The Trial of Eternal Champions - Champion City Siege Season 68 - [BBY] vs [AfV]

On the last Sunday right before Christmas, the warriors of Westeros were ahead of another challenging event, the Champion City Siege. Unlike Arena of Honor or Alliance Conquest, the Champion City Siege happens only once a month, and for 1 hour a bloodshed is happening on the battlefield between the strongest warriors across Westeros. Another signifiant difference is that kingdoms ain't locking on matchmaking day and instead the warriors are able to port to any kingdom they desire before the fight. Once the matchmaking got completed, [N0X] and K357 found themselves fighting on the Hall of Ages siege and as soon as that was decided, the leadership started looking for friends on the other kingdoms that were matched on the same battlefield.

More than 40 kingdoms were matched together so the searching wasn't going to be easy but if they wanted to participate, they needed to find some very strong rally leaders. They kept looking and looking without much success and then by the end of Saturday when they've lost most of the hope, they got a notice from their friends from [BDR] that a few of them, led by God Emperor, were residing on K227 and [N0X] could join them and try to help him get the first place. They agreed to and notified their members about the finding and anyone available to fight on Sunday should be present on the Hall of Ages battlefield at the fight hour. On Sunday, everyone marched there and to everyone's surprise there were so many of them that they decided to unite under a new banner for the siege, [BBY].

They started entering the battlefield and set camps on the south-east side of the battlefield and once the fight time approached they took a look at what they'll face in the fight. As expected, the battlefield was stacked with very strong warriors, but the main threat was looking to be an alliance made of [WxD] and [RoD] that teamed up under [AfV] banner for the fight.

They were present in bigger numbers on the siege, with more rally leaders and most of their leaders were cavalry while most of the [BBY] rally leaders were infantry so the fight ahead was looking very tough.

The fight started very good for [BBY] with God Emperor managing to be the first that occupies the hall of ages and then everyone in the alliance quickly sent reinforcements as the protection bubble only lasts 10 seconds in Champion City Siege. Once the bubble was down enemies started forming a lot of rallies to try and take the fortress from God Emperor as there wasn't only [AfV] rallying but some other groups of alliances too.

It didn't take long for the rallies to get filled and in a matter of seconds they were already at the Hall of Ages gates ready to challenge God Emperor's forces. If you thought that the battles for city of glory in Arena of Honor are epic you should see the battles in the Champion City Siege, they are most likely 10 times bigger and 10 times bloodier.

Despite having less troops to defend and them being lower tier, God Emperor was doing an excelent job leading [BBY]'s forces into the battle managing to deflect rally after rally with very big casualties though.

Minutes were passing and the [BBY] reinforcers were doing an excelent job holding the Hall of Ages full despite taking very heavy casualties in every wave of rallies.

The [BBY] members also didn't had the numbers in their favor so with every wave of rallies, the Hall of Ages was dropping lower and lower in the reinforcements and the reinforcements that were coming were being quickly eliminated by the rallies.

Despite fighting valiantly after 11 minutes of continuous holding, God Emperor got kicked from the Hall of Ages by STRAW BERRY. [AfV] managed to somehow get their strongest rally lead in and not only that, but he was cavalry and now the question for [BBY] was how you kick someone that counters you and has a better participation on the battlefield? The answer went quickly in form of don't know but let's try anyway. With very few rally leaders that could actually defeat STRAW BERRY and with [AfV] having the numbers on their advantage and since they were on offensive till then, having higher tier troops to lose too it was looking like an uphill battle for [BBY]

Despite that they decided to fight till the end and keep trying to kick [AfV] from the Hall of Ages in hopes they'll be able to kick them from the building. After like half of the battle, Shado and LadyKnight decided to go back into [N0X] to fill Belore II's rallies there and help people that couldn't leave the alliance get the eliminations rewards too. While those rallies were also annihilated at least they managed to do enough damage to fulfill at least that goal of getting the maximum battle diamonds. Not much changed in terms of fortress holding by the end of the fight, despite all [BBY]s efforts they didn't have enough rally leaders to completely kick STRAW BERRY or Sylica from the Hall of Ages.

This season of Champion City Siege didn't end as [N0X] and their allies expected but still, against all odds they managed to help God Emperor get an honorable 3rd place and they all managed to get the elimination points required to get maximum rewards from there. All in all, it was another good season for [N0X] and they're looking forwards to the Season 69(wink wink) now. See you all on the battlefield!
