3 Skills for F2P Qin | Infinity Kingdom

If you're building Qin as an F2P player, choosing the right skills can help you get more out of him without spending resources unnecessarily.

Qin is a Wind Support Immortal whose Ultimate Skill, Dragon Power, applies Wound to prevent enemy healing, increases allied Attack Speed, and grants Cleave to Wind Immortals, allowing their normal attacks to damage an additional enemy.

With that in mind, I've picked three skills worth considering: Energy Suppression, No Escape, and Energy Shield.

Each offers something different, so let's look at how they work, what they cost, and how you can check their performance in battle.

Energy Suppression: The F2P Starting Point

Energy Suppression is where I'd recommend starting.

It's an Epic Grace skill that unlocks at Tower of Knowledge level 36 for 20,000 Soul Crystals.

For the first 12 seconds of battle, it reduces the entire enemy team's Energy Regen Speed by 15% at level 1, increasing to 50% at level 8.

This slows down how quickly enemies gain the Energy needed to activate their Ultimate Skills, potentially allowing your team to use theirs first.

It's particularly useful on Qin because getting Dragon Power active early means your team can benefit from increased Attack Speed and Cleave while the enemy is dealing with Wound.

Best of all, Energy Suppression doesn't require Ability Stones or Cinders, making it an accessible option for F2P players.

No Escape: Take Control of the Fight

If you want more crowd control, No Escape is another option worth considering.

It's an Epic Triggered skill that unlocks at Tower of Knowledge level 54 and requires 60 Ability Stones.

At the beginning of battle, it has a chance to Silence the entire enemy team for six seconds.

At level 1, that chance is 27%, increasing to 90% at level 8.

Silence prevents enemies from using their Ultimate Skills, giving your team an opportunity to build pressure.

Once the opening Silence ends, No Escape checks every six seconds for another activation.

At level 8, it has a 50% chance to deal Physical Damage to all enemies and Stun two random units for three seconds.

This makes No Escape useful beyond the opening seconds, as it can continue disrupting the enemy throughout the fight.

However, if you're already using Energy Suppression, remember that both skills help delay enemy Ultimates. Some of their opening benefits can overlap.

For F2P players, I'd consider whether you actually need that additional control before spending Cinders.

Energy Shield: The Defensive Option

If your team is struggling to survive, Energy Shield might be the better investment.

It's an Epic Triggered skill that unlocks at Tower of Knowledge level 50 and requires 60 Ability Stones.

Every six seconds, there's a 70% chance to shield three random friendly units for three seconds.

The shield absorbs incoming damage, with its Absorb Rate increasing from 72% at level 1 to 240% at level 8.

Unlike Energy Suppression and No Escape, Energy Shield doesn't interfere with the enemy's actions. Instead, it helps protect your team against incoming Physical and Magical Damage.

This can be particularly useful when your damage dealers are performing well but aren't surviving long enough to finish the fight.

The downside is that the shield targets are random, and its 70% activation chance means it won't trigger every time.

Still, if survivability is your biggest problem, Energy Shield is worth considering.

How to Check Your Skills in Battle

Once you've equipped your skills, it's worth checking what they're actually contributing to your fights.

In the example above, you can see how No Escape and Energy Shield appear in the Battle Statistics.

No Escape appears under both Damage and Control. In this battle, it dealt approximately 1.9 million Physical Damage and recorded 39 seconds of Stun alongside six seconds of Silence. This shows why it's worth checking more than just damage when evaluating a crowd control skill.

Energy Shield appears under Healing, despite being a defensive shield rather than a traditional healing skill. In this example, it recorded approximately 31 million in the Total Healing Done column.

Energy Suppression works differently because it doesn't appear in the Battle Statistics. To check it, open the Battle Replay during the first 12 seconds and select the Suppression status icon on an enemy unit. You'll see that its Energy Regen Speed has been reduced.

These are useful ways to check whether your skills are contributing, but remember that larger numbers don't always mean better performance. Consider what your team needs and whether those skills are helping you win fights.

An Important Warning for F2P Players

Before buying No Escape or Energy Shield, there's something you should know.

Both require 60 Ability Stones, which cost a total of 1,020 Cinders each through the Triss Shop.

F2P players can obtain Cinders by selling unwanted KvK Ability Stones that they've purchased using Cold Silver.

However, once you've sold those KvK Ability Stones, you cannot purchase them using Cold Silver again.

That means potentially giving up your free route to obtaining those skills.

Before selling anything, make sure you're comfortable with that decision. Don't sacrifice a KvK skill you might want later just to collect Cinders faster.

Which Skill Should You Choose?

For an F2P Qin, my first recommendation is Energy Suppression.

It's the most accessible option and helps your team control the opening of a fight without spending Cinders.

After that, your choice depends on what your lineup needs.

If you're struggling to disrupt enemy Ultimates, consider No Escape.

If your team is struggling to stay alive, Energy Shield might be a better investment.

You don't need all three immediately, and I'd recommend checking your battle reports and replays before committing valuable resources to another skill.

Final Thoughts

Energy Suppression is a great starting point for F2P Qin builds, while No Escape and Energy Shield offer more specialised options for control and survivability.
