Crown of Destiny - Arena of Honor Season 5 Round 11

As the Summer is preparing to take Westeros by force, the season 4 of Arena of Honor is slowly but surely approaching its end and [N0X] Shado only has 5 rounds to improve his score and hopefully reach Glory King ranking. In the 4 rounds since he joined the team, he managed to get 4 wins and that scored him over 160 points so now he's only several points away of Glory King rank, so as long as they keep winning, they can get to where they want. With that in mind, he prepared his troops, commanders and dragons as good as he possibly could and after everything was done, on the Sunday evening, he departed towards the Arena of Honor battlefield. Once he arrived there, he met with the team, and everyone signed the pre-registration papers required for the team to be registered and once that was done, they all waited patiently for the matchmaking to be concluded by the Old Gods.

Once the matchmaking was completed, the battlefield doors opened, and everyone stepped inside to see which house is going to pick them and against whom they'll fight. For this fight, the team was chosen by Daenerys Targaryen to fight in the name of her house and as soon as all the teams got picked, everyone headed towards their respective house clan castles, with the team heading together with Daenerys towards the South-West forests of the battlefield where the House Targaryen's Clan Castle is located.

Once they arrived there, everyone set camps and Shado decided to send some scouts around the battlefield to see what the other houses are up to.

The news he got back weren't good at all; Starks and Lannister's were both having extremely strong teams fighting on their side so winning this round will be going to be very hard if not impossible. The team barely had a few minutes to adapt their strategy to the now known enemies, as the horn announcing the start of the battle was heard all over the battlefield and the strongholds dropped their protection bubble so everyone rushed to occupy them as quickly as possible and start the points generation as more than ever, every point will matter on this fight.

Once the 2 minutes of occupation time passed, the team decided to go once again with military camps and hope they'll be able to occupy at least one clan castle and then later in the fight maybe be able to hold City of Glory with the help of catapults. The constructions were finished just in time as the altars started opening and the team needed to occupy as many of them as possible to keep any chances at winning this round. Unlike other rounds where the first sets of altars go unchallenged, on this round, all 3 houses started fighting from the first altars and while fighting on such a high battlefield wasn't going to be easy for Shado, he was decided to challenge everyone and see where he ends up.

Some fight's he barely won, some he won easily, some he got crushed by stronger opponents, but all in all the round was going better than expected for him and his team. Despite them expecting House Lannister to be a bigger problem on the battlefield, it was Starks that were leading in points mainly due to them going full trading posts on 2 clan castles and generating a lot of points every minute.

House Targaryen's mission was now not allowing the Starks to take or keep more than 3 Altars of Maiden at once to try and put at least a speedbump on their points generation.

Easier set than done as despite all the team's effort and constantly kicking the Starks out of altars, once they started reinforcing their strongest warriors, taking 3 altars was just a formality for them and they were cruising in points so the House Targaryen's last chance at winning this round would have to be once again the City of Glory.

As soon as the city bubble dropped, the team sent B R A X to challenge the neutral NPCs and with a swift solo he evicted them from the city, then everyone in the team reinforced and expected the worst. And the worst didn't take long to appear as the enemies quickly organized rallies and in a matter of minutes, they were already at the city gates ready to challenge House Targaryen.

B R A X fought valiantly and helped by the reinforcements he managed to deflect a few of the rallies but each of them took some of the troops inside with it and finally Zarachiel's rally managed to break the defenses and start the occupation time for House Lannister. But the Targaryen's really wanted that city and the win, and it was time for them to send Wind5 and his spears into the battlefield.

It didn't take long for the rally to be filled, and his sped-up attack was devasting for Zarachiel's cavalry and once again House Targaryen prepared their defenses for the upcoming attacks. A back-and-forth battle took place for the rest of the battle between the rallies coming mainly from House Lannister and the reinforcements from House Targaryen.

Ultimately Wind5 power combined with top notch reinforcements coming from the other team members won and House Targaryen managed to occupy the City of Glory. But even with the city under their banner the battle for points between House Stark and House Targaryen continued till the last second and kept everyone on the battlefield on their toes.

One of the most disputed rounds of this season ended with Shado and his team winning but just by a bit. It took everything they had to defeat the trading posts army that Starks had and even with the City of Glory they barely managed to do so. Now they have to put this win next to the others on the shelve and focus on the next rounds as Glory Kings rankings isn't waiting nobody. Will they be able to continue winning? We'll have to wait and see. See you all on the battlefield!
