Hippolyta - How can you use her?

in the last post we talked about Hippolyta,

we saw together her history and some fun facts.

Now we will go to the most interesting part:

How to use Hippolyta for your objectives

Hippolyta is a front-row shield attacker immortal.

Her elemental attribute is fire, so she is vulnerable to water immortal, but can damage really well wind immortals.

Her Ultimate Skill

Her skill is one of the most useful in the game, as you can read down below her skill says:

Fires heavenly fire 5 times, each time inflicting Physical Damage (Damage Rate 120%) on a random enemy troop and reducing its Energy by 100 and attack speed by 10% (stackable) for 6s.

What does it mean?

Well, it means that her skill will damage a random unit, then slow their energy regen down and their attack speed as well.

So she is a really nice commander to use against high speed immortals like Alex.

But an Alex with a special artifact won't be affected that much by her skill, only on the attack speed side.

Though, she could be really nice against Charles for example, since she slows his shield activation down.

Could be really nice to use against Khan as well, slowing down his ultimate skill and therefore postponing the Khan's wound on your team.

Her Exclusive Artifact: Goddesses' Waist Belt

Goddesses' Waist Belt is Hyppolita's Exclusive Artifact.

Its special skill makes your Hippolyta's damage and energy speed suppression be higher.

Hippolyta can now unleash 7 Heavenly Fires with her ultimate skill.

This means that your opponent immortal skills will take more to charge.

Recommended main stat: Physical Attack boost

Recommended Special Attribute: Surge

How can you use Hippolyta?

Well Hippolyta is really versatile, you can use her in your main march to counter Khan and Charles skills for the PvP side or you could use her on the PvE side as well.

How?

Let's see it together.

So, as you can see Hippo skill can be really useful for bosses, especially the fire and earth ones.

Why?

Her skill slows down a random enemy unit, when you fight a boss there is only one unit, so you are sure the skill will be directed to it.

This mean that we have two cases:

Case number 1: the earth boss

the earth boss won't activate his shield fast, so you can inflict more damage, and use less APs to take it down.

Case number 2: the fire boss

the fire boss won't attack your troops fast with its skill, so your troops will last more, do more damage, and die less.

Which skills could be nice on her?

Fighting Will: really good physical damage if your Hippo's HPs get less

Assist: beautiful skill to help Wu getting less damage (works with Fighting Will as combo)

Lifelink: amazing to use the fire boss damage to your advantage, transferring it back to the boss

These are some skills you could use on her, of course you can also use Absolute Defense on her, so that she can last more and use her skill many times.
