Kingdom vs Kingdom | K96 vs K407 | First Blood

Today was a different Saturday. The Kingdom vs. Kingdom event was about to begin, and my expectations were very high. I was on a voice call with my friends Sup Mestre P and Mustaffa. This time, the three of us were together in Kingdom 96 and ready to fight whoever our opponent was. We were three cavalry players and had enough troops to open a rally against big players or even hold the big cities without any problems, unless a powerful spearman appeared on the other side.

As soon as midnight arrived, we finally found out who our opponent was: Kingdom 407. As a merit hunter, I had never been to that kingdom. This meant that it was a small server with few players.

As soon as I opened the map to look around King's Landing, I saw that WRA, a Russian alliance, lived there. But I could not find any powerful players in that kingdom. But of course, I am not that naive. I know that, in most cases, they stay hidden, spread around the kingdom so they do not draw attention. And when the enemy kingdom least expects it, they appear and do their attacks, winning the KvK without much difficulty.

The three of us were ready to jump to the enemy kingdom. Sup was going to capture King's Landing, and Mustaffa and I would provide the reinforcements. But I told them I was going to be a little bit late because I found a target.

Evgen was vulnerable in the main wra hive, and I wondered if it was a trap, something very normal in KvK’s. Besides being in battle equipment, the players around him were all active. And that seemed very strange and dangerous at the same time. Well, I decided to get close and scout him. If he had anti-scout activated, it would clearly be a trap. But, to my surprise, he did not.

Hmmmm, I do not know. That was looking very weird… A player in battle equipment, unbubbled, with synergy between the commanders and a good amount of troops on the wall. That was looking like a trap.

Checking the report a little bit closer, there was no sign of a garrison or reinforcements in his castle. But what was his plan? Would another player attack me if I attacked him? I asked myself that question for long minutes, and then decided to take the risk and launch the first attack, even aware that my KvK could end right there.

While the troops were marching, I kept looking at my power bar. And when my army hit, I saw the numbers dropping violently, leaving me scared. Obviously, attacking a wall with six million T4 infantry and Latz Karin present is never easy for me, but I did not think I would cause so little damage to his army.

It was only after opening the report that I realized I had forgotten to fill my hospital with T1 troops. This was a KvK where 80% of the troops would be revived. So, putting high-tier troops in the hospital would mean that I would need a ton of resources to heal them. This was a mistake that I made before the event started.

More than 300 thousand of my T5 troops were lost or wounded in that impact, while I only managed to reach his T3 troops. Of course, the fortifications and the T1 troops did a hard job, but I was willing to go all the way and find out what his real plan was.

I thought all of that was very suspicious. My troops went and came back, and I was not attacked. Was it actually not a trap? Had he simply forgotten his bubble? I did not know; I was still very unsure about all of that. But fortunately, the second attack changed the outcome of that battle, making him lose almost six million troops, while the losses on my side were greatly reduced; even so, T5 troops were killed or wounded.

Unlike the first attack, this time I managed to hit a large number of T4 troops, and only a little over two million troops remained in his army. And without thinking twice, I attacked again. But this time, I removed the Reroute Dragon Skill so I would not leave any surviving soldiers.

After the third attack, Evgen was eliminated. And contrary to what I feared, he was not a trap. He had simply been careless and lost his bubble. After the third attack, none of his infantry troops survived. And the event was over for him.

While Sup and Mustaffa were holding King's Landing in the enemy kingdom, I was fighting Evgen, and this was the perfect start to the event for us. Opening a good lead in the first hours of KvK is very important, especially in a highly contested event like this.

There are still a few hours ahead, and I am curious to see how this will end. And the question I ask myself now is: is there any whale hidden somewhere in Kingdom 407? I think I will find out soon.
