K276 has been characterized by being peaceful for a little over two years, since UnC became the sole alliance in the kingdom. While there have been some tensions between the king and the duchess, they hadn't escalated.

UnC merged with part of an alliance located in K299 some time ago, and almost all members still remain there. This hadn't been an issue until two KvKs ago, where they had to battle almost until the end of the war for Nazgul, the alliance where K276 warriors unite, to obtain first place in alliances. UnC was making many points, not precisely from members residing in the kingdom of Vangark, but from those residing in K299.

This was already worrying the king and The Wich those days, but in the last war, they were relegated to second place. This time it was Shin who spoke up; it seemed inconceivable to him that Nazgul would be in second place after making 90% of the kingdom's points.

Vangark thought the best solution was to move the duke of Nazgul to K299 so they could rightfully obtain first place. Shin and Chayle agreed, but The Wich had his doubts.

Weeks passed, and that idea had been forgotten until Ladysam, the duchess of UnC, informed the king that their alliance would soon merge with another alliance located in K335, HVD. This alliance housed former inhabitants of K276, mostly members who belonged to H0D, an alliance that often tried to thwart conquerors but failed mainly due to their lack of courage to carry out their plans.

For the king, the problem wasn't UnC merging with former enemies; the problem now was that this alliance in KvK would generate points from three different kingdoms.

When his friends The Wich and Shin were in the castle, he informed them of what would soon happen with that alliance of the kingdom. Shin immediately noticed the king's concern.

"What will you do?" Shin asked.

"I will send the duke to K299," the king replied.

The Wich didn't seem to fully understand the problem of having that alliance with members in three different kingdoms, and there was also a conflict of interest since he had four vassals in UnC.

Without waiting, Vangark communicated this to Lady Sam, who initially thought the king was against UnC growing and increasing the number of active members. That wasn't a problem for him; the problem was how Nazgul would be affected in KvK. They not only had to fight with enemies but also had to fight to the end for every point because UnC members in other kingdoms were scoring points for that alliance without being in the kingdom.

The leader of UnC protested that the king's decision to send the duke of Nazgul to K299 meant that the former alliance of some of its members would be relegated to second place. That didn't matter to the king; it was her problem now. Faced with Lady Sam's insistence, he proposed that the duchess move to K299, meaning Lady Efrideet, but she refused because she would be the duchess for AoW, and it wasn't her intention to move kingdoms. He fell silent, and after a moment, he indicated that from the next day, Nazgul would take possession of all the Great Cities of the kingdom.

As he turned to rejoin his friends, she muttered some words that the king dismissed.

"Tomorrow Nazgul will take possession of all the castles if UnC doesn't decide to move its duke,"

"I agree, we've given them all the great cities, including Kings Landing; they have to yield," Shin said.

"But why don't we move our Duke to another kingdom?" The Wich asked, now concerned about his friends' determination.

"Why should we?" Shin asked. "They have three kingdoms to choose from. If they choose this one, we move to K299, but they still protest."

"AoW is approaching; I'll fight in UnC. We won't have the buffs from the great cities," The Wich replied.

"They have two other kingdoms where they can get them," Vangark replied.

"The siege tomorrow is early; if you need my troops, they'll be with you," Shin added.

After a while, The Wich understood and had no choice but to support the majority's decision. The next morning, as the king, like every morning, went hunting for rebel leaders, he sent Nazgul's vassals to take the great cities. But Winterfell was captured by a member who didn't belong to UnC but to another alliance. He immediately ordered Winterfell to be recovered, but once this was done, that intruder took it again. He immediately understood that it was a vassal of some UnC member who didn't dare to show his face and sent his subject to do the dirty work. So, once the hunt was over, the king joined Nazgul, recaptured Winterfell, and attacked that impertinent one. Along with it, he wrote two words for the whole kingdom to read: "Final warning," anyone intelligent would understand that this was a sentence for anyone who dared to take a Great City.

The king joined another hunt after peace returned to the kingdom, and as he was about to finish, King's Landing had been taken by UnC, then Winterfell followed suit. Peace was disrupted again; at first, he thought it was a revolt, sent a message to Shin, alerted his vassals and Chayle, that all should prepare to fight. Vangark had received reports that Paco Jhones, one of the strongest of UnC, was ready for combat but remained immobile in his alliance's hive. If war broke out, he would be the first to attack; defeating the strongest had shown him in the past that it meant bringing his enemies to their knees. After all, that's what he did when he conquered this kingdom, attacking the queen, who was the strongest in these lands, attacking her until she had no troops left, and her alliance dissolved, and she left K276. If a conflict were to start, it could mean attacking those who once fought alongside him, but in the king's eyes, they were the selfish ones who refused to yield.

"Shall we move to Nazgul?" Shin asked, sword in hand.

"It's just one," Chayle intervened. "It's Silverado." It was a single member, one of those who succumbed to conquest, and now was also trying to take Eyrie.

Vangark, already armored, did nothing but attack, mercilessly. Perhaps if it had been the same duchess of UnC who was taking that castle, he would have done the same; there was no room for hesitation in these instances. Silverado was devastated by the attack, and its Lord was taken prisoner. This was seen by all members of UnC, even those residing in other kingdoms. Lady Sam immediately ordered not to recover the castles, understanding what she would face if anyone did. Paco Jhones raised his bubble, and the king in a clear message indicated to the UnC leader that any attempt to recover a castle would be a declaration of war against him, and he wouldn't hesitate to attack. With that, he also executed the Lord of Silverado to send another signal.

Entering a war for UnC could alienate those who were recently joining their alliance, and reluctantly,

Lady Sam decided that her alliance, now called TsM, would reside in K299, as she would send Lady Efrideet there, and she communicated this to Vangark; the king didn't even respond; he went about his neglected affairs.

UnC chose the worst option; the duchess's stubbornness against Nazgul moving its duke to K299, not to harm the former alliance of some of its members, resulted in them having to move their duke and also meant losing all the great cities since until today in K299, they only own Kings Landing, and the members residing in K335 are only around Kings Landing. The king would no longer move his duke to any other kingdom; in the short term, he wouldn't give up the great cities, nor would he hesitate to raise his spear if necessary.
