The mythology of Run's legendary warrior Savvo

We have been discussing warriors, raiders, and people who merely want fame—not glory, mind you—all this time, my dear reader. He was the most dreaded of all of them, and possibly the one who stood out the most for his ferocity, his resolve, and his resistance—qualities that reaped passions, resentment, and a craving for vengeance.

In the midst of a battle, how did you spot him saber, spear, or shield?

The symmetrical silhouette of our warrior, with his triumphant arm raising the body of a poor soldier, dead, inert, exposing the sweaty chest of the victim to the sun, was drawn there, as if it were a pyramid of sacrifices, a mountain of bodies, illuminated by the midday sun, their perspiration mixed with blood, mud, and slime.

We were able to recognize Savvo as he was looking for his victims, dear reader.

Nobody knows exactly when our character's desire for notoriety and attention first developed. However, there is something that becomes apparent through simple observation, dear reader. You need a nimble, light army without any siege weapons to travel to so many kingdoms.

And this is what makes Savvo special; despite the claims of many elders that it was a strategy of his alliance, you must realize that it is difficult to sustain that attitude, that resolve not to allow your castle to expand or your warriors to invade other realms more quickly or frequently.

It is simple to give in to the lure of not just showing bravery but also building up larger armies that will inspire different kinds of respect from other warriors.

However, this is where our tale starts, dear reader. No one could have predicted or even conceived of this day.

A day that shocked everyone in Westeros—including our Ladies and Lords, the wall guardians, the spearmen of Sun's Spears, and even me—is the reason I'm telling you this tale.

Run made the decision to attack kingdom 96, and as was customary, he did so first, followed by his equally vengeful companions.

They began as Run and Savvo always do, my darling and voracious reader. They completely demolished everything in their way with a blade and a spear. They left nothing in their wake as they traveled through every settlement in the kingdom.

But I'm going to pause for a while right now. I'm going to take a sip of wine and tell you, dear reader, that every warrior experiences times in his life when he relies too heavily on himself.

Not knowing how to realize our boundary is a moment of profound weakness, not one of glory.

And our already well-known warrior experienced the following:

When the Lord of Savvo was trapped by soldiers with less experience but greater value than our fighter, this foe, it was at that very moment in a foreign nation that they made the decision that enough was enough and that they should stop.

AND I REMAIN A WITNESS TO THAT SPECIAL MOMENT IN WESTEROS HISTORY BY KEEPING THIS SCROLL I FOUND IN CITADEL.

Now, I wish I could tell you that this occurrence calmed the warrior's spirit, but unfortunately that was not the case. He continued to send his forces on a deadly pursuit without the army's supreme commander and at great cost.
