks, go”, he said, after he fastly changed by to 1 T1 to not waste more time. But Keks took a moment to realize, and another 30 seconds went away. The time window got closer and closer. George kicked another time with inf, but MAJOr prepared himself to kick this time with inf aswell and they commanded Strandli to go in this time and try to see if he would be able to take the hit.

But the answer was no. So they had to use up more of his picks, which would eat up more of their time. It was bit over 1 hour to go by that time. And they still needed combined like 57 minutes.

When they felt, George was done, and Keks could finally make some time in peace, it was FreeThePlebs again. Another 3 times she kicked Keks, just to be kicked by Strandli right away after again.

With 49 minutes left, both Strandli and Keks needed 22.5 minutes. The difference was down to even bit less than 4 minutes. It didn´t looked to well by now. But it seemed like all were out of picks, and Keks would be able to finish his time needed, when he said: “Another HD! with Cav appeared, attacking me, but he sends only 150k.”

Well this wouldn´t be enough to kick either Keks or Strandli, and made them actually confident, as it seemed to support their feeling of George being out of picks himself and asking desperately for help to kick them from Redmine. With 24 minutes to go, Strandli took over from Keks who had surpassed El GrecO by 25 seconds. Strandli would need 22 minutes and 3 seconds to go even with El GrecO, 22 minutes and 4 seconds to be ahead. Time was ticking, MAJOr was watching closely, seeing Strandli being under attack repeatedly, but it was the same 150k Cav guy, who couldn´t do any damage. But would they move another, with the difference being only less then 2 minutes between both clocks? Time kept ticking, the heardbeat kept rising, and the nerves reached their high. MAJ watching everything kept counting loud the time needed to calm himself. Even so he wasn´t involved himself, he kept feeling for those 2 warriors that invested the last 2 hours late at night. When they finally hit the 2-minute mark on the clock, MAJOr took over to seal the mine and take no risk at George making some last seconds out of a sudden. It was done. They pulled it off in a breathtaking last 48 minutes.
