Prologue

LadySam awoke with a start, sitting up in bed she realized she had a terrible dream. She arrived at the tournament grounds for Alliance Conquest and she was the only member of UnC there!. Getting out of bed, she reached for her robe and threw it over her shoulders before heading for the kitchen. The castle was quiet and she requested a mug of hot cider to start her day.

LadySam made the connection of her dream and her constantly reviewing the results of the current season of Alliance Conquest. In their last match of the season, only one opponent participated. Alliance chat was quiet save for a few random hellos every now and then. It has been said that a dead chat is a dead alliance.

Her thoughts went back to her few conversations with STar, her friend and duke of HVD; they were located on K335 and LadySam had met several of their members through Arena of Honor. A solid alliance and knowing STar, well organized as well. LadySam decided it was time for action; she would ride to see STar and seek her counsel.

LadySam headed back to her chambers to clean up and get dressed for the day, Bezedash had left to hunt rebel leaders and she would talk with him when she returned.

LadySam gathered her alliance records and put them in a leather satchel before heading for the stables.

The Meeting

The roads were kind and LadySam had made remarkably good time getting there. Greeted at the gate, she was led into the castle. It was an impressive castle, the HVD Sigil on display in the halls and the War Room where they would hold their meeting.

STar entered moments later and greeted LadySam with a smile. “It’s good to see you.” she said. LadySam echoed the greeting. Star motioned for her to take a seat and said “This is a surprise, what can I do for you?”

LadySam set the satchel on the table and took her seat. “I need advice.”  She went through the concerns she had with the alliance and went on for several minutes. All the while, STar nodded her head and listened closely.

As LadySam explained the issues that UnC was facing and asked what STar’s secret was. From all appearances, HVD was doing very well. STar nodded and for a moment looked tired,  Smiling she replied “There is no secret and HVD has its own issues. We have a great group of lords and ladies and yet.”

She didn’t finish the thought before the door to the War Room opened and Neveziad entered. He is a lord of renown, well trained and part of HVD’s council. “Ladies,” he said before taking an empty chair at the table. The two ladies greeted the knight and Star explained the reason for LadySam’s visit.

By the end of the conversation the word merge had come up several times. It was something that LadySam would have to bring back to her alliance; eyaka 1 for starters. It most certainly would be something that she had to think about on the journey home.

The three said their goodbyes and LadySam headed back to k276. STar and LadySam had thought an exchange of lords and ladies between their respective alliances for a period of time may create some excitement and renewed interest however the members were wary and did not want to participate. 

What transpired in the short time between this meeting and current day is an epic tale of betrayal and frantic actions that led to the creation of TsM. Turtle Soup Mafia.

LadySam was hopeful with the talks of a merger between UnC and HVD; going so far as to share the news with the King on k276 and tell him of her plans. He seemed genuinely pleased about the merge. 

LadySam advised the King that he would need to remove his squires from the alliance to make room for the active lords and ladies of HVD. He didn’t say a word and listened.

Finally he voiced his concern; the alliance would now be split over three kingdoms; 299, 276 and 335 and how it would affect his KVK alliance.  LadySam explained that those on 299 would be migrating to 276 before the next KVK. He asked that the alliance be registered on K299 and LadySam had no issues with sending LadyEfrideet there to facilitate his request.

Whether it was a bad translation or misunderstanding things took a turn for the worst. Castle Siege on 276 was in progress and LadySam went to see LadyEfrideet to have her travel to 299 immediately. 

In the interim; each alliance; UnC and HVD voted on a new name for their alliance and it was determined they would go forth as The Turtle Soup Mafia.

In that short span of time the declaration came from the King that all of the Great Cities would be taken by xNx and any that tried to take them back would be attacked. Having sped to see LadyEfrideet she had failed to advise the rest of the alliance to stand down and leave the castles to xNx.  This led to the brutal attack on silverado’s castle and a great loss of life.

To add insult to injury, the King announced that after the Lord of Lords event the alliance would need to leave the kingdom. Those that remained would be attacked if unbubbled and their nodes burned  

Sending an urgent message to STar and eyaka 1;  LadySam and the new council of TsM convened in an emergency meeting to determine which kingdom they would now call home.

The actions of the King angered LadySam and it was confusing that he would go to such lengths to make life so difficult. They had their disagreements before but were always able to find common ground in the past.

It was a whirlwind and LadySam would be negotiating from a weakened position due to the majority of their new alliance being settled on K335.

The council met and the members spent several hours discussing the benefits and  disadvantages of K299 and K335. LadySam listened and was told that resources would not be an issue and their location on the map was close to several Great Castles.  The argument for K299 was based on the fact that they could have all the Great Castles including King’s Landing and rule the server.

Star explained that those in HVD that enjoyed chasing off invaders and engaging in PVP would not thrive on 299. It was an age old problem; put seven people in a room and you will get seven opinions.

LadySam knew that they would never please everyone and felt compelled to vote for k335.

LadySam left the meeting and her first order of business would be to contact every member on k276 and let them know that they should move to K335.  Assuring those members that could not move that she would stay until the last lord or lady had the scrolls to make the move.

There were three members on 276 that would not move until a permanent server was found because of the cost. Paco Jhones, viruticas and Ferki were not convinced K335 was the answer and would wait to make the expensive move.

In the meantime, LadySam heard from her good friend THE WICH. He was enthusiastic about the merge but had other news. He explained that he would like to join us for All Out War as he had in previous events. LadySam was happy to hear the news and said that she would be honored to have him in the alliance.

LadySam contacted STar and she agreed to allow THE WICH and his squires to join for the event. 

The lords and ladies of TsM would have their first test in the event Lost Realm. Although HVD had completed the Dragon Priest on Epic, UnC had not so they would need to complete that level to move forward.

Neveziad offered to be the tank for the event and it was agreed upon by the others. As they headed to the battle, last minute preparations were completed. LadySam was a full medic; changing talents and equipment to increase carrying capacity. 

The closer they got, the darker the sky became. Heavy dark clouds seemed to appear out of nowhere. Thunder could be heard in the distance and it created a foreboding feeling in the pit of LadySam’s stomach. 

The tank took his place to the North of the evil Dragon Priest and the others formed a semi-circle south.

As the battle began, LadySam was sure to disable simplified mode so she could see when the Dragon Priest let loose his area of effect attack. Ensuring that she could heal the tank and increase his resilience right before it hit.

LadySam watched as a few lords and ladies succumbed to the fiery attack. She was determined to make a good impression on her new alliance mates.

Halfway through the battle, several lords and ladies had used up all of their life saving wheat. LadySam, eyaka 1 and several others were still able to keep the tank alive and defeat the Dragon Priest.

Although several had fallen, the newly created TsM Alliance was victorious.  Their next hurdle would be the Epic difficulty of the dreaded Urax Dragon!

With the infusion of talented lords and ladies it seemed that TsM would do well in the future. One other great test will be the All Out War tournament. Not only an epic battle but a battle of wits and cunning. Diplomacy and strategy would decide the winners and losers of the event.

Epilogue

As LadySam returned to k276, her mind buzzing with plans and possibilities, another round of the Game of Thrones was about to begin. With alliances shifting, strategies evolving, and new challenges emerging, the stage was set for another epic chapter in the ongoing saga of power and ambition.

But amidst the chaos and uncertainty, one thing remained clear: alliances would rise and fall, but those who navigated the treacherous waters of Westeros with wisdom and cunning would write their names in the annals of history.

And so, as the sun set on the horizon, casting its golden light upon the realm, LadySam knew that whatever the future held, she would face it with courage and determination, for in the Game of Thrones, only the bold and the cunning could hope to claim the ultimate prize.

Epilogue II Star's Point of View

As Star watched the shifting alliances and heard of LadySam's plans, she knew that this new round of the Game of Thrones would bring both opportunities and dangers. With each move, she had to consider not only the immediate consequences but also the long-term effects on HVD and their position in the realm. But Star was not one to shy away from challenges; she embraced them, knowing that true strength lay not only in power, but in adaptability and foresight.
