Video Trailer

As Spring is starting to slowly but surely leave Westeros and make room for the scorching Summer, the Season 5 of Arena of Honor it's slowly heading towards its end, now heading towards the 10th round. After having a quite slow season start with teams that disbanded after a round and solo queues, [N0X] Shado finally managed to find a team on the 7th round and since joining them they won all the rounds they've played together, and Shado was hoping that the streak will keep going. With that in mind he used the 2 weeks between the rounds to do as many upgrades as possible and on Sunday just before the sun was setting it was time for him to head towards the Arena of Honor battlefield once again. Once he arrived there, he met with the team and together they registered for the upcoming round and then waited for the matchmaking to be completed by the Old Gods.

Once the matchmaking was completed the house representatives got out of the battlefield to announce what team they picked to fight in their name for this round. Shado's team was picked by House Lannister and together with Cersei they headed towards the South-East forests of the battlefield to set their camps and do last minute preparations and Shado decided once again to scout the battlefield and see whom they are up against.

Team Presentation

The ravens didn't bring back good news as the team was set to face 2 very strong teams of which the most threatening one was the [RRH] team led by Dakarshur that was fighting for the House Stark. While the news wasn't good, Shado's team had also quite a very strong warriors in their roster, so the match was announcing to be a very disputed one once again.

The horn announcing the start of the battle was heard not long after and the strongholds dropped their protective bubble, so everyone rushed at them to start the points generation.

Once the occupation time passed, it was now time for the construction to start and HotepRa as the team commander decided to go with military camps once again, specifically infantry camps to counter the neutral NPCs residing in the watch towers and catapults. Workers did an amazing job and in a matter of minutes the strongholds were fully constructed, and they were already preparing for the next set of strongholds while the soldiers were getting ready to fight for the altars. As soon as the altars started opening, it was clear it's going to be a hassle to hold them and Shado decided to do her best to answer the reinforcement calls from her team-mates and do some solos where he could.

Some of Shado's solos had success, some ended in disaster but overall, the team managed to conquer quite a few of the altars, and they also did a good job when it they had to defend them against enemy attacks.

Despite securing quite a lot of altars over the first half of the battle, as the opening of City of Glory was approaching the team was quite behind in points and the best way to recover them and maybe win the round was occupying and holding the City of Glory.

Easier said than done as both the other teams were having very strong warriors ready to challenge the city and since quite some of them were cavalry, the team decided to send Wind5 as rally banner this time instead of Balrum.

As expected, as soon as House Lannister took the city, both the Starks and Targaryen's quickly made their rallies in an attempt to take the city back. Dakarshur, Andir and Bizonus quickly made their rallies and in a matter of minutes they were already at the city gates ready to challenge Wind5 ownership.

As soon as they arrived in the vale and noticed how many troops there are, the team knew it's going to be a very complicated battle. The rallies started hitting in quick succession and while none of them were winning, each of them was chipping the team's troops in the city so they always had to pull their march back and quickly speed back in. Every rally was extremely bloody for both sides but none of the houses wanted to stop and cut the loses so the millions of troops kept clashing each other, turning the snow around the city red in minutes.

Despite having a few close calls with the defense army in the city dropping way too low for their comfort, the team never gave up on holding the castle and they kept healing their troops and sending them back to the city as quickly as possible. Ultimately despite having the numbers, the Starks and Targaryen's had to succumb to Wind5's raw strength, and the top-notch reinforcements provided by his team.

Very hard round for the team as being shown in the points result, but they fought valiantly every second of the round and ultimately their relentless dedication led them on the path to another win. A question remains on the lips of everyone, how much this streak that started 4 rounds ago will keep going? Time will tell. See you all on the battlefield
