Introduction

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my series breaking down the many immortals in the game. Today, we will be covering Alexander The Great, one of the strongest and most flexible immortals who is capable of making an impact no matter what team he is on.

Alexander “the Great” was known for his military prowess as well as his diplomatic skills in handling the regions he had conquered. His campaigns were famous and known by many Greek and Roman generals even after his death, to the extent that many biographies of him depicted him almost like a god.

Defining Alexander in Infinity Kingdom

Alexander is part of the list of Earth element immortals and is an immortal that the majority of players would have as part of their team, be it a pure earth march, or a mixed element march. As a calvary and attack based immortal, it is more often than not picked as one of the main damage dealers, especially with the ease of obtaining its Exclusive Artifact (EA) with little to no spending.

We will do a deep dive into Alexander, covering how to obtain him as well as his EA, as well as recommend skill builds and team matches for all to use.

Obtaining the Immortal

Alex can be purchased in the Mysterious Pearl Shop for 60 pearls, or 20 pearls if you have not claimed the special immortal selection chest yet. Afterwards, he can be bought from the market, or from other limited time events such as Recharge Gift.

Ultimate Skill Breakdown

Most of Alex’s damage is based on his normal attacks, since his ultimate skill Eternal Conquest passively increases normal attack damage by 50%. When active, it further boosts normal attack damage by increasing attack speed and damage dealt by 50%.

Exclusive Artifact

His exclusive artifact, Homer’s Epic, is one of the best available, and is a must for Alex. It changed his ultimate skill into a passive, giving Alex a constant damage and attack speed increase of 35%. In addition, Alex will have control immunity for the entire duration battle, which keeps Alex unaffected by any enemy attempts to stun, silence or confuse him.

How to Obtain

Homer’s Epic can be obtained via a number of ways. While it can be obtained by purchasing it from Triss Wish Shop or from Limited TIme Events such as Recharge Gift, it can also be obtained for free from Mysterium and Stellar Compass, making it one of the easiest EAs to obtain.

Recommended Skills and Build

Depending on what type of team you are going for, and what skills you have access to, Alex can equip a vast number of skills. He can be built to do large amounts of damage to a single target, or deal damage to every immortal on the enemy team.

If you don't have access to any skills from Frostborne or Triss, this is one set of skills that Alex can equip, which will still be able to deal a good amount of damage to the enemy. However, it will be good to work towards obtaining some skills from Frostborne, such as Wind Rage or Assembly Charge, which will be a huge upgrade.

These are some common sets of skills that perform well on Alex, but require some skills from Frostborne and Triss. For players who plan on using Alex on their main team, investing in these skills will see a huge increase in power.

This is another set of skills that has gained popularity recently. Instead of the usual skills that take advantage of Alex’s normal attacks, these skills allow Alex to do massive amounts of damage to the entire enemy team, with the damage dealt only increasing as the match progresses.

Team Compatibility

As one of the most popular teams, this Earth-Wind hybrid team can be built relatively easily, since it does not require any skills from Frostborne or Triss, and all its exclusive artifacts can also be obtained for free. It is a very powerful march, able to punch above its weight class, defeating many other teams who have a much higher power.

This team has gained a lot of popularity recently, and has many variations to it, such as Zenobia being replaced with Theodora, or Himiko being replaced with Genghis Khan. It is also a strong team, but requires more skills from Frostborne and Triss to build, and can be more costly.

Epilogue

Alexander the Great has always been one of the best and most versatile immortals, able to fit into many different teams and situations. Both him and his exclusive artifact are also easily obtained, which allows all types of players to be able to use him on their teams. He also does not require expensive skills for him to get close to his full potential, further improving his accessibility for all players. It is no wonder he has been a favourite among most players for years.
