Is a fact! Killing rebel leaders is the most important task for players. There is no other way for someone to grow the power of their personal account. For alliances to be able to participate and be competitive in events, it is required that all members kill as many rebel leaders as possible.

There are 5 levels of rebel leaders and the higher the level, the better the rewards, but also more challenging and expensive to kill. Besides the personal rewards that you can get every time you attack one, you and all your alliance members also get a chest with a reward when a rebel leader is killed.

The reward list is very long but the most desired rewards are diamonds, resources, speedups, and alliance coins.

There are many different types of rebel leaders from all 4 troop types available (infantry, cavalry, spearmen, and bowmen). There isn’t any mathematical support on this matter to prove this, but it is accepted by the community that there is also a counter effect just like in normal PvP.

For this guide, we will use lvl5 rebel leaders as an example, but you can adapt everything to lower levels.

Besides the different commander types, there are different types of skills that commanders use after they fill the might bar:

  • Defensive - Abilities that somehow will decrease the damage taken by the enemy
  • CC - Skills that will stun the enemy. Stun means that the enemy will not be able to make normal attacks and consequently not fill the rage bar.
  • Support - Skill that either give a shield to allied commanders or heal.
  • Area Attack - Skill that deals damage in a specific area, being able to inflict damage to a group of enemies.
  • Single target attack - Skill that deals damage to a specific enemy.
  • Stat boost - Skill that increases a certain stat (e.g. Prowess, Defense, ...)

To help, from now on we will use 5 types of commanders, Tanks, damage dealers (DD), Healers, CC, and Special commanders.

Ignoring the special commanders that we will approach later, in theory, a good setup would have one tank absorbing the enemy damage, enough healers and CC commanders to allow the tank to survive the whole battle, and finally, damage dealers to drain as much health as possible from the enemy commander.

Before we name the more common tanks, healers, cc, and damage dealers, we need to individually talk about special commanders.

Enzo

Enzo is by far the most important commander related to rebel leaders. His unique skill allows him to deal a lot of damage to the enemy commander.

Perseverance is really simple to understand, for every 1% health lost, Enzo’s attack increases also by 1%.

Knowing this, all we need now is to build setups with Enzo as a tank (losing as much health as possible without dying). We can easily achieve this using the proper healers and cc commanders.

A good way to build one setup around Enzo is to do a few simple tests. First, you attack with Enzo and one healer, and you watch the battle replay to see how long he lives in battle, and from there you add cc until he will survive until the end.

Sometimes it is better to avoid using healers together with Enzo because then it can happen that Enzo stays too healthy to deal decent damage. Good alternatives are commanders that give shields like Egbert.

In this video we can see Enzo constantly losing health, and healing before dying, and eventually we can notice that every hit from Enzo deals a lot of damage to the enemy.

In this video we can see that Enzo suffers initial damage from the enemy, getting into low health zone but once our commanders start activating their skills, the enemy commander is stunned for all battle, allowing Enzo to survive with very low health and because of that, he deals much more damage.

This method is essentially good when you have low-quality Enzo.

Lareo

As we can see, Lareo’s skill is similar to Enzo’s, he needs to drop below 40% health to be able to steal the enemy’s attack and add it to himself.

Theon

With this skill Theon can add to himself up to 31 045 attack (after 5 stacks), becoming also one of the commanders that are able to deal more damage to the enemy.

Jeane

Jeane isn’t really a special commander like Lareo and Enzo, since both can really deal a very big amount of damage to the enemy in specific conditions. Still, after these 3 commanders, Jeane is probably the best, considering that she can be an offensive and defensive support commander.

From this picture we can understand that she gives attack to allies (offensive), she gives health (defensive) and she also has the ability to remove debuffs.

If you can, all your formations should have at least 1 of these commanders, accordingly to enemy type, and after you make sure you use these ones at their best, you can just add what you need, tanks, damage dealer, or cc commanders. Below I share a list of the more common commanders per type:

Tanks: Chris, Haley, Seg, Robb, Kevin, Gorell

Damage dealers: Arya, Barret, Merrel Peake, Mengo, Arslan, Julien

Supports: Simon, Sansa, Jeane, Annie, Margaery, Tyrion

CC: Egbert, Sheila, Robb, Gorell, Chris

I hope this guide help you kill Rebel leaders easily and i can't wait for your feedback on comments.
