KvK gives you access to a different set of skills depending on the season you’re playing.

In Legendary Season, there are three skills I’d gladly sell rather than unlock on an F2P account.

Each Ability Stone sells for 17 Cinders, so a full set of 60 is worth 1,020 Cinders.

There’s one important warning though.

Once you sell a KvK skill, you can’t get it back.

So this is only something I’d do when I’m confident the skill isn’t going to have a real place in my marches.

Stormeye

Stormeye has a 55% chance every 6 seconds to deal Magical Damage to three random enemies at a 250% Damage Rate.

If the target is Rooted, that damage increases by 50%.

That sounds useful, but the Root condition is what holds it back for me.

To get the most from Stormeye, another part of your lineup needs to apply Root consistently. Even when that condition is met, I found the damage underwhelming when I covered it in Skill School, which is why I placed it in D tier.

There are also easier Magical Damage skills to build around. Abundant Spirit boosts Magical Damage and trigger chance, while Heart of Arcana increases Magical Damage for the whole team.

Unless I already had a setup that uses Root in mind, I’d sell Stormeye.

Siren’s Gaze

Siren’s Gaze can Taunt one random back-row enemy every 12 seconds for 6 seconds.

While it’s active, enemies that normal attack the holder are also Silenced for 1 second.

There’s some value here, especially on a Defense Immortal that can handle the extra pressure.

That’s why I gave it C tier in Skill School.

The problem is that the effect is still quite limited. It only Taunts one random back-row target, and the 12-second interval makes it slow compared with stronger control options.

No Escape, for example, can Silence the whole enemy team at the start of battle and later add Stuns and group damage.

There are also more ways to counter control now, which makes Siren’s Gaze less appealing than it used to be.

Out of these three, this is probably the easiest one for me to sell.

Weakness Protection

Weakness Protection reduces Physical Damage received by the ally with the lowest Physical Defense and Magical Damage received by the ally with the lowest Magical Defense.

At level 8, both reductions reach 60%, but they only last for the first 12 seconds.

The issue is that each ally is only being protected against one type of damage.

If the enemy team is mainly Magical, the Physical side may not do much. If they’re mainly Physical, the Magical side may not do much.

That’s why I placed it in D tier in Skill School.

I can still see it being useful in a second or third team once your better defensive skills are already taken, but I wouldn’t prioritise it on an F2P account.

So, would I sell it?

If I didn’t already have a clear use for it, yes.

Final Thoughts

The important question isn’t whether these skills are completely useless.

They’re not.

The question is whether they’re worth giving up 1,020 Cinders for.

For me, Stormeye is too dependent on Root, Siren’s Gaze is too limited, and Weakness Protection is too situational.

If you want a deeper breakdown of each one, I’ve covered all three in Skill School, including mechanics, pairings, battle reports and tier rankings.

Just remember, selling a KvK skill is permanent.

Would you keep any of these three, or take the Cinders?
