Alliance Conquest - A League - Play offs - GdB vs VoV

It is round two of the Season 13 play offs and we have a match between GdB and VoV.

The two alliances are pretty close together in their Total Scores so this has the makings of being an exciting match.

Let us first have a look at the top power players from each alliance.

We can also have a look at the stratagems for this match.

GdB has gone for their usual stratagems. So we have the passive stratagem All out charge, which increases total attack by 40%, the passive stratagem Alliance Conquest Healing, which increases healing speed by 40% and the active stratagem Priceless Mobility, which increases marching speed by 40% for three minutes.

And finally before we look at the match we can see what the debuff is going to be for this round.

WINTER SNOW

Timer is at zero time to run for those opening buildings!

It is an even start for both alliances with two buildings each.  GdB has the Tower of the Warrior and the enemy Outpost.  VoV has the Temple of the Mother and the enemy Outpost.

There is an immediate rally on the Temple of the Mother but it fails and xGunx holds on there.

Next up we have the Ports opening.  Who is going to come out on top at the Ports?  There are good first capture points available here along with good points per minute for occupancy.

VoV has the fastest racers and takes both Ports.

As soon as the bubble drops on the GdB Port they are straight in there with their rallies and Theta8 cannot hold it. The fastest runner this time from GdB is isung.

Castelry Rock has also dropped its bubble and GdB manages to get the Rock the fastest also.

GdB also manages to take the enemy Port and VoV have taken over at the Tower of the Warrior.

The points rate per minute is looking very good for GdB at the moment but it is early in the match yet and anything can and usually does happen!

VoV rally and take their Port back and GdB are also rallying and they take over at the Temple of the Mother.

The Strongholds are away to open up next.  Will VoV get there first this time or will GdB find their racing shoes?

A double take of the Strongholds for GdB!!!

VoV are rallying though and they are going for Casterly Rock , will GdB manage to retain control of the Rock?

It is going to be a close one!  Can wood lord hold it for GdB?

No is the answer to that question, Raven Banner takes over Casterly Rock for VoV.

The action moves away from Casterly Rock and wood lord takes back our Outpost while Rock Raven from VoV takes the enemy Stronghold.

VoV are pushing hard now and take back the enemy Outpost and also secure the Temple of the Mother at the same time.

But it is not all bad news for GdB.  They have rallied for Casterly Rock and have taken it again along with the enemy Port and their Outpost and finally their Stronghold.

VoV rally back and take over at their Port once more.

Just over five minutes until the Mines open up.

VoV rallies again and manages to take back Casterly just a minute or so before the Mines open.

It is one each at the Mines but VoV are quicker to get reinforcements there and GdB manages to hold onto the Mine they secured briefly.  VoV has both Mines now can GdB get one back?

Yes GdB got their own Mine back. 

It is going to be a very close result.

GdB takes over at the enemy Port but VoV takes it back again and also takes the enemy Outpost.

A few minutes to go, everyone is on tenterhooks!!!

Ah no defeat for GdB although it looked in the last few minutes they had won the match.

That is the end of UC for GdB and what an exciting season it was for them. First time in the play offs for a while , so well done all.
