For several days, P4RTYStoppa hadn't launched a single attack. To most players, that might not seem unusual, but for someone who spent countless hours hunting across kingdoms, it felt like an eternity. His routine normally consisted of checking reports, scouting kingdoms, and searching for exposed castles worth spending a scroll on. After a quiet stretch with little action, he was eager to get back into the hunt.

That opportunity arrived when a message popped up from Juno, a friend from the N0X alliance.

The message contained coordinates to Kingdom 401. Juno had discovered two unshielded castles that looked promising and suggested P4RTY take a look. Switching over to his scout account, P4RTY reviewed the reports for himself. It didn't take long to confirm what Juno had already seen. Both castles contained enough troops to justify the scroll, and, more importantly, both were still sitting completely exposed.

After several quiet days, that was all the motivation he needed.

Within minutes, he was porting into Kingdom 401 and preparing his marches. The excitement was immediate. Hunters often spend hours searching without finding a worthwhile target, but this time the opportunity had practically been handed to him. Two exposed castles, both valuable, both in the same kingdom. It was the perfect way to break the silence.

His first target was Davehuk from the VoV alliance.

The scouting report revealed a mixed wall protecting a mixed troop formation. Although there was a respectable number of bow troops inside, nothing suggested the castle could withstand a powerful infantry rally. Everything pointed toward a straightforward attack.

P4RTY launched his first solo.

The results were exactly what he expected.

Davehuk's defenses crumbled under the assault as a large portion of the army disappeared in a single strike. Looking over the battle report, P4RTY already knew how the fight would end. There were still troops standing, but the castle had little chance of surviving another hit.

The second attack came only moments later.

This time the remaining defense collapsed completely.

Davehuk was zeroed, and the lord was captured on the final strike. It was exactly the kind of clean opening target every hunter hopes for. Minimal complications, respectable losses, and a healthy amount of merit added to the total.

With the first castle eliminated, P4RTY shifted his focus to the second target.

This one belonged to August West from the PRa alliance.

Unlike the first castle, August West was running a spear formation with a triple weakness on the wall. On paper, it looked slightly tougher than Davehuk, but still well within reach.

Then something unusual caught P4RTY's attention.

Inside the castle sat a trapped lord.

Someone had clearly attacked August West earlier, successfully captured the lord, yet somehow failed to finish zeroing the castle. The owner had been left waiting while their lord remained imprisoned inside, trapped until someone completed the job.

P4RTY paused for a moment.

The castle was still worth attacking. The troops were still there, and the merit would still be excellent. But finishing the castle would also free the imprisoned lord belonging to another player.

For a brief moment, he wondered who the original hunter had been and whether they were still somewhere nearby.

Curiosity aside, the decision was easy.

A good target was still a good target.

He launched the attack.

The battle ended even faster than expected.

August West's defenses simply couldn't withstand the pressure. One clean solo erased the remaining troops, zeroed the castle, and captured the defending lord in a single strike

At that exact moment, the previously trapped lord was finally released.

A return line immediately stretched away from the castle across the kingdom map.

Curious, P4RTY followed it.

He traced the path back through the kingdom, wondering if he might find the hunter who had captured the lord earlier. Perhaps they were still online, still hunting nearby.

Unfortunately, he arrived just a little too late.

By the time he located the castle, the player had already bubbled and vanished from sight. Whatever had happened during that earlier attack would remain a mystery.

P4RTY simply laughed.

At least the imprisoned lord had finally made it home.

With the kingdom quiet once again, he took a moment to review the reports.

The hunt had gone almost perfectly.

Two castles had been zeroed.

Two enemy lords had been captured.

One forgotten lord had been set free.

And after several uneventful days, he had finally found the action he had been missing.

By the end of the hunt, the merit counter had climbed to just over 28 million.

For a single scroll and a relatively short trip, it was an outstanding return.

The numbers alone made the hunt worthwhile, but there was another reason this kingdom stood out. PRa wasn't an unfamiliar alliance. Over time, P4RTY had crossed paths with several of its members and recognized more than a few familiar names. Hunting in a kingdom filled with recognizable opponents always added a little extra enjoyment to the experience.

With the reports safely archived and another successful hunt complete, P4RTY left Kingdom 401 satisfied.

The short break was over.

He was back doing what he enjoyed most.

Two targets had fallen.

Two lords had been captured.

One forgotten lord had been freed.

And once again, the scroll had more than paid for itself.

If you'd like, I can also rewrite it in a more cinematic, YouTube-narration style with stronger suspense and dramatic transitions.
