War...

War never ends. New year, old tradition. You have to prepare for server warfare. After a moment of relaxation and great feasts in castles, the time comes. Everyone lazily sharpens their swords. But is everyone ready for a proper fight, or does the festive atmosphere continue?

This time we have the Lords of Light's Revival edition, where the entire army will return after our struggles.

It's a very cool variation that allows you to test your skills, try out tactics, see what you're still missing, and often requires good cooperation. Unfortunately, the acquisition of tokens is limited by as much as 90% here, which is why some people avoid this edition, even if they have nothing to lose. This edition after the New Year is just fine.

For me, the preparations started the day before. Getting along with friends, joining forces in one alliance, and being fully ready for zero hour. Preparing the settings, checking that everything is in place, and waiting. The army's morale is high as always, with a little stress, even though I know there's no risk here. T1 is already waiting in the hospital, the team is assembled. We're waiting for the enemy...

Zero hour strikes. Our enemy this time is server K434. I always prefer newer servers because they are usually more active, although there are newer servers with very old alliances. We get RLS (SaintLegion), which I know nothing about.

It looks like some new alliance with players from Russia. Several accounts look strong and have over 1B points. We scan the enemy's world. We look for hidden players. We see a lot of RLS alliance accounts, but they won't be the problem. There is this one, found, which we already know surpasses us all in power. To our relief, only(?) Makazinjo from WxD appears, who immediately sets Night King as his lord. We think it's over, another lost KvK. However, he is alone, we can't find anyone else. There is hope.

3...2...1... 00:30 passes and we start the game. A quick jump to the opponent's server, checking potential targets and... silence. Everyone is under the bubble, no one is taking orders, no one is active. A complete disappointment. In that case, we take the castles on both servers and see what happens.

The first hour...

Silence, nothing is happening. We're scoring valuable points right from the start.

We leave our opponent far behind. We managed to get a few smaller castles, but nothing crazy. We wait...

The second hour...

Silence and calm. We spread out across the castles and score more points. We managed to score a few points from attacks, so we already have a huge advantage.

Fourth hour...

This is not what we expected. Is this another dead server? There are too many of them already... although it promised to be an interesting fight at the beginning because there were several castles with considerable power. Part of the KvK team is already asleep. I'm the only one left on guard, but the dark night is putting me to sleep. I hope there will be a fight in the morning.

Morning, or rather the middle of the day.

It happens that you fall asleep on guard duty and miss all the action. That's what happened this time. We continue to win, but our opponent has woken up, or at least the one we feared the most. Makazinjo has shown that he is here for one purpose: to fight in KvK and win. But are we a challenge for him? Will he dominate the entire KvK and push us into defense?

Let's see what happened in the morning. Did my team show their claws and defend bravely?

It was close. The defense on the bows worked very well.

And then, unexpectedly, but quite quickly, Makazinjo was stopped. Despite this, he managed to score some valuable points. In the meantime, several RSL players also became active, so the morning was definitely more active than the whole night.

Afternoon...

Our lead is still decisive. Nothing much should happen now, and certainly nothing will change the result.

So far, it looks like I've missed all the fun. The team fought a little, with more success than I expected. In order not to look bad in front of them, I decided to get motivated and look for some targets. Unfortunately, the castles are empty and all that's left is to observe the surroundings.

After a long time, a target appears that takes over the castles, so after the third attempt, I manage to hunt it down. The attack is already underway, and I'm happy that something is finally going to work out, but the report wasn't very interesting.

It turned out that I got the remains of that player. Unfortunately, the others were faster, so only a few troops remained, which the opponent managed to heal.

Boring...

When everyone was available, we decided to take on Makazinjo’s because it was the only challenge for us. Using my account, we prepared a counterattack on the Kings Landing opponent. The settings weren't optimal, but KvK is fun and there's nothing to lose.

After half an hour, our enemy finally became active and attacked the castle. This waiting time made this report even more interesting than it might seem.

Admittedly, we didn't win, but we showed him that we would defend ourselves and have fun doing it.

We didn't lose T5, unlike our opponent. Also, looking at this army, the result is very satisfactory for us. Happy with this, I decided to tweak the army a bit, change a few settings to make it even more difficult for the opponent, and set up the army again at Kings Landing.

After a few minutes, the first scan was sent. Although the previous attack was blind, this time Makazinjo did not want to take any risks. This scan probably made him realize that he was not here to play, so the attack did not take place. It's a shame, because the result could have been even more interesting.

The end...

Hours passed with nothing interesting happening. The main rival gave up, and the opposing alliance, which had been passive from the start, showed no desire to fight. It's a shame.

Summary

Victory! Even though this was a training KvK where the entire army returns, the opponent chickened out. Only the guy from out of this server showed how to fight. It turned out to be a rather one-sided KvK.

My result is below expectations. Unfortunately, the morning turned out to be crucial here, with several people participating.
