The story today occurred a few months ago in June when BDR was still calling K39 home. ATD had invaded k39 and has constantly been a thorn in BDR's side. KvK for the month of June was approaching and staying in K39 didn't seem viable. Due to the high overall Battle Rating of the kingdom, there was a high chance of us getting matched with another Kingdom with similar power and a lot of very strong players otherwise known as whales.

On top of that our main rally lead God Emperor had no hospitals and as such didn't want to participate in any PvP action for the time being. But BDR members are always thirsty for blood, so to make sure at least some of us got to have some fun, BDR leadership decided that an invasion was on the cards. The unfortunate kingdom that was picked for our visit was k52, the home kingdom of GCM.

There are many players in BDR who were once in GCM, and some of us parted ways amicably while others didn't. BDR and GCM have had a history rife with strife and combat. And GCM does have a reputation for being fighters, so this was likely going to be fun a fruitful invasion. Let's see what happened.

After porting to k52, BDR's hawkeyes zeroed in on various unbubbled targets. There were only a few hours to go before KvK started so a lot of GCM members were taking HoF buffs. One such unfortunate soul was Luna Nera. Danzan wasted no time starting a rally on Luna Nera.

Danzen opted for the female setup (with an odd Chris added in the mix) and went with an infantry spearman formation straight into Luna Nera's spearman-cavalry setup. At 4.9 million, Danzan's rally size might not have been the biggest, but it still shredded through Luna's 12.9 million defense troops like paper! 9.8 million dead troops for Luna while not even 100k dead troops for the BDR side. The presence of multiple dragons in the rally added to its might while Luna had to defend all on her own. Sadly, after that hit GCM prudently bubbled up one and all, and no more action was to be had. So, we waited eagerly for KvK to start.

For this KvK, k52 was pitted against K273, PHR being the main alliance there. As soon as KvK started, k52 pulled ahead by a small margin, while BDR players in the server (invaders if you will) kept their eyes on anyone from the opposing server bold enough to unbubble. We didn't have to wait very long.

Grimalicious was on the hunt and he had found a very juicy target in Lady Vello. Obviously, he wasted no time in starting a rally, which was filled promptly by fillers from all across the map in true BDR fashion.

Well, that could have gone much better. Grim chose the Sinara bleed comp which is quite strong usually, but not into a cavalry front. This was still a win for Grim though as he and the rally fillers had 500k dead troops compared to Lady Vello who suffered more than 2 million outright losses aside from the wounded troops.

But this wasn't going to be the end of her suffering, she was soon surrounded by the BDR swarm, and didn't have any way out. This time the rally was set by Tanalyn, From Grim's previous rally it was quite clear that Lady Vello had a lot of cavalry and spearman troops, and the commanders on her wall reflected the fact, so there was a high chance she would pick the cavalry front again.

As such Tanalyn went with the Jaime weakness comp with Laila and Salma thrown in. She went full spear against Lady Vello who had only about 10 million troops left after the previous hit. The attack was quite devastating, wiping out 96 million battle power and 2.9 million of her troops.

Meanwhile elsewhere Grimalicious found a GCM member unbubbled, BubbleViking peeked his head out of his trusty bubble and BDR was on him in a flash.

Grim's full spear weakness setup smashed into 15.3 million of BubbleViking's troops and were pretty much devastated. Apparently, he has been fighting a little on his own and had a part of his hospitals already filled.

3.7 million of his troops were dead on the spot and he lost about 115 million power compared to a measly 15.5 million power for BDR which is very low considering the losses were spread out between the rally fillers. As soon as the rally hit and the troops were sped back in, Grim decided to go for round two.

This time Grim opted for a mixed formation of spear and cavalry because at this point BubbleViking had a lot of infantry and cavalry troops left in his castle. The attack was pretty devastating again, 4.4 million dead troops, BubbleViking wouldn't be recovering from this KvK in a hurry. There were a few other small skirmishes all through the rest of KvK, and it was all-around fun for those who went to K52 looking for a good time. Hopefully, there will be many more such action-packed KvK in the future as well!
