)>- INTRODUCTION -<(

A new match of the ultimate conquest had to take place, and Arthurion was particularly eager to play it. He would see himself facing the alliance of WTF against that of RRH. Two seasoned alliances, and present for a long time in the top 16 of the best alliances. The omens were in favor of a particularly tense confrontation, because RRH announced itself as a strong opponent against WTF. The two alliances had already fought against each other several months ago, but during the event of the siege of Winterfell. It was not dishonest to say that RRH was slightly inferior in power, but compensated with a very great strategy.

Arthurion had a vague knowledge of the commanders present at RRH. They had already had the opportunity to play together during a match of the ultimate conquest of season 18. Of his French-speaking friends, it was Dydy who knew Esteban, the leader of RHH, well. Esteban possessed a very great quality, which was becoming increasingly rare in the 7 kingdoms: he was French-speaking. A certain asset that necessarily spoke to the groups of French-speaking people now at WTF made up of Mammouth, Dydy, Lord Tulip, Kissabath, PacoVega and Arthurion. Esteban had won their affection. He was a formidable tactician, knowing how to lead his troops with great efficiency. An enlightened leader.

The match was about to begin, and a delicate feeling of apprehension and impatience mingled in the WTF ranks. Eager to face an opponent who would put up resistance. But apprehension at the idea of realizing, too late, that this enemy was ultimately stronger than you. As usual, the valiant WTF were willing to obtain victory at all costs. The advantage of this confrontation was that DYDY could easily help to give the formations of the enemies, and therefore more easily recognize the targets. For both teams, the stakes were high. Because the loser would be eliminated from the competition of the ultimate conquest. The winner could go a little earlier. Because all the teams had one goal: to go as far as possible in the competition, and to obtain the glorious and unique rewards of this tournament: the pieces of the exterior of the castle of the Iron Throne.

The last seconds of the countdown ticked away, and less than a minute before the start, the WTF lined up their 70 players, and only 68 for the RRH. A slight imbalance in favor of WTF. Having already played matches where some players were missing, Arthurion was finally quite proud to see that no WTF had failed to show up.

)>- OPENING -<(

Queeny's countdown cut through the silence.

3… 2… 1… GO !!!!

Opening the first four buildings was always one of the most difficult parts of the game. It required a lot of runners, switches, swaps, and counter-swaps. The ideal was to place your best pieces directly on the right locations.

The first points were in favor of WTF. Luckily, good WTF commanders were already placed. This would avoid dangerous swaps. RRH had only had one building, but it was the best: the mother, which gave a bonus for healing. It was quite obvious that they would try a swap in order to place one of their best players. And that is obviously what happened. Arthurion, who was not in a building, naturally tried to counter this strategy by launching a violent attack on the mother.

He took a monumental spanking against his natural enemy: the lancers. Arthurion did not know Dakarshur. But now, it was done. He aligned a magnificent synergy of weak points, reinforced by a king of the night, and a Daenerys. Commanders all augmented by their respective weapons, making them very formidable. The game began in pain for Arthurion, who now had an almost complete hospital to treat. In a corner of his mind, he noted the name of the enemy: Dakarshur: do not attack head-on.

Obviously the RRH reinforced the only building in their possession, and Dakarshur was quickly full. But the WTF did not intend to stop there, and the first WTF rallies were organized quite quickly. Having only one target, it would inevitably concentrate all the WTF rallies. After extremely violent fights in the mother's time, it was finally Chainsowman who took control. If Dakarshur was a powerful lancer, then Chainsowman was even more formidable. The RRH would struggle, for sure, to want to retake this building.

Before the WTF could enjoy their victory, fierce fighting, with multiple solo attacks, allowed the RRH to take control of the Lannisters' outpost. It would be easier for them to defend a building closer to their camp. But they had to keep their concentration, since the match was progressing, and its imperatives with it.

)>- OPENING OF PORTS-<(

The opening of the ports was the second hinge of any confrontation. The ports were difficult to take, especially since each side had the advantage of having a port nearby. But when the ports opened, it was WTF who led, and who took both ports.

Before the WTFs began their swap, Arthurion took advantage of the loss of the bubble to spy on the enemy outpost. With a bit of luck, he would come across some dubious infantry that he could attack alone at will to regain control of the outpost and satisfy his thirst for blood. Unfortunately, this was not the case, since Lady Patt was playing cavalier, with a near-perfect synergy of Daenerys, Senelle, Cersei, Leila and Salma. Only the weapons lacked prestige, and were not all adapted enough. A strong enemy, but certainly not powerful enough to hold back the assaults of the WTFs to come.

The WTF organized an absolutely perfect swap on the enemy port, and placed their queen Queeny as close as possible to the enemy. It took only a few seconds for the building to be filled with millions of troops ready to fight and sacrifice for their queen.

During the final conquest, occupying the warrior tower gave a 20% bonus to the health, attack and defense of all allied troops. Surely in search of these combat bonuses, the RRH attempted multiple rallies on this building then occupied by Athena D God. A goddess of combat, direct descendant of a goddess of combat.

Arthurion, whose troops were inside the building, had only a very small glimpse of the fighting, since his troops only participated in one battle, which was largely won by Athena. Since she only had riders, her feminine synergy could fully be accomplished in the power of their active army skill. The game continued, but as the most powerful of the buildings was about to open: Castral Rock, the RRH took advantage of it to send lone troops to the Targaryen outpost, and thus retake it under the noses of the WTF.

Clearly, the RRHs were taking advantage of moments requiring extreme concentration to carry out audacious assaults and put the WTFs in difficulty. A strategy that paid off for those who don't have eyes everywhere. Esteban was truly an ingenious strategist.

)>- OPENING OF CASTRAL ROCK -<(

The match continued to gain intensity as the minutes passed. After this unexpected defeat on the outpost, it was absolutely necessary to make the first hold on Castral Rock. The central building concentrated all the fights. It was the one that allowed to obtain the most points.

The first take was for the WTF. It would then be necessary to carry out a swap to place one of the most powerful players in this building. But the WTF intended to use the precious minutes given by the bubble for another strategy, since they took advantage of it to organize and launch numerous rallies on the enemy outpost, then occupied by Lady Patt, the rider with medium weapons.

Arthurion struck, cavalry against cavalry. Despite the clear effectiveness of their rallies, the RRH defended their building very ardently. Perhaps it was the proximity of their base camp? Or their absolute determination not to give up anything to their enemy? Or most certainly the lack of WTF rallying. But in any case, the building remained in the hands of the RRH.

At the same time, the WTF organized the swap on Castral Rock, placing Josehf within it. Surely the most powerful WTF player in his domain, and one of the hardest to dislodge. Josehf impressed with his ability to resist attacks from his counter. He was therefore a formidable tank, on any building, ready to take attacks and maintain an effective defense. Time passed, and Arthurion still did not occupy a building. Feeling useless, he sent a spy to the Targaryen outpost, still nearby, which was in the hands of the RRH named Miga.

A building full of lancers, which was certainly not the ideal place for Arthurion to try his luck. But before he could even react, his fellow WTF infantrymen had already taken care of him, and taken control of the building once again.

)>- OPENING OF BASTIONS -<(

Bastions were certainly not the most important buildings, but they could bring a little extra points, and above all, a little military help. Combined with other buildings of the same house, they brought a very significant bonus in points.

Each side was able to get their stronghold, and quickly, the WTF made a magnificent swap to place Dugaan Stark.

Once again, Arthurion found himself without a building. He took the opportunity to spy on the RRH stronghold, which was in the hands of Avari Noldor. A rider in mixed synergy, who seemed quite weak and who would surely not resist the attacks of the WTF for long.

He wrote down his name for later, and promised himself that he would attempt solo attacks to test his combat effectiveness. But like Miga, he was attacked sooner than expected, and Arthurion ran out of time to get into the fight.

)>- Attack between commander -<(

Failing to be effective in taking buildings, Arthurion should concentrate on annihilating the enemy troops, and retaking enemy points. He launched his cavalry to attack an unknown enemy called Blu3Angel. Luckily, this one was infantry. He made short work of it.

Arthurion was attacked in return by a man named TawyStar. However, as a lancer, he was unable to break through Arthurion's defenses. However, he had a very decent weak point synergy, composed of Jaime, Drake, Patelo, Arlsan and Julien. The presence of Arslan and Drake provided continuous healing, allowing Jaime to maintain his synergy for almost the entire duration of the fight. If he had had Hector instead of Julien, perhaps he would have been more successful?

A new attack attempt was made on Arthurion. Also by a lancer, a man named M1lf Hunter. If Arthurion was not very effective in remembering the names and formations of his enemies, this did not seem to be the case for his opponents. Was he going to concentrate all the attacks of the RRH lancers? Luckily, this attack was just as disappointing as the previous lancer. A fairly good weak point composition composed of Jaime, Drake, Arlsan and Patelo. But Arthurion had a lot of trouble understanding what Salma was doing in this almost exclusively male composition. She did not bring much, apart from a reinforcement of the lancer statistics. But like the attack of the previous lancer, it would have been more relevant to put Hector. Hector was formidable, especially with his weapon, and formations became very strong thanks to his presence. Fortunately for Arthurion, this was not the case here.

One last time, Arthurion was targeted by the enemy. He took it with good heart and positivity. There was no point in him having to venture into enemy lands, since his adversaries were coming to him.

Before he could even fight, his opponent cancelled his strike, and Arthurion found himself sheepishly in his castle without even knowing the name of the one who had given up on defying him.

)>- Opening of mines -<(

The opening of the mines was imminent, and with it, the climax of the current match. It was the climax of this clash, and of all clashes during the final conquests. Most alliances kept their strategic powers to use during the mines. The points contained in the mines could change everything, or almost everything. Their first capture was therefore essential, even if the bubble of the first capture fell extremely quickly.

Thank goodness, the WTF managed to take the two mines and quickly reinforce them. A sigh of relief could be heard among the WTF: the most important buildings were in their hands. Better than that: all the buildings were held by WTF. Thus, the outcome of the confrontation was no longer in doubt, and as soon as the WTF had reinforced their force on the mines, there would be no doubt that the match would decrease in intensity and that the RRH would slowly reduce their investment. But not all of them, since Arthurion was once again the victim of an attempted attack to steal his points. A man named Phall. Another spear.

An attempt that ended in a monumental failure on the part of his opponent. He also had a magnificent weak point synergy. And for once, there was Hector to effectively counter the feminine synergy. Unfortunately, he was only weakly armed. Arthurion had therefore still not lost his precious points from the beginning of the match. The match was still progressing, and after the capture of the mines, the number of points had reached more than 87,000 for WTF, and more than 26,000 for RRH.

)>- IT'S A TRAP -<(

But the minutes were ticking by, the end of the match was fast approaching, and it was in voice that Arthurion proposed to his allies a little trick to attract the enemy to him a little. The RRH had indeed emptied their castles, launched rallies to hide their troops. Since all the buildings were in the hands of the WTF, it was necessary to be cunning. So he tried to make a small trap castle himself, by emptying almost all his troops by various rallies on buildings or enemies.

From a distance, it seemed like the perfect castle, empty of troops and harmless. Its 100 points would surely attract the enemies' covetousness. Even Arthurion was eager to attack himself!

It was as if he was holding a sign that said, “Attack me.” It took only a few seconds for him to be the target of an attack. And once, his attacker was the spearman TawyStar, who had already tried to take Arthurion’s points.

Arthurion immediately withdrew his troops from the rallies, and called on his French-speaking friends to reinforce him. But the enemy had slowly. Very slowly. Too slowly… Had he sensed the maneuver? Arthurion expected to see a lightning attack emerge. But that was not the case…

When she struck, he painfully realized that his enemy had not really wanted to attack him… Too bad. His trap had certainly worked, but not as he had hoped.

)>- CONCLUSION -<(

The last minutes passed slowly, but at the end, victory finally went to the WTF. An additional victory that would take them a little further in the glorious league of ultimate conquest. Nevertheless, Arthurion perceived a little bitter taste throughout him, with the feeling of having been a little too useless. No capture of buildings. Not much grandiose rally. Finally, the match had been less tense than expected. It was necessary to discuss it with his friend Dydy, who knew the RRH well:

Arthurion : Are you happy to have faced the RRH?
DYDY : Yes I am happy ^^ xD
Arthurion : Did you expect this kind of match?
DYDY : Happy to have faced them but we expected a little more fighting spirit from them for their last UC match.

Indeed, Arthurion completely agreed with Dydy's opinion. This match lacked a bit of fighting spirit. A good strategy had allowed RRH to recover a few points. At least, Arthurion had been able to keep his points until the end, despite the lancers' attacks on his castle. The small French-speaking troop was nevertheless happy to have been able to find their old friends from RRH. They imagined themselves during their last matches alongside RRH, obeying Esteban's orders in an English perfectly understandable to all French people, with a hard but effective access. Good memories, before they ended up returning to WTF, thanks to Mammouth's harassment to join them. Everyone also became aware of the consequences of this victory: if WTF continued, then RRH would stop. Thus, it was the last match for RRH, and the end of their presence in the ultimate conquest. They had progressed very far, but their path ended there. As the eternally kind, Arthurion also felt bad for having eliminated his friends from the tournament. But when you play, there always has to be a winner and a loser. And the French group began to think about the future match that would make them leave the tournament. Would it be the next match against GCM? Or the one that was coming up against HOH, who had already beaten them before? Each victory brought its share of advice for the future. Hoping to always become better, the WTF improved a little more each day.
