Hi everyone, i’m PO PandaMoratia. In today’s article we will talk about the Legion of Frostborne Campaign and how to navigate Zone 1.

Beginning : 

At the opening of the Frostborne Campaign, all Gates are protected by a shield and cannot be captured. That means you are stuck for a while in your home map but you still have tasks to do.

-Gather resources to be able to manufacture Thermal Tower.

-Construct Thermal Tower.

-Learn who are your allies and who are your enemies.

-Capture City from the gnomes when Chronicle allows you to.


Z1 to Z1 gate opening : 

When the shield at the Z1 to Z1 gate falls, this is when things will start to get bloody. Following your leader's commands is extremely important and requires quick reaction and good blood rage management. You need to think twice before triggering your BloodRage because that will make you unable to move for 10 minutes, and a lot can happen in 10 minutes.

Leaders cannot macro-manage everyone and it is very important to understand the goals at this stage of the campaign so you can take initiative and make yourself useful where you're needed.

The objectives at this stage of the Campaign are, usually in this order : 

-To make sure your border (map under the control of you and your allies) is not under attack.

-Conquer new territory by taking and controlling Z1 to Z1 gates to new maps. (A gate is fully under control when you have Thermal on both sides of it).

-Taking control of Z1 to Z2 gates by placing your thermal tower at them.

-Take away the cities from your opponents control.

Obviously your opponents will have the same objectives and will not go quietly, so expect many heavy fights around thermal tower control and objectives.


Conclusion : 

The Z1 to Z1 gate opening stage is often decisive in determining the winning side. If you can take control of all Z1 to Z2 access points, there is almost no chance for your opponent to come back. They usually surrender at this point. Cutting their losses, the rendition allows them to negotiate some city back in their control before the season ends and still get some rewards at the end of the campaign. Due to this fact, it is usually the most costly and bloody stages of the entire campaign because all sides want to push as hard as they can to secure their wins.
