A period of peace and carefreeness was prevailing in the realm of K345. Its rulers, who were part of the FDH alliance, were enjoying this unusual moment: they weren't accustomed to having no alliance commitments to follow, so they had to keep themselves busy with their daily activities, such as ensuring the safety of their realm among the other member states.

However, this couldn't last forever. Their next event was approaching, and it was right around the corner: it was another Kingdom vs Kingdom! This time, their assigned opponents were from the realm K65.

Similar to Neik and his companions' situation, it was a small realm with only a few alliances present. Governing over it was undoubtedly HouseGreyjoy (HOG), an alliance with modest numbers, but the majority of them were situated precisely in the territory of Neik and his companions' upcoming adversaries. It seemed like it wouldn't be an easy encounter.

"I need to confide something in you," said Tominy.

"What's going on, my friend?" Neik replied.

"As you might have heard, together with Knot, I intend to change the scene and try a new path in a different alliance... and that means we'll also have to move to a different realm to provide support to our new alliance comrades."

The news was like a bolt from the blue. The rumors that had been circulating about many FDH members leaving the alliance were indeed coming true, but they didn't expect that Tominy and Knot would change realms as well!

Neik, understandably shaken by the news, could do nothing but accept his friend's decision; after all, there was no other solution.

"You'll be missed, but if one day you change your mind, we'll always be here waiting for you," he said, trying to lift their spirits for the impending challenge that awaited them.

"Thank you, you'll be missed too. Let's focus and give it our all, defeating our opponents in this final challenge together, for the realm of K345, ending this adventure with a victory!" Tominy concluded, addressing his group of friends.

There was an unavoidably shaken atmosphere; the departure meant losing the two pillars of K345 who had reigned for time immemorial and who had welcomed Neik, Ferrious, Ms Mayhem, and MiloBirdiee among them. But there was no time to dwell on that – the imminent start of the battle required all the attention possible.

"The plan is simple and as follows: this time, I'll be controlling King's Landing along with the others who will strike the enemy mines and defend those of our MFT allies. Meanwhile, Neik will go scouting for enemies. When I'm not around anymore, it will be your responsibility to take care of that," and indeed, the significant responsibility that Tominy had in this event, which was to uncover potential adversaries plotting attacks against their realm, would, willingly or unwillingly, fall on his shoulders. Neik replied, "Don't worry, I'll do my best."

And so, the final challenge for the group began...

Beginning of hostilities

The beginning of the event was quite calm; after all, as could be understood, the adversaries were very clever not to draw attention to themselves, as this wasn't a no-loss KvK, and any troop losses would be real and painful for the members of both realms.

The MFT group led by Merlin, allies of K345, immediately got to work gathering resources, well protected by the fighters from FDH who were patrolling the area. Tominy was busy guarding the centerpiece of the event, the control of King's Landing. It was crucial for achieving the ultimate victory, as it provided an incredible number of points per minute to the owning realm.

As the first few hours passed, Neik was seen returning with his troops on the horizon; their armor bore the marks of battles just fought.

"I encountered three small groups from HOG, and I decided to confront them right away before they could rally and attack us together. It was quite easy," he said.

"We haven't found anyone yet. It seems like they're not eager to reveal themselves for now," Ferrious added, while he and MiloBirdiee were on standby for possible attacks against members of their own realm.

"Great job, let's keep guarding. If we continue like this, we'll secure an easy victory," Tominy concluded.

Several hours passed, and the event was favoring K345 by a small margin. Even though K65's approach seemed somewhat passive, they were quite cleverly accumulating hidden points through resource gathering.

Neik thought that this couldn't be the only thing keeping the score almost equal. So, he went on a reconnaissance mission to search for enemies busy with resource gathering, but...

Storm's End

Once he arrived in Storm's End, he noticed that the castle was garrisoned by troops from an enemy previously unknown until then. In a heartbeat, and without any hesitation, as was his custom, he decided to launch an attack and break through its defenses, and...

The attack was successful. His opponent was Pupitza, who wasn't part of the HOG group and was in the K65 completely on their own. The battle was easy for Neik; with numerical superiority and the opponent's cavalry troops, his spearmen with a weakness setup had no trouble emerging victorious. Some of the defeated troops attempted to flee, and as Neik pursued them...

He stumbled upon Pupitza's base, and while scouting it, he noticed something horrifying...

An infinite number of troops on enemy base! Fortunately, Neik was not reckless this time but rather unusually decided to observe his opponent before attacking.

"Tominy, we need to hurry!" Neik exclaimed and quickly returned to his companions.

"What's happening?" Tominy responded.

Neik explained the type of opponent he had found and the quantity of troops present. The immediate decision was to go and guard the enemy base.

"Ferrious and MiloBirdiee are on a scout, Ms Mayhem will stay here to defend our allies, it'll be just me, you, and Knot," Tominy said as they launched themselves into the assault against the formidable foe.

Upon reaching their destination, they immediately encircled the opponent, leaving no escape route. They started striking the enemy base with two rallies initiated by Tominy, reinforced by the troops of Neik and Knot.

The inflicted damage was immeasurable; every attack launched by the FDH group's leader meant millions of troops lost for the opponent, who could do nothing but absorb the blows and defend as best they could. After the second attack, Neik turned to his companion, saying:

"Can I launch an attack too? I'd like to test my abilities since you won't be leading us from the next match."

Despite Tominy being in the running for the event's top spot, he understood the reason behind Neik's request and agreed. And so, Neik initiated the rally, supported by Knot and Tominy's troops, and struck his opponent...

The battle led by Neik against Pupitza resulted in a victory with losses on the opponent's side almost as significant as those from Tominy's attacks. Tominy was pleased to see his companion from many battles had become so strong.

"You've learned well," he said playfully as they walked away from the defeated opponent's base, now stripped of millions of troops.

It was the attacks inflicted on poor Pupitza that put an end to the hostilities. Every troop lost by the opponent meant delivering points to the hostile realm. After these rallies, a huge gap had opened up for K345, which could be filled over time through resource gathering. So, the winners are indeed them, the realm of K345!

The event's podium was obviously occupied by the trio that concluded the encounter, with Tominy leading the way, followed by Neik in second place, and Knot in the last spot. They thus claimed the coveted prize: level five diamond mines on the following day!

Celebrations

During the celebrations for their victory, Tominy let out a few words:

"Thank you all for the time spent and the events fought together. We've achieved victories and rewards by fighting side by side. I'll always be at your disposal if you need me, and I hope we'll meet again in the future."

Visibly moved, Neik replied:

"It's been an honor to fight by your side. Thank you for all the teachings and for helping me become a better fighter. I also hope that one day we'll meet again, hopefully in these lands that will always be welcoming to you."

And so, the celebrations with a bit of melancholy went on and on...

And so, their adventure together came to an end, with one final victory...
