He had only been with AVO for a short time—just a few months—and participated with them in Siege of Winterfell, where he stood out and was subsequently invited by a friendly alliance, FDH, to try to qualify in the final playoff match, but it didn’t work out. After that event, he invaded a few kingdoms, though not as frequently as before; his raids became increasingly sporadic. And at the alliance council, they saw some of his reports and called him to be one of the rally leaders for a new event, Alliance Conquest. For him, it was the first time he’d held a position like this. He’d always been used to being a filler. In fact, for some engagements, he’d been cut from the playoffs. Now it was different; that was the benefit of being in a smaller alliance—being able to stand out.

Although he didn’t have the five cavalry commanders that the big whales boast, he had Cersei, Senelle, and Cassana, whom he’d acquired a month ago, just before SoW ended.

He had some idea of what it meant to be a rally leader; he was a little anxious. The first opponent was already in sight: PQL. He entered with his army and asked if he could go for a building on the first capture; they told him yes—either Warrior or Enemy Port. Two important targets; he would try to be the first to capture at least one of them, even though he had never tried it before.

In the first of four possible capture attempts, he didn’t capture a single one, but he sent his cavalry army to reinforce Mother, where the strongest in his line, Spartacus I, was stationed. After they managed to withstand a few rallies and attacks on SOLO—since the enemy was quite strong—he withdrew his troops and prepared to go after the enemy port in the first capture attempt. Once again, he was late. But that wasn’t a reason to give up; that wasn’t why he was there, so he initiated rallies when asked.

Ganicus, who is the strongest in the entire alliance, attacked a building over and over to weaken it, and then the other strongest players from AV0 did the same. In this way, they were able to capture some buildings and earn some points. Casterly Rock remained in the rival alliance’s possession; they tried to take it but were unable to, as whoever was holding the main building was quite strong. For now, the only building still standing was Mother’s, which allowed them to avoid spending so many speed-ups on healing. The situation was complex, but they shouldn’t count the match as lost prematurely.

Fraant saw an opportunity: the player holding the Targaryen stronghold wasn’t strong enough, and he noticed that one of his teammates was weakening it—and that the stronghold was reinforced after every attack. If he joined the attacks, the chances of capturing it would be higher, so he began attacking alongside his teammate until he was the only one left. It’s a building that doesn’t grant many points per minute, but it’s important when combined with others to provide stat buffs to the alliance that owns them. He shared the coordinates, requesting reinforcements, and the support was total. The fortress began to fill up little by little and served to withstand enemy attacks.

Some didn't do much damage, but others wiped out several reinforcements in a single blow. As one of the largest armies with a dragon possessing good skills, his troops were among the hardest hit; he would heal them and send them back in. His alliance, meanwhile, continued with the same strategy to capture buildings: Ganicus would strike until they were weakened, and then the strongest players would move in to try to take them while their defenses were nearly nonexistent. If he managed to capture a building, they would perform a swap—a tactic that often worked but sometimes didn’t.

Meanwhile, he had to keep dealing with the attacks on the building he was defending. In an attempt to score more points, Spartacus—who was at Mother—left it so that someone else could take it, but the swap failed. Since he and Ganicus were the strongest members of the alliance, they had to go for both mines, but they depended on the runners to do their job. They only managed to capture Lannister Mine. Fraant sent what little infantry he had to try to provide support in the face of his teammates’ reluctance to reinforce. He had participated in previous seasons with WTF, which later became FFS, and then with RRH and NBe; the way they reinforced in moments like this was much more intense. For now, he was going to keep his thoughts to himself, since the outcome was already decided. PLQ had taken over practically the entire map, with the exception of the mine held by Ganicus. Fraant had also lost his building; reinforcements stopped arriving after the mines were captured, and that sealed the defeat. But in a moment of carelessness, the opponents lost the Targaryen Mine, and it was Rinox who captured it; there were still points left in it, and solo attacks began to come, one after another. Fraant sent his troops as many times as necessary, until they were able to completely drain it. The deficit wasn’t large—fifteen thousand points. Then PLQ released all the buildings and ceded them to AV0 as a gesture of fair play.

For his first time leading the rally, he made a few mistakes, but at least he showed a willingness to participate and take the initiative in his new role at this event. There’s still room for improvement; even though it was a loss, they at least showed grit and determination against a slightly stronger alliance.
