Shops Galore (Part 1): What to buy?

Managing shop currencies efficiently is one of the most critical factors for long-term progression and battle readiness in Infinity Kingdom. Spending precious resources on the wrong shop items can severely set back your lord level, immortals, and future development.

In this part one guide, I will go over what you should be buying early on and what makes sense.

🪞 Illusion Battlefield Prime League Shop: High Risk & High Reward

The Illusion Shop features steep discount tags on essential items that are usually troublesome to acquire. Focus your Illusion Coins exclusively on high-tier crafting materials before picking up anything else.

The way to acquire the Coins is by completing daily and weekly tasks. And a greater mass of Coins by betting on alliances.

Must-Buy Items (Top Tier)

  • Elite Forging Material Selection Chest (-85% Discount): Priced at 84 or 192 coins depending on tier, this is the single best value in the Illusion Shop. Forging material is pretty costly and time consuming at the beginning; buy these out every refresh cycle. I would recommend the gold Forging Materials but if you are not able to get there just yet, the purple materials are not bad value.

  • Epic Schematic Fragment Chest (-25% Discount / 30 Coins): Essential for acquiring and upgrading artifacts. But not good value when you will acquire more elsewhere.

  • Philosopher’s Stone (60 Coins): Cheap access to extra immortal summons without burning gems. But it is better access in other shops.

Secondary / Situational Buys

  • Dragon Essence (200 Coins) & Stardust (300 Coins): Grab these if you are actively pushing high-level Dragon talent upgrades or immortal portraits. These are one of the few places where you don't have to use gems or actual currency, which makes these extremely great value.

  • Territorial Teleport (100 Coins) & Marching Speedups (12 Coins): Stock up on these always! You will face tough opponents in legion of frostbourne, Illusion Battlefield, and even contention of lords event. You will deplete these quickly when your back is against the wall.

  • 8h Specialized Speedups (112 Coins): Only purchase Building, Research, Dragon, or Transmuting speedups if you need to hit specific event pushes.

🛡  Alliance Shop: Mobility, Utility, and Shields First

Alliance Coins are earned through daily alliance donations, malena event, donating to captured cities in legion of frostbourne, and events like Illusion Battlefield and IBPL. Prioritize mobility, utility and protection over basic resources.

Priority 1: Vital Utility & Mobility

  • Space Portal (20,000 Alliance Coins): Crucial for server transfers. Always keep enough coins banked to grab one when needed. You never know when an opportunity will arise or your current server is in decline.

  • Territorial Teleport (6,000 Alliance Coins): Essential for a variety of things. You will always need these teleports for different aspects of the game. But you will mainly need them for getting to objectives in the shortest amount of time possible.

  • Protection Barriers (8h / 2,400 Coins | 4h / 1,200 Coins): Your primary defense against enemy attacks while you're online or during offline periods. Never let your shield stack run dry.

  • Contract Builder (1,800 Alliance Coins): A must-buy if you do not have a permanent second building queue unlocked. It saves you gems in the long-term.

Priority 2: Summoning & Speedups

  • Philosopher’s Stone (3,600 Alliance Coins): This is terrible value and not worth it. Even with an overabundance of alliance coins, the quantity is not enough.

  • 3h / 60m / 30m / 15m Speedups: Solid burn for excess Alliance Coins when pushing buildings and tech during events.

Low Priority / Traps

  • Immortal Fragments (Frederick I, Leonidas, Yoshitsune - 6,000 Coins for 5 Frags): Only buy if you are actively starring up these specific physical/defense immortals early on. Otherwise, save your coins for teleports and portals.

  • Resource Boosts (2,160 Coins): Generally poor value compared to utility items. You can get these elsewhere without wasting so much.

💎 Gem/Utility Shop: Account Investment vs. Gem Traps

Gems are your most versatile premium currency. Direct purchases in the main Gem/Utility Shop should be restricted to essential items and boosts.

The Best Gem Purchases

  • VIP Points (100 to 5,000 Gems): Investing Gems directly into VIP points is the highest return on investment in the game. Reaching higher VIP levels unlocks permanent passive gathering speeds, attack boosts, and improved daily chests. However, you should always do this during the spending event so you can get more out of it.

  • Contract Builder (90 Gems): Extremely cheap method to keep your second builder active 24/7. It's decent, but you do not need to constantly purchase this.

  • 1h Tactical Combat Buffs (200 Gems each): Enhanced Attack, Enhanced Defense, Enhanced Crit Rate, and Enhanced Dodge Rate are mandatory purchases right before major alliance events like LoF/IB/IBPL. These are however a last resort when you run out.

  • The Shields will also always be worth to protect yourself.

Major Gem Traps to Avoid

  • Raw Resources (Food, Wood, Stone): Paying 800 or even 180 Gems for 500,000/100,000 Food or Wood is extremely inefficient. Rely on gathering, farm accounts, and alliance claim rewards instead.

  • Full-Price Speedups (e.g., 2,000 Gems for 24h Speedup): Purchasing un-discounted speedups directly from the shop will drain your Gem balance rapidly. Save Gem spending for discounted market refreshes and special events.

Immediate Purchasing Checklist

  1. Daily/Refresh Target: Buy out all of the Territorial Teleports and Protection Barriers from the Alliance Shop.
  2. Long-Term Gem Spend: Dump excess non-event Gems into VIP Points during spending event.

Sparky 🔥 out!
