[GUIDE] Immortal Spotlight - Himiko

Howdy IK community, today I will talk about Himiko, one of the strongest immortals in Infinity Kingdom. Himiko is an immortal of the Shadow element, she is an iconic figure of Japanese history, and in Norheim she is the most feared immortal to wander the lands. She has one of the highest damage potential, and she has one of the best crowd control abilities in the game. One could even say that she is overpowered, but I'm not the judge, just the observer.

Himiko is an extremely versatile immortal and she can be used in combination with nearly every element in the game, and she will deliver, today we will focus on her more traditional formation, the Shadow team. This march is composed by some of the most fearsome immortals in Infinity Kingdom: Elizabeth Bathory, Siegfried, Bjorn and the shadow Dragon, Melanthios. When in full formation this team could be considered the most powerful offensive force in the whole game, the only team that could offer any resistance to this, is the Holy team, but that is subject for another story.

The first important thing to observe is the dragon that will be supporting the team. Melanthios is the core of the team, the shadow dragon first skill is Dark Breath, which will cause up to 2,000,000 in damage to one random immortal, and cause Mental Decay. Which will cause to one opponent to take 10% of any damage received by an unit in the battlefield (For the record, this is insanely good). His second ability is Eclipse, which has up to 90% chance to silence 3 random enemy immortals, which will make them unable to cast skills or gain energy for 8s (Another extremely good dragon ability). Force of Evil is the third ability, and it will add up to 30% dodge and critical value for all immortals, and increase their damage output by 15% while their HP is higher than 60% (A-M-A-Z-I-N-G). Melanthios could easily be considered the best Dragon in the whole game for an offensive team.

The next step is to observe the synergy between the shadow immortals. Bjorn has tremendous synergy with the whole team, his ability Wither Realm creates a scorched earth around him, that increases the damage taken by the immortals affect by it up to 20%. Simultaneously, it adds 25% physical attack as life steal, and the from-row immortals gain up to 30% additional toughness rate. Bjorn's bonuses are incredibly important for the team, because they add sustain to an incredibly offensive team, at same time as he de-buffs the enemy team by increasing the damage that they take.

The other immortal with great synergy is Elizabeth Bathory, which will cooperate with Himiko to cause constant stuns with her Vimpiric Kiss, which will cause up to 250% damage on two random opponents, for every 3 seconds for 15 seconds, and gain 25% of the damage caused as HP. If the enemy is already under Vampiric Kiss, the target will receive up to 530% and all surrounding enemies will have up to 30% to get stunned for 4 seconds. In other words, another incredible crowd control ability, that works hand-in-hand with her team.

Siegfried is a big damage dealer, and his ability Dragon Strike works in perfect tune with Melhantions and Himiko, by dealing up to 1320% damage equally shared by all targets hit by it.

Of course the spotlight of the team, Himiko. Her ability Demon Ambush, with cause up to 450% damage to all enemy units, and if more than 2 targets are affected by her ability, the back row immortal with the highest troop number will be banished to the void, where they cannot attack, use spells, or be attacked. This could be considered the best ability in the game, because it has incredible damage potential, and crowd control in a single ability. It's the best of both worlds.

Himiko is a magic type of immortal, and she will use skills with magical modifier. The first ability that is mandatory for her is Annihilation, which has a 45% chance of dealing up to 300% magical damage to all enemy units; ulocked at Tower of Knowledge(ToK) level 37. Another great ability is Death Breath, which has a 100% chance of dealing up to 75% Physical damage, and up to 75% Magical damage every 6 seconds. Some people also enjoy utilizing Fighting Master which will provide immunity to Control abilities, and reduce up to 15% of the damage taken by her, this is a guarantee that her damage and crowd control will always reach your enemies. Another great skill for her is Toxin/Fire nova, which has a 50% chance of causing up to 175% magical damage to 3 random opponents, and to inflict poison of up to 75% magical damage once every 3 second for 6 seconds. Another super important skill for Himiko is energy burst, which will provide up to 100 extra energy per critical hit, this will be of great value to accelerate the amount of times that she will cast Demon Ambush, and provide more crowd control attacks against the opponent.
