After enduring a harsh autumn on their SoW Campaign, where they barely emerged triumphant in their goals of reaching top 100 and 3 victories, SKR and Ashun faced a new challenge as they prepared for Champion's City Siege. To understand this event and the significance of it for SKR, as well as who SKR is, let's look deeper into who they are.

SKR, a formidable 100b alliance, had set its sights on a top-100 finish in the last season of the Siege of Winterfell. Their ambitious goal included securing three victories in the six matches ahead. With the addition of Ashun, a formidable warrior armed with a fresh strategic approach for everyone that was part of SKR before him, and other recruits that were bound to give SKR a new revitalised focus, they initially believed their journey would be smooth. However, halfway through the season, they found themselves in a slump, with just one win in four matches. The pressure was on as they needed back-to-back victories, a feat they barely achieved. It was thanks to a lot of luck that they managed to do it.

Motivated by the results that SKR had in achieving their goals, Ashun set his sights on the upcoming CCS, aiming not only to participate but also to fight as many opponents as possible. Not all members of SKR shared his optimism, with skepticism lingering amongst them due to how every fight was either too tight or impossible to win. This time around they knew the opponents will be many, thus the outcome can be anything. Among the concerned was Sir ST, the srtongest of the alliance, whose feats exceeded his own expectations as his nature was to doubt his own capabilities.

So, what is the CCS? It's a battleground where rival Kingdoms' alliances clash for occupying a Fortress, they engage in a relentless fight to occupy it. The victor is the one who holds the fortress the longest. A seemingly straightforward concept, yet requiring incredible organization if you want to win, fortunately, organisation is a strength SKR possessed.

In the hours preceding the event, SKR, led by Ashun, held a meeting for a strategic plan near the Alliance Hall, surprising Sir ST, who expected few participants. Seeing the incredible participation of the SKR members, Ashun, fueled by the opportunity, grew even more enthusiastic, making it a point that SKR had to depart as soon as possible.

As they set out for the event the nature seemed full of life for Ashun, as if to symbolise a refreshing fight ahead of them, he embraced every second of it as he enjoys being out in the nature before a fight. He considers this revigorating ever since his SLO days months ago, where he would often wander outside before fights began. SLO was the alliance which Ashun created, now merged into SKR. When they arrived, SKR immediately confronted their adversaries, it seemed as if they were against an incredible amount of alliances all at once, it was going to become a brawl inside the Adamant Fortress. Ashun and Sir ST both turned speechless, the plan they came up with wouldn't work if everyone is going to fight all at once, it would just constantly swap the alliance occupying the fortress until only one remains as the victor. This was for sure a disadvantage for SKR as they lack experience in this field as well as the numbers compared to their opponents. They were up against a few very known alliances throughout Westeros, such as KAC, RRH and AIA. They were all sublime fighting alliances.

The battle commenced, with everyone starting their march towards the Fortress at once. This included SKR's Ashun and Sir ST, they were going to test the ground before letting their bannermen risk their lives. They were going to act as scouts. RRH's fighters and AIA seemed to clash immediately, covering the otherwise quiet nature with their steel sound clashing each other, as well as terrified screams accompanied by warcries.

KAC hadn't jumped right into the crossfire, rather they aimed to separate their forces and take RRH out that way. Ashun was stunned at the gore sight, it was very hard for his stomach, despite him seeing so many things in battle, this was a much more gruesome sight to behold. ''Let's not risk them'' Sir ST whispered, knowing that if they enter such a fight, no one in SKR would stand a chance. Ashun's face was enough to confirm his agreement, thus signaling everyone in SKR that they were not going to fight tonight. Sir ST departed, going back to the camp where SKR was, waiting for Ashun to follow as soon as he felt well again.

But how would that happen? He kept on watching the events unfold before his eyes, he couldn't look away despite everything. He was scared and petrified, yet his body wanted to fight. To his body, the fighting came naturally, but his mind was distraught by the intense fight in front of him, he felt stuck, he was stuck.

Whilst Ashun had these thoughts and feelings unfold, KAC with a formidable execution, had fully executed the AIA fighters. It was now a battle on a much smaller scale, but it was entirely dominated by KAC. A few of their fighters, not having an opponent from RRH to deal with, went to search the surrounding area. This meant Ashun was in trouble, his body still refused to move, he couldn't ask for help or it would alert the enemy. Each passing second more and more intense as his cover was all that kept him away from a certain death.

Soon enough, he could hear them walk nearby, causing his heart to jump. He stopped his breath to avoid being found, hoping in his mind that this will make them not check where he is stationed at. KAC was now closer than ever to him, but no one seemed to pay much attention to Ashun's whereabouts. He could breathe a sigh of relief, as he was safe.

As soon as the KAC fighters went away, their main army got a hold of the Fortress, asking everyone else to retreat back to hold. It was Ashun's cue to run back to SKR, although he could barely do it.

When Ashun reached his comrades, SKR left the battlefield with nothing but a sour feeling of being defeated, having not engaged in a proper fight but also with a very happy Sir ST, who was enjoying the fact that everyone was still alive. They departed defeated, yet with a valuable lesson avoid unnecessary risks and knowing that they are not at this level of performance yet. While Ashun regretted his stand the whole time and how he couldn't control himself, both Sir ST and he were relieved that everyone emerged alive. Ashun would recover and shift his focus to the challenges that lay ahead in the coming Alliance Conquest season, it is just around the corner.
