We've reached the final match of the season.

Match after match, the group including our Neik had managed to reach the sixth and final match with a record of four victories and one defeat, securing qualification in the Ultimate Conquest. This meant that whatever the outcome of today's match, they didn't have to worry about future consequences, although securing a win would have meant gaining a slight advantage in the next phase by facing an opponent closer to the bottom among the last 16 qualifiers.

The march to the battlefield today was almost over, and once they arrived, they would discover who their opponents would be for this sixth round. In the distance, a dense group could already be heard; the sounds of their horns and war drums inspired fear and could be heard from miles away.

Finally arriving on the battlefield, the first thing they saw was their red and gold banners soaring in the sky. They belonged to...

N3O

Without a shadow of a doubt, it was one of the alliances aiming to conclude their journey in this Alliance Conquest season in the top 16 positions. Their strength and organization in these events were unparalleled, and they were perhaps one of the most challenging rivals to face, especially at this moment when they needed to secure a victory to reach their goal. The attendance of their members, which often reached 98 on the battlefield, was an incredible number of warriors that showcased the determination of the alliance led by members of the caliber of UrCandy and b3nni to be available in the next phase of the tournament.

Discovering the opponent suddenly gave immense importance to the sixth round, and for HOH, inflicting this blow to their historic rival would be an incredible achievement. Our Neik was visibly anxious for the start of the battle upon seeing the imposing enemy army in the distance.

The rivalry between the two alliances was deeply felt, and this would push all warriors on the battlefield to give their all; they didn't need any further motivation. And to emphasize this, leader Grombold said, "Before discovering the opponent, we had thought to not overexert ourselves to save resources and energy for the next phase, but at this point, we must give our all and secure victory even in this round!" These were the first words that anticipated the imminent start of the sixth round.

The pouring rain on the fighters' armor and the battleground provided the perfect backdrop for a clash that would undoubtedly be tough and bloody.

Thus began the sixth and final round of Alliance Conquest!

An exceptional start for HOH.

With unheard-of ferocity and speed, they managed to take an early lead with three buildings in their favor, leaving only one in the hands of the enemy!

However, just moments after this, Neik, from one of the captured positions, spotted the arrival of dozens of enemy rallies in the distance, immediately besieging the Mother Temple and Targaryen Outpost. N3O's tactic was clear from the outset; they couldn't afford anything but emerging victorious from this match, which forced them to be aggressive from the very beginning.

In haste, the members of HOH rushed to defend the buildings they owned to counter the imposing enemy army on the march, and...

Both buildings fell into the hands of the enemies!

The imposing armies that arrived to counter HOH's stunning start prevailed. "Do not despair, and let's focus immediately on the Ports; then we'll think about reclaiming them," were the first instructions from the officers.

The imminent opening of the Ports required utmost concentration; the strategic importance of them was well-known, and losing them would be a severe blow to both alliances. Neik was ready to provide support to his fellow racers in case they succeeded in conquering them; in their eyes, he saw the determination with which they would face this match.

At the opening of the Ports, both alliances managed to secure one each, but the twist was just around the corner...

A grave mistake for N3O.

Wisely awaiting a possible swap, Delthulu seized that very moment to besiege the walls of Targaryen Port and conquer it! 

This was followed by a lightning-fast attack on two other positions with positive results for HOH, putting the match's momentum in their favor with five buildings under their control out of six. Things were looking dire for N3O as they saw their opponent increase their lead by a whopping 4k points; if they didn't want to let the match slip away from their grasp, they had to react immediately!

This was precisely what UrCandy thought when, just before the opening of Casterly Rock, he decided to besiege Targaryen Port, the one lost previously. Its proximity to their base made it difficult for opponents to support, and they couldn't afford to miss out on the points they would gain from it, albeit risking not being able to return to base in time for the siege of CR.

And just like that, during the siege at the port, HOH managed to gain possession of the most important building in the match, and...

The port did not fall!

Delthulu's strong defenses, combined with the wave of troops sent by their comrades, ensured they resisted and repelled the attacks from their rivals.

However, without any time to catch their breath, a series of attacks were launched from N3O's base on Casterly Rock, which was under the command of Xoica, likely one of the strongest warriors in Grombold's alliance. These attacks were also repelled. The poor organization in striking the walls with such a difference between one attack and another played a key role, and the defense was ultimately simple for HOH.

The second phase, however, concluded with a twist: taking advantage of the confusion caused by the attacks, STRAW BERRY joined the N3O group to face a possible Ultimate Conquest phase together with them, especially after HOH eliminated their alliance DUM from it. STRAW BERRY cunningly managed to gain control of Lannister Port by defeating the rival defenses with a series of surprise attacks, giving them a breath of fresh air; hope for N3O was still alive!

Caught off guard, the leaders of HOH immediately decided to reclaim it, ordering their rally leaders to besiege its walls as soon as possible. They couldn't give their rivals any chance and needed to close the match as soon as possible, as it could be fatal considering their strength and combat experience.

Under B3nni's command, anticipating a possible HOH attack on the newly conquered Lannister Port, N3O decided once again to besiege Targaryen Port.

Both alliances were on the brink of engaging in a bloody battle in their respective ports, and...

The first strikes came from Neik's group, the attacks against STRAW BERRY's defenses were so lethal that they managed to break through them in no time. As soon as the last blow, delivered by DreadEye, secured its possession, the troops immediately turned to defend against the imminent attack on Delthulu.

These defenses were decisive, as they arrived just in time to support their comrades who were under severe pressure from the enemy siege but managed to withstand it thanks to timely assistance!

The series of attacks concluded with both ports under HOH's control! At this point, the advantage was a significant 9k points for Grombold's alliance, which today was proving superior to its historic rival until...

Swift attacks managed to annihilate the defenses of Casterly Rock first, and then Targaryen Port!

N3O's strategy, likely devised by leader UrCandy, to attack Casterly Rock just as the troops supporting the port returned to their base paid off, and without a moment's delay, attacks were launched towards the port as well. It meant one thing: the match was still alive and kicking!

It was a grave mistake for HOH to let go of control over two key buildings in the match. At this point, all N3O had to do was repel the likely imminent assaults to close the gap created during the early stages and then conquer the mines to win the encounter—an incredible and completely unexpected turn of events!

Neik couldn't believe it; all the effort to create that 9k-point lead would go up in smoke if they couldn't reclaim Casterly Rock.

Grombold immediately ordered the gathering of armies; besieging the castle walls was imperative!

N3O's defense was astounding.

Not one, not two, but three waves of attacks were repelled by B3nni, who once again proved his mettle on the battlefield. Supported by his loyal comrades, they swiftly repelled all waves of attacks launched by their rivals.

After the failure to reclaim Casterly Rock, where all of Grombold's faction's efforts were concentrated, N3O followed up with the conquest of many buildings on the battlefield, taking the lead in terms of possession. This brought the match to a phase of equilibrium.

There remained only one ace up HOH's sleeve...

At this point, the focus shifted to the mines. Having reached the end of the mid-phase of the match and seeing their efforts in the early stages nearly rendered futile, Neik and his companions had no choice but to conquer both mines if they wanted to hinder their rivals' entry into the Ultimate Conquest and avoid a painful comeback.

"The challenge in the mines will be incredibly difficult, but we must fight with the lightness of those who have nothing to lose," Neik said, reminding his comrades that although a victory today would have special significance for them, qualification in UC was guaranteed.

"Let's focus and close this season in the best possible way," were the leader's words before the imminent opening of the mines.

The racers were ready to be faster than ever despite the mud created on the battlefield due to the heavy rain falling on their heads, with the sound of it providing accompaniment to the match, occasionally interrupted by thunder that tore through the cloudy sky, briefly illuminating the battlefield.

The last phase of the encounter began...

The balance between the two alliances prevailed once again as they each managed to secure one mine! This outcome favored N3O, but despite this, to ensure victory in the match, they decided to immediately attack Lannister Mine where control was under Job5ter's command. The attacks inflicted severe damage on the defenses of the warriors defending HOH, but they were not enough to breach their defenses.

At this point, Grombold ordered a counterattack on Targaryen Mine where its defense was entrusted to Ana, a member of N3O's officers and possessed incredible combat experience. Neik and the other rally leaders set out to lead the assault, but their timing in striking the walls wasn't great; the mud created on the battlefield slowed them down, preventing them from besieging the walls in unison, a problem that didn't seem to afflict the troops supporting N3O's defense. There was still time for one last siege before it was too late, and the timing of the second wave seemed decidedly better than the first... but once again, the defense was masterful.

The celebrations for it could be heard in the distance as it tasted like victory, and indeed it was. There was no time to prevent a painful comeback defeat against a historic adversary like the group led by UrCandy.

The victory of the sixth round went to... N3O.

The best fighters of the match were:

UrCandy for N3O. One of the most anticipated members didn't disappoint expectations, and together with his most loyal companions like Meridianos and TheOnlyKing, he managed to lead the alliance into UC. His remarkable strikes propelled him to the top position of the match!

Job5ter for HOH. The determination with which he held control of the mine was notable, but it was only the icing on the cake of a masterfully fought match. He couldn't do more against an opponent of this caliber.

The defeat was painful; after a stunning start, no one expected to suffer such a comeback, but as they say, it's part of the game. Neik wasn't satisfied at all; he wanted to emerge victorious from the match. However, until the next match, all he could do was ponder over it.

"We gave it our all, and we were so close to making it. The commitment shown on the battlefield was still great, and I'm sure when we meet them in Ultimate Conquest, things will go differently!" were the farewell words spoken by the leader, trying to lift spirits before leaving the battlefield with his comrades.

Thus concluded the season of Alliance Conquest with a historic record of four wins and two losses. There was little time to regain energy because Ultimate Conquest was on the horizon!

Who would be their first opponent, and more importantly, would they be able to equal or even surpass the stunning third place achieved in the previous season?
