Most great hunts don't begin with a carefully planned operation.

They begin with a simple sentence:

"Before we log off, let's check one more target."

It was already 3:44 AM.

Most of us should have been asleep hours earlier. Instead, a small group of friends was still sitting in Discord, talking, laughing, and doing what hunters always do: sharing coordinates and looking for opportunities.

The original plan was simple. Find one last target, finish the evening, and finally go to bed.

As every experienced hunter knows, those are often the most dangerous words in Westeros.

The Discovery

The search had already gone on for a while.

Several castles had been checked. Some were protected. Some weren't worth the effort. Others looked promising until someone took a closer look.

Then Elyriah found a castle belonging to [VjC] Медведь36.

At first glance, it looked exactly like the kind of target every hunter hopes to find: enough power to make the hunt worthwhile.

The only problem was distance.

For Elyriah, reaching the target would have required a jump costing thirteen scrolls. Thirteen scrolls for a single hunt is not a decision most players make lightly. The castle was tempting, but not thirteen-scrolls tempting.

Elyriah was already preparing to move on when KiNGSLAyER checked the coordinates himself.

His response changed everything.

For him, the exact same jump would cost only a single scroll.

One scroll.

The target hadn't changed.

The distance hadn't changed.

Yet everything suddenly looked different.

What had been thirteen scrolls away for Elyriah was only one scroll away for KiNGSLAyER. What seemed too expensive to justify had instantly become the perfect hunting opportunity.

Within moments, the discussion shifted from "Should we attack?" to "When do we start?"

And just like that, sleep was forgotten.

First Blood

The first attack landed shortly afterward.

The opening strike inflicted nearly 60 million power losses and immediately confirmed that the target was worth the jump.

The battle reports suggested that the defender's hospitals were already overwhelmed, turning every additional attack into a devastating blow.

The first battle report appeared in Discord.

People who had been preparing to log off suddenly became very interested again.

One successful hit can happen by chance.

A target that starts bleeding that heavily usually means something more.

The castle was vulnerable.

And experienced hunters know exactly what that means.

Keep going.

Applying Pressure

Many battles are decided long before the final blow lands.

The first attack reveals weakness.

The second attack tests whether the defender can recover.

The third attack often determines the outcome.

KiNGSLAyER wasted no time.

A second attack followed shortly afterward, inflicting another 60 million power losses and putting even more pressure on the defender.

The numbers told a clear story.

The defender was losing ground rapidly.

By this point nobody in Discord was talking about bedtime anymore.

Every new battle report generated more excitement than the last.

The hunt had officially become the highlight of the evening.

The Breaking Point

Then came the attack that turned a successful hunt into a complete collapse.

The third attack proved decisive. More than 120 million power losses were inflicted, transforming a successful hunt into a complete collapse of the defender's position.

The effect was devastating.

A castle that had looked powerful only minutes earlier was now collapsing under the pressure.

Every attack was becoming more effective than the one before.

The defender's ability to absorb damage was disappearing.

This was where KiNGSLAyER’s infantry setup began to shine.

While Daeron has not yet reached four stars, the formation is already producing impressive results. Rather than relying on a single overwhelming attack, the setup continuously weakens the enemy and turns every follow-up strike into an even bigger threat.

The reports from that night demonstrated exactly that.

Each attack made the next attack stronger.

Each attack pushed the defender closer to collapse

The Final Blow

By now, the outcome was no longer in doubt.

Only one step remained.

Finish the hunt.

The final attack effectively ended the battle.

What had started as a promising target had become a complete success.

The enemy lord was captured.

The hunters were satisfied.

And now, surely, everyone could finally go to bed.

At least that was the plan.

A Second Opportunity

As it turns out, Westeros had other ideas.

Before anyone could finally call it a night, another opportunity appeared.

This time the target was [NW2] Me 3lissandr.

Under normal circumstances, most groups would have called it a night.

After all, it was nearly four in the morning.

But after the success against Медведь36, nobody was in the mood to stop.

The hunt continued.

The opening strike against Me 3lissandr inflicted more than 73 million power losses, making it immediately clear that the night's hunting session was far from over.

The second attack followed quickly.

The follow-up attack inflicted more than 110 million power losses, leaving little doubt about the outcome.

The pattern looked familiar.

Each report looked worse than the one before.

The defender was weakening.

Discord, meanwhile, showed no signs of going to sleep.

One Last Victory

The final attack secured the second victory of the night.

By this point the original goal of "one last target before bed" had become a distant memory.

What began as a casual late-night scouting session had turned into two successful hunts, hundreds of millions of enemy losses, and a night that nobody involved was likely to forget anytime soon.

More Than Battle Reports

Looking back, the battle reports only tell part of the story.

They show losses.

They show victories.

They show numbers.

What they do not show are the conversations in Discord, the coordinates being shared, the excitement when a promising target appears, or the laughter that follows a successful hunt.

Those moments never appear in battle reports.

Yet they are often the reason players keep coming back year after year.

In the end, this story was never really about power losses or battle reports.

It was about a group of friends looking for one final target before bed.

It began with a simple idea.

One last hunt.

It ended with two successful hunts, hundreds of millions in power losses, a captured lord, and a story worth telling.

Not bad for a night that was supposed to be over.

The next time someone in Discord says:

"Before we log off, let's check one more target."

everyone will know better.
