Ultimate conquest S 9 Round 2 VMD vs sRg

After a few days' break, Killer Marta returned to VMD to face the second round of eliminations of Ultímate Conquest.

This time our opponent was [sRg] WEAreFamily.

And the battle began, this time Killer Marta did not try to take any position, she had decided that at the beginning she was going to reinforce her companions with her troops, the first 5 minutes it seemed that everything was going very well VMD had achieved the four locations Lannister Base, Targaryen Base, Mother Temple and Warrior Tower.

Killer Marta rushed to reinforce as quickly as she could, but at minute 7 the locations began to get twisted, at that very moment she began to suspect that this was going to be very tough, she was seeing a lot of infantry with their swords sharpened with Valyrian steel, everything made her fear that her poor spears were going to suffer, VMD lost Mother Temple and at the same time the two ports opened while VMD conquered Targaryen Port sRg conquered Lannister Port.

Killer Marta tried to recapture Mother Temple alone, but her attacks only crashed against a wall of infantry, she should have recruited more cavalry (she won't make the same mistake again next time, she's a player who learns from experience) so she decided that Mother Temple would not attack her alone, she would join her teammates' demonstrations, bringing in the little cavalry she had, Killer Marta is a patient player and in her mind she kept thinking that her time would come, surely not all of them were infantry, well, or so she wished.

Killer Marta, besides joining the rallies, wanted to try her luck in Lannister Port, and well, it seems that things didn't go so badly for her there. Spear marked that objective. Killer Marta managed to land two hits alone and was quickly recovered by a VMD player, which gave Killer Marta a bit of morale.

The minutes kept passing by. VMD kept launching cavalry rallies against the Temple of the Mother, but sRg quickly filled it with infantry again. VMD lost Warrior Tower this time, and Killer Marta waited for the counter to let her attack (would it be infantry?), because if they were infantry, Killer Marta gathered her troops and promised them that this wasn't going to stay like this. She told them that before the 60 minutes were up they would have their reward, but for now they had to focus and keep helping VMD win the event. That objective was the most important thing.

The minutes continued to pass and it was Casterly Rock turn and unfortunately the location was conquered by sRg, the event was very disputed and either of the two clans could win.

As always, Killer Marta waited for the counter to reset to zero, but this time she was going to do it right. She didn't want to sacrifice any more troops foolishly (she already had them angry enough to make them angrier) and thank goodness she only sent one soldier because, once again, they were infantry. Killer Marta could only help in the rallies. She was starting to get frustrated and her troops were in a very bad mood, so she invited them for wine and told them to relax, as for the moment she was only going to use the cavalry.

The minutes kept passing, there were still mines to open, which is the last thing to open, and the fortresses while VMD tried to recover CR, it was the turn for the fortresses, and wow, there were one for each clan, it was already clear that it would be decided in the mines, Killer Marta was beginning to feel the pressure, if sRg had even more strong infantry commanders we were really in trouble.

Killer Marta sent her cavalry to the rallies, but she is a warrior of her word and did not forget her spear, she had promised them something and perseverance always succeeds, she found a target, gathered her troops and recommended that they prepare well, that we were going to reconquer Targaryen Fortress, what's more, she told them that until they reconquered it she would not stop attacking and so it was, the battle was served. Killer Marta and her brave warriors embarked on a cruel and bloody battle, wave after wave without stopping. Killer Marta commanded her troops again and again did not stop until she recovered that position, she kept her promise, she was happy but without looking away at the event.

After a period of time Killer Marta lost the Fortress, but she and her troops had another objective, they could not focus on that fortress, there were barely 50 seconds left for the mines to open and everything was so tight that she preferred to forget about the fortress.

And so it was, Killer Marta and VMD went after the mines as if their lives depended on it (not their lives but the game did) at first we got the Tangaryen mine but not the Lannister mine, but as always the VMD players rose to the occasion and managed to recover the Lannister mine, as the minutes passed the closer the victory was.

And so it was, in the end, a victory for VMD.

Killer Marta had gone through all kinds of emotions in 60 minutes, from feeling like she was going to lose, to feeling helpless, to the excitement of being able to kill troops and see and participate in the victory, and finally seeing how VMD grows in the face of truly admirable challenges.
