Lord Gitter vs. The Great Player Thief

It was a normal Sunday afternoon, and as usual, especially on weekends, I was enjoying my favorite way to spend free time: sitting in front of my PC and playing GoTWiC.
I am Lord Gitter. Always ready for some action. I am not a bully, but I have to admit something. My guilty pleasure is to spill a little blood from time to time hehe, ofc just ingame. That is how I relax. Most of the time I am doing my daily tasks, collecting RSS, and taking part in whatever event is running.
Everything was normal. Until one message arrived in the alliance inbox. And that message changed my Sunday afternoon. Someone called Доимовочка, from an alliance called FuL, had decided to write to our whole SFu alliance. The message was basically an invitation.
FuL had a very good chance of reaching the final tournament of SOW, and if any SFu players wanted to join them, there were going to be some very big rewards.
Hmm.
I read it once, then again. In SFu, we have a simple rule. When we play events like SOW or AC, we play together. You don't leave the alliance halfway through because another alliance promises you rewards. You stay and fight with your own people until the end. As someone in the leadership, I knew this very well.
At first, I was a little annoyed, but I told myself: ok, time for relax and it will pass. Then, as if someone had been waiting for the perfect moment to pour gasoline on the fire, one of our newest players wrote to leadership asking if he could actually leave SFu and go play with FuL.
That was it. The pot had boiled over. I am Night Commander. I had to do something. First, I dealt with the players who wanted to leave. To me, this was about loyalty. Then I started thinking about FuL. And especially about Доимовочка.
So I found where FuL was located. I found Доимовочка too. And I made a very simple decision: Just Wait hehe

Not for a message, not for an argument.I would wait for one thing. I will wait for bubble to fall off Hehehe. A little evil? Maybe.
But I never said Lord Gitter was an angel. Did I hehe
A few days passed. And then, one beautiful day, I saw it. Доимовочка off bubble, off guard. That was all the invitation I needed. I immediately activated every buff I could find, prepared my troops and jumped to their Kingdom. If there is one thing I have learned in GoTWiC, it is that when your enemy gives you a five-minute window, you don't spend four minutes thinking about it. You move. Less than a minute later, I hit the castle.
And then...
Nothing. Not one troop. Zero. Empty.

I had just spent scrolls to jump there, activated buffs, prepared everything and there wasn't even one lonely T1 troop waiting for me. For a moment I thought:
"Congratulations, Lord Gitter. You have successfully travelled to another Kingdom to attack an empty castle." haha
But then another thought came. This could be a trap, RUN. I pulled back and started looking around the Kingdom. Nothing, no obvious threats. No some big players looking for action, no dangerous castles. Still, something felt strange.
I stayed around for a few days, watching and waiting. Nothing happened. Eventually I thought, Okay, this is pointless. I should back my bags and go home. But then the Kingdom finally gave me something. I was watching World Chat when I noticed some player Ugrumi discussing taking Hofs with someone called Гектор 5. Then came the sentence that caught my attention. That Ugrumi said they would enter his farm Доимовочка, and move around Winterfell.

I stopped. I read it again. Доимовочка? Suddenly everything became clear. It was the same Доимовочка. The same player who had written to my alliance. The same player who had tried to recruit SFu players. And now his castle was being used as part of the operation. Finally. The Kingdom had given me the opportunity I was waiting for. I carefully located them. I didn't attack immediately. That would have been too easy. I waited. Some of the FuL players started moving toward the Hofs. Everyone was focused on getting the castles. And then, at exactly the right moment...
Lord Gitter arrived.

I attacked. It turned into a small massacre.

Some players were caught without Lord. Some had Lord. Some managed to escape. But I managed to catch Ugrumi. That was the moment I had been waiting for. After all those days of flying around the Kingdom, watching, waiting and wondering if anything would actually happen, finally someone gave me a proper target.

I was a little disappointed that I didn't catch Ugrumi 2 as well. But hey, I can't have everything. I am Lord Gitter, not Superman. LOL. I could have stayed longer. I could have kept looking for another mistake, another unbubbled castle, another opportunity. But AC was coming. And that meant it was time to go home. My little adventure was finished. I had jumped to another Kingdom, spent scrolls, burned buffs, chased castles, waited for bubbles to disappear, and finally got my action. Now I needed to return to SFu kingdom. Because merit hunting is fun. Surprising people is fun. A little blood is fun. But when your alliance needs you, you go home. And as I left the Kingdom, I had only one thought:
"I really hope nobody else gets the brilliant idea of trying to steal SFu players again."
Because next time, I might not be so patient.
And Доимовочка, or Ugrumi, or whoever?
Well...
Next time you send an invitation to SFu,
check the bubbles first hoho
